We are all faced with this responsibility of explaining to affiliates the reality of SFI business.

Affiliates have different expectations. When they signed up for free, many don't realise that they have just started their own business.

To help us explain to Affiliates about their SFI business, Gery Carson wrote this powerful guide: SFI Rules of Success No. 1- "Treat your business.. like a business". It is the No. 1 Rule in the 20 SFI Rules of Success, for a very important reason: to let us understand that SFI business is a real business, not a hobby. It requires investment, effort and commitment.

Without investment of time, effort and money SFI business will not grow, and it may disappoint those who are after earning quick bucks. so I would advice affiliates to have a realistic expectation that building a successful SFI business and earning a residual income is a long haul, will not happen overnight, but it will happen.

First of all, YOU need to approach SFI business realistically, and then others will follow your lead. If they see that you are acting professionally (e.g. when writing emails, your picture, your badges etc.) then they will act like you. Gerry's golden rule: Lead by example.

Second, when new PSAs join my team, I tell them right off the start that this isn't a quick rich scheme, but a real job. I also tell them that they have to work hard to earn, like in any other job. Which employer would pay you for not doing you job or doing it poorly? If they are looking for quick money than they picked the wrong job. Honestly, I doubt the sincerity of those so called quick-rich schemes.

If after everything you tried they still expect that, then just stick with those who are realistic about their expectations. People who want to get rich quickly usually expect to do nothing, but let's be honest, that is not a real life. Stick with those who work. Another Rule of Success: Work with Workers.

For team members, or affiliates that want to earn more quickly, you may show them the PPA (Paid Per Action) program.

You may also show them the ECA program or encourage them to advertise other's items through ECA and TripleClicks.

This will help them to make more money at a quicker rate.

Also, encourage them as they are earning money to start investing a little bit of their income back into the business, so they will have two ways to earn, long-term income as well as short-term income. With SFI it is possible to earn quickly (Short-Term-Income) as well as at a slower rate (Long-term-income).

Also, encourage them to read LaunchPad, where they can follow the lesson plans and earn while they earn, too.

Make sure they know if they are not ready to invest financially, until they start to make a profit...they are encouraged to invest time, and promote SFI through free ads, flyers, and other ways.

Also, introduce them to the Daily Grand Contest, the T-Time Contest, and other ways to earn cash and prizes, daily...appearently, they are in a hurry to make money...so, help them achieve their goals...it is possible to earn short-term income quickly, and at the same time, they can be learning about the long-term income opportunities, as well.

Also, be sure to mention the Better Business Bureau Ratings SFI has earned by not being a scheme...not every business can earn this, inform them SFI is not a scam, or a fly-by-night company. It is a real business. It has its rewards, and members should be proud to be part of a reputable company.

Those that like to make money at a quicker rate could be viewed as ambitious, and fast-starters, too.

Once you help them achieve their goals, they will help teach others all the skills they have learned through LaunchPad, and encouragement.

Just be sure to teach them both ways to earn short-term income, and long-term income. As long as they are making short-term income the same time, they will also learn how important it is to be patient, as they will see how dependable both streams of income could be, see the Better Business Bureau Rating, see how long SFI has been around, and eventually begin to trust SFI, and learn it is a real business, and start to be successful in achieving their goals.

First of all, show yourself as an example. I suggest my all team to concentrate on expanding your business initially. Do not stuck on earning in starting months.

As SFI is free to join, This may be the reason, people do not show much commitment towards it. I tell my affiliates, treat it as a golden opportunity. Most of the time we complain about the lack of resources. But here you will find everything on the same page. You have SFI Forum , Your Sponsor, Your co-sponsor, ASK SC, and lots of brilliant training material. The only thing require here is your commitment.

The people who are earning thousands of dollars per month from SFI and people who quit from SFI; The difference in both category is only there thinking. The people in first category has treated it as business opportunity.

The most significant thing about SFI, It is 15 year old. It has its presence in more than 180 country. It has more than 2 millions affiliates. I think these magical numbers are enough to give a glimpse of this business empire.

In last, I suggest them to try it once. At least you should have a reason to quit from here. I have not found any single reason so far.

In my initial contact with new affiliates I stress to them that SFI is a real business opportunity. I want to impress upon them that SFI is a solid company with a track record that shows stability and honesty and is here to stay.

I also let them know that it takes time to build a successful business and that this success will not come overnight. It takes work and patience and dedication. I stress to them the importance of logging on to their account everyday, and doing the daily tasks. This gets them in the habit of working the business.

I tell them of the importance of reading and learning from all of the information that is available to them for free. If they were to buy the information found in their backoffice it would literally cost them hundreds of dollars.

I also tell them that they have a sponsor and co-sponsor who are interested in them. Their sponsor will help them be successful.

This is a great question, as the challenge is not only within SFI but all over the world that people have a hard time with delayed response/delayed gratification.

The need to have immediate gratificaiton is a behaviour that is expressed by many so it it important to review with team members and other affiliates the importance of a slow, steady growth with SFI.

As has been reviewed in Forum Posts and other training material offered through SFI this is an on-going part of training and grooming of all affiliates.

It is important to model the benefits of delayed gratification to all your team members and look for stories shared by other affiliates who have proven to be successful with SFI.

SFI does not profess to state instant millions over night but does present itself as a vehicle to help peopel to acheive their dreams - SFI has the plan and just needs the workers to put in a steady commitment to grwoth.

SFI does work and simply needs to be shared with everyone that the financial success acheived with SFI is based on commitment and consistency.

You need to make sure that your affiliates are 100% motivated to do the job. Motivation is a realistic approach to any job.

Tell them your story. How long did it take for you and what methods did you use to achieve your goals.

Try to attract them with a compensation that makes a difference in their lives (if your budget allows it). You know, Tcredits, Triple Clicks gift cards or involve them in your Co op manager system. They certainly will appreciate that.

You should provide affiliates with a copy-and-paste solution for every question they might have. They need to know you rule the knowledge at SFI and that you have made an extra effort to resolve every oncoming problem.

Use competitions with interesting prizes to win. This will most certainly convince your affilliates that behind all what YOU are doing is a job that brings a realistic benefit.

Send them useful information and promo tools on a regularly basis.

Nice question. In my opinion,when recruiting afflilates whether through facebook,twitter or by word of mouth,i let them know that its a business that is flexible,free to join,a place to advertise their products for sale and a place to learn.

I also let them know that they are in charge of their business and that a little investment is necessary for their business to afloat. I let them know that if they have a shop,they open to customers Monday-Friday from 07.00am-17.00pm. Likewise on SFI, all you need is an internet enabled phone or computer to log on daily,view red Tabs and check latest item on tripleclicks/your online shop on tripleclicks. With this in mind,they are fully aware from the onset that its not a get rich scheme.

Its only logical that anyone who has a business would not want to invest in his/her business regardless of the capital involved.

Asides that,any business you start would not immediately yield profit until the 6th month. So with SFI,you can immediately start earning if you have a formidable team or gradually build a team and start earning a life time commission from both your PSA/CSA.

Hi Ester,

The most important thing is to remain crystal clear to your downline throughout their journey & be totally authentic in your approach.

It starts right from the beginning, that is even before an affiliate joins your team. When you prepare your advertising contents(or maybe someone else preparing for you), you should be very much aware of it, it shouldn't contain facts like - eg. totally free, no investments, get rich quickly etc. This kind of catchy contents will get you a lot of response but those won't be the one's that you really need to build a big sustainable team.

So you should be using reasonable, authentic & fact-full contents in your advertisement to hit the right segment, the response might be less initially but the one's you convince will be there for you help & build your team by duplicating your efforts for a long term.

Theirs always a lot of people who'll keep on asking, how much I'll get per month. I'm providing a sample content to handle the queries of those individuals :

This depends on the information you gave your affiliates that made them to join the business. Some people prefer painting the SFI business as a get-rich-quick scheme just to attract more signups to themselves not knowing the consequences that follows when the affiliates finds out that it is what they thought it would be.

Let them know that they need to work to earn the income they make. You can channel them to the exciting income streams that SFI has to offer. Tell them that just like in every business, that they need to invest both their time and money into the business to grow it.

Let them also exercise some patience and nurture their business until it grows to something big. As any honest business can not be succeessful overnight. Above all, lead them by example, always teach them what you have done and not what you are yet to do so as to have full knowledge of it which you can then impart to them.
