SFI has already provided great ways to stay in touch with your PSA and CSA. The system itself works great but you can incorporate your own other methods to suit your communication needs accordingly.
WITH SFI YOU CAN USE:
The Genealogy. It is also called your Affiliate manager and works great in managing your entire team in just one setting.
The Stream Tab. Another great communication tool within the system that you can use to not only communicate with your down line but also with your A2A connections.
The Chat feature. Use it to see who of your PSA/CSA is online at any one time. How? When you see a golden yellow button on the "Your movers" page then you know that they are available online. Click on it to send a request for a chat. I use it often and it works alright.
Use both the PSA and CSA Mailer
This is great for sending TM every week. For me some of my Affiliates have once told me that whenever I didn't communicate with them through the PSA or CSA mailer, they felt like Orphans left alone in the dark. That shows they see, like and enjoy your posts. Use it carefully.
Your Leadership Page should inadvertently be able to communicate to your PSA and CSA any time about your goals, Best Tips, Success Plan etc. They should be able to look into your leadership page and get Inspired and motivated to work harder. It should be like a sign post pointing them to the right direction every time they are lost and that's a communication tool too
The Re-assignment manager
This works only when reassigning your PSA to PSA. You cannot reassign your PSA to your CSA and vice versa. Another Inadvertent communication tool. It communicates a good silent message to your hard working PSA that I am rewarding you for your diligence and hard work.
Coop Manager
The Coop Manager can help you communicate to your team by Inviting your entire down line to join a coop. The manager helps you monitor progress and provide guidance and feedback to your team about the Team Coop.
OUT OF SFI YOU CAN USE
Your own Blog
If you have a website like every successful SFI Team leader does then communication to your down line is not an issue. I can't emphasis enough the importance of having your own website. Every successful Online marketer I know has one and what is it's primary purpose? To communicate! Period!
Social Media sites
Giants like Facebook, Google+, Tweeter, LinkedIn are all proven and effective communication platforms that you can use to communicate to your team often. Good news! They don't cost a dime!
Do Webinars/Video conferencing
If you know how to do a webinar you will achieve great satisfaction from the trust your team puts upon you. For webinars try using Google chat or Skype. Even some WP plugins can now help you do unlimited webinars for free. So go ahead and put your face to your E-mails and chats
HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU COMMUNICATE?
I would say as often as your team is comfortable hearing from you. Please don't spam them with greedy EA upgrades. Usually 3 times a week should do just fine.
Here's what Gery said- There's an old saying that people don't care what you say until they know you care, and it applies perfectly here. If your affiliates get the impression in any way that you just want to "make money off them," they're going to resent you, and they're not going to want to do anything to help you, which would of course include upgrading.
So Help Your Team to Help Yourself.
