Hi there -
This is in fact a sore subject and unfortunately it does happen too frequently.
It's a first impression that be quite misleading. But then again, I personally
don't get many requests or notification from my new PSA's.
As a new affiliate it's extremely important to take the initiative by themselves.
The guidelines are clearly outlined by SFI and once the sponsor sees activity, the sponsor will be there.
Once the new affiliate gets a bit comfortable he/she will find their way to the FORUM.
It's a good way to learn and get unanswered questions problems resolved.
An affiliate should though first go through the TABS on their homepage and study
and when then questions arise or something is not completely understood, then ask for clarification in the Forum.
If the sponsor hasn't been in touch within 2 weeks time, then the best thing to do
is not to get discouraged with this new endeavor but to push oneself a bit harder.
Forum and a2a are there as supporting stations. If one is really serious, a non-responsive sponsor should not be a reason to think this is a bad set-up. There are hundreds of willing people trying to help.
And as I hope this has helped a bit as well.
