Hi,
Charity they say begins at home. There was a question asked in one of the lunch pad quiz that says 'I you mistakenly discover a goldmine who will you tell first' . The answer of course is your family member.
Therefore to dissect your questions, I will suggest you start off with your nucleus and extended families first.
Though a prophet has no honor in his country, your family members being the ones closest to you can easily observe the zeal, passion, the determination

This is not an black or white answer. You will have to determine yourself who you will get the right response from.
If you are the kind of person who sign up for all types of business then recruite your friends and family before you understand the business, then it doesn't work out so you quit, then you may want to stay away from you friends and family until you can prove to them that you have proof that it works and you are benefiting from it.
This is when you market to strangers because

My choice is strangers, and here’s why.

When I first started, I tried to talk my closest friends into it. They seemed interested, wanted to learn more about it and one of them said: “Since the suggestion comes from you, I believe it’s a good opportunity. But, I don’t want to challenge our friendship for anything like business. As I understand, your success will depend on mine, and mine on yours, and that might lead to a conflict. We don’t need that, right?”

And I

It looks easier to promote to family and friends first, but it is not. Specialy in country where you come from.

Family know you long time, and have oppinion about your previous work, skills etc. So , they have problem to see you in new and different light, in diferent work, strange world for them. It is hard for them to belive you in success. They need time to watch you first and they will wait for your success first. Even then they are not sure and often refuse to try.

Hello friend,

You have to promote SFI to everyone. Friends, family relatives, strangers etc.

After that you focus all your energy and time to those who actually
want to participate and understand it.

You cant leave someone out from not telling them about SFI thus that one person can be your
start for your income. Plus, the more the better.

Hope this helps

Hi Gordana,
The simple answer is both, as a SFI member, you are a marketer, and in marketing, your job is to sell, and to sell to as many people as you can! In promoting SFI, you are not trying to sell a product per say, but you are trying to sell the prospect on becoming an affiliate under you, so you are still selling something.

As a marketer, you want to make as many sells as you possibly can, so why would you limit yourself to just one area of the market?

Yes if you

Before asking anyone, complete your lessons so you know your subject well enough
to explain it to someone. Then pick a text ad by SFI to use.

I would then start with my best friends. You can ask them to take a couple of days and look at it as a favor to you.

Since it is free to join, has free lessons and you do not pay for a website, your friends will help you.

Ask your family next.Let's say 5 of your friends signed up.Put each family member under a different

Family or strangers? Take both!

Just where to start promoting?

Family and friends are a good starting point as long as they are open to your new discovery and want to share the experience with you. But if they are too skeptic, it will be a critical hit for you when you try to talk about it and get shot down with cynical and pessimistic remarks telling you to earn money by getting another employment.
The first will help you grow and learn more and more about business, they
