Hello Boza,

this is an interesting question. If you decide to buy PSAs is there a guarantee they would be active? Would they be PSAs you are looking for? We all tend to build strong active downline and our job is the same with both, bought and self sponsored PSAs. I believe that you can be successful either way, but there is no guarantee that you’ll be better luck with PSAs you bought, likewise there is no guarantee for the PSAs you sponsored yourself. They could be active or inactive no matter how you sponsored them.

It also depends on how much time/money you can invest. If you have more time try to sponsor PSAs yourself, there are a lot of powerful sponsoring methods at our amazing Marketing Center. It takes more time that way but you can have a lot of fun and also learn a lot. If you have limited time then you can set a Co-op or win PSAs on auction. Or you can combine.

I believe that you can learn how to sponsor PSAs yourself and find the same PSAs you would buy or even much better ones. You can do both, but there is no guarantee.

Whether you buy PSAs, win them on PriceBender Auctions or advertise for them yourself, you will need to learn how to sponsor them yourself.

We all have different options on how to obtain PSAs. This is the easy part. The hard part is being a decent sponsor for each PSA. Each has their own needs, understanding of network marketing, and goals. Learning to sponsor your PSA will require you to build skills in effective communication, encouragement of others, being okay with reaching out to others and more.

Once you receive a PSA, despite the method, then the work truly begins for you in helping the PSA to work towards their goals. Stay in contact with them. Do not just recruit and hope they will do the work on their own. Welcome them to the program, offer your help and be open to their needs.

I think that if you purchase the S-Builder Coop units, you'll get the chance to acquire good affiliates. On the other hand, trying to sponsor affiliates yourself is a good challenge because it will give you some skills along the way.

Never underestimate yourself when you approach prospects. If you keep persisting by advertising your business often, I am sure you will grow your down line to a good size. I believe the two methods together would be perfect.

Sponsoring and duplication is most important in order to build a successful SFI business. An active downline of PSAs can generate a good income for years to come. However one needs to consider how to optimize your resources and get the maximum results in a cost-effective way. The question of buying PSAs or learning how to sponsor yourself arises and for various reasons both methods are useful. However I will consider the factors when making a decision:

COST
The cost of purchasing PSAs can be high. What if that cost is channelled into paid advertising. Would there be better results than buying PSAs? Weigh the costs and it may be more prudent to take up paid advertising instead. On the other hand you don’t pay anything for free classifieds, traffic exchanges etc.

QUALITY
The quality of purchased PSAs can be suspect. Are they genuine compared to PSAs obtained through sponsoring? If you have sponsored someone there is a chance they have some genuine interest compared to purchased PSAs. You can never tell for sure how the purchased PSAs came about unlike sponsoring yourself.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
You practically learn nothing about sponsoring if you are going to rely solely on purchasing PSAs. There is a saying “give a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. SFI has more than ample resources to learn how to sponsor and build a sizeable downline.

POWER OF THE INTERNET
Why spend a fortune on buying PSAs when you can use the power of the internet to build a large downline at a lower cost. You have social media, free search engine submission of your website, classifieds, blogs etc.

TIME CONSTRAINT
For those with time constraints perhaps they don’t mind paying to purchase PSAs and also bidding at auctions. If you have the funds purchasing PSAs is a quicker option.

CONCLUSION
I would recommend a combination of the two methods with a mix of 20% purchasing PSAs and 80% sponsoring. This is especially ideal for those who are new to internet marketing. Those who are new can purchase PSAs for a start while they learn the ropes of sponsoring.

For me, I love sponsoring my own affiliates. I do this using TEs (Traffic Exchanges), using short Text Ads that I create myself and get from the Marketing Methods provided by SFI (https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/MarketingCenter?form=MarketingMethods), as well as offline, face to face promotions to family, friends and people I run into on the street,
in supermarkets, and, of course, around my neighborhood.

I've been in affiliate marketing since 1997. Of course, SFI is by far the best company I've had the pleasure of working with on a global basis. I've learned to use my own websites, in particular (http://www.neverfullpricehere.weebly.com), as a means of introducing SFI/TripleClicks to the national and international marketplace.

But I have also used CO-op at the same time. The only thing about using Co-op, you just don't have control over the 'quality' of affiliates you'll get in return.

You can BUY and Learn how to sponsor by yourself regarding PSAs. You can do it both.

If you have friends and relatives which you think is interested of what you are doing you can personally sponsored them. You can read all the sponsoring method provided by SFI, and it is free.

If you like to have a large number of PSAs you can buy them, or you can join in AUCTIONS and if you are lucky enough you can have 100 PSAs just with one wins. Exciting!

One more is, you can join S Builder Co-op and have it a Standing Order (SO). By doing it you will be an Executive Affiliates monthly and you will have PSAs too.

In my opinion it is always better to start with learning things. Especially if you are new affiliate in SFI because you probably do not know everything about this job and about sponsoring. I think you should start to learn few things:

1. How to get your PSAs using your own promotional tools.
2. How to “spend” quality time with your new PSAs.
3. How to teach your PSAs to work in SFI.
4. How to motivate your inactive PSAs.

When you get your PSA (bought or sponsored on your own) you need to know how to work with them and this is why I think it is better to start sponsoring them on your own, at least for start. Later, when you will have a lot of knowledge and practice, you can buy them too. But there is always this great option called: “win them on auction”. I think this is amazing opportunity to get PSAs.

Wnen buying them, see the various offers in different ECAs, read the comment and ratings and decide which budget you can spend on it.
When sponsoring,read the beginner/intermediate/advanced methods for sponsoring and try with free/paid advertising.For free advertising there are thousands of places to put your ads, just you need to invest time to find out where are the best results.For paid advertising, always check the ratings and prices and decide the spent budget on it.
There is always a possibility for physical sponsoring among friends, family members, collegues etc.
One more way to get PSAs is to bid at the Pricebenders.
You should try all the ways and see what best suits you.

You can buy PSAs by, for example, setting up a standing order for the S-builder. You will get PSAs through that program, however, you still have to sponsor them. S-builder does not sponsor them for you. It becomes your job to help the affiliates you are assigned to become business owners themselves.

If you decide to use, for instance, traffic sites or other sources to find PSAs yourself, you again have the task to also sponsor them by working with them so they can become successful as well.

Every affiliate you help, and that commits to SFI, will eventually become successful and that will reflect back on you with more success for you!

Deciding whether to buy PSAs or learning how to sponsor them yourself, I say do both. But before you do both, it's best to start with learning how to sponsor them first. It's good to build your team, but it's best to learn how to lead your team and you can do that be reading the training info on SFI titled "How to Be an Awesome Sponsor (and create big income duplication)." That applies and will teach you how to be a great leader for when you have PSAs and CSAs on your SFI roster.

For those who want to continue to stay and be active, you have good members on your team. For those are were active but drop out, leave them be. Keep continuing to recruit new members until you find a gold mine of active members. One day they just might impress you or maybe all days for that matter. Hang in there.
