Good Day Roberto,
Prospecting "Face-to-Face" Can Be Easier Than you Think...
(NOTE: I recommend you try this out on friends and family, simply to get a better "feel" for what you are doing. You may also, at the same time, find a "gem" in a friend and/or family member. One who may become an "active" member of your downline/Team.)
As a current, online business owner with SFI, there are certain skills you will want to have, especially 'face-to-face' skills that can not only increase your downline, but can provide you with considerably MORE active affiliates.
Here's the pitch I suggest.. not just for "elevators" but anywhere:
"Excuse me Maam/Sir, but have you
ever considered starting your own
business from home?"
(Wait for prospect to reply. If he or she says YES, say the following:)
"Excellent... because we've got the right one for you!"
(If he or she says NO, simply hand him or her one of your business cards, and
thank him or her for their time. NOTE: Your business card should have your full
name, address, telephone number, email address and either your own, personal/
business website, or one of SFI's gateways on it.)
(Otherwise, continue as follows:)
"SFI has been around for over 17 years
and is still growing! Their affiliate program
provides all the tools and services you need
to set up a successful online business! It's
free to join and you can even sell the old
stuff you don't need anymore online. Here,
take one of my cards. You should really
check it out!"
(As you are finishing your last statement "You should really check it out",
hand him or her one of your business cards. Remember, this is just a short
and to the point introduction, so you do not go into any long and drawn out
breakdown of SFI or TripleClicks. What you want, is for the prospect to
either contact you, personally, for more information, or to go online
and sign-up under you, using one of your own, personal SFI gateways.)
In this case, end the conversation like this:
"Maam/Sir, here's my card. If you have any questions,
or need further information, please feel free to contact
me (pointing to your name, telephone # and email address).
Or, you can go online (pointing to your website and/or
SFI Gateway [url]) to get all the information you
require and/or to sign up FREE!"
(Here, simply thank the prospect for giving you some of
his or her time, smile and go on your way to the next prospect.)
Needless to say, if you want to change the above script, to fit your own personality or for any other reason, please feel free to do so. However, what I suggest is that you memorize the script as it is, use it first, then, if you feel it necessary, alter the script to your own personal preference.
