You already have an TConnect Page to use to advertise.
I am a webdesigner myself and can understand why some will want to do it.

I found the best program to use is a website builder/creator. Like WIX or your ISP's own website builder. Choose a good domain name as it is also like a searching keyword in search engines.
Very important is the keywords. Organic keywords take time to make it rounds to get good ranking. Others like PPC is quicker but cost extra although you can budget for it.

Use nice 2 - 3 colours and make it easy to navigate through the website.

Then advertise as much as you can on advert sites or let one of the ECA's advertise the website link for you.

Website creating can be time consuming. I would suggest to plan it first on piece of paper and then design it.

My advice for someone who "wants to create their own SFI website" begins with a question: "Why do you want to do that when you already have the dynamic SFI Affiliates' website?"

Your SFI membership GIVES you 1) training 2) loads of banners and splash pages 3) a Leadership Blog Page 4) a Social Networking Page = A2A and Much Much more.

If you must have your own website, create a weblog site at Blogger.com which is owned by Google. Google tends to favor websites which are Google oriented. Besides, it is FREE.

Choose a name for the site that is KEY WORD RICH. Think of the most obvious terms one would use when doing a Google Search for a 'successful home based business'. Use those key words in your blog entries.

Submit a post to your blog at least once a week.

When you do a posting ALWAYS include a link to one of your gateway pages. NEVER include links that point AWAY from your SFI or TripleClick pages.

Finally, if you create a blog, be sure to submit your URL for that blog to the Google search engine. (See: http://www.wikihow.com/Add-Your-URL-to-Google) That way you are requesting the "google-bots" to 'please crawl my website and all the links within my website'. The google-bots will crawl everything in your sites to see if there is any new information in there. If they find new stuff they will rank you higher and someday you will wind up on the first page of Google for those people who search using your key words.

And, oh yes, tell your friends at Facebook etc., etc. that you have a blog at http://www.yoursitename.blogspot.com

The first thing you need to ask yourself , is the goal - to be the purpose of the site / blog .... promotion, information, advertising, general or personal opinion ...


When you need something to promote, advertise and awaken the need for it , you need not only basic knowledge about the subject , but really systematic knowledge or at least know who knows it, or where it can be found ...


There are many free platforms to create website or blog - Wix, Weebly, Google blogger, and you really need a minimum of knowledge in this field to get the job well done ...


It is important to follow the rules of appointment of professional web design .... For example, if you create a business website / blog using the most blue ... If promote healthy food and nutrition, green ... And so on ... Not because it is an absolute rule which must be respected, but simply to create a visual sensation of a potential client, the targeted users know at a glance what it is ...


All this is pretty general , but advice should be such. To continue, you need your creativity, for which no one can give you advice.

Any affiliate who want to create their own website is definitely serious about their SFI business. This affiliate is ready to be successful in SFI. Creating your own website for your SFI business is a sign of independence, entrepreneurship, and ambition. This affiliate will need support from his/her upline; constant coaching will be required of the sponsor/co-sponsor to make sure that the affiliate has set up their website correctly and appropriately. Maintaining an website is never an easy task. You need to think of many sections. Here are some suggestions I would like to give the affiliate who wants to maintain an own SFI website

1. Must create different pages on the website for SFI, Tripleclicks Products, Pricebender auctions and Ecommerce associate.

Creating a website can be an exciting experience. SFI offers many was to help make the process easier and less expensive.
There are several ways to obtain a Custom Prestige Domain. You can buy one at TripleClicks, or win one in a Price Bender's auction or in the Daily Grand drawing.
There are several ECA's on TripleClicks who can help with everything from hosting to set up to maintaining the finished product.
Using the available (free) squeeze pages and banners will save time and money. Plus, you get the advantage of knowing they are tested and WORK! Also, these lead back to your gateways, so you get credit for sales and PSA sign us.
Be sure to add a blog page and a forum to give life and interaction to your page. Try to update your blog at least weekly, and post the subject line with the URL on Twitter and Facebook to draw in new visitors.
Make sure you allow enough time each day and to answer questions and update your site with the latest SFI news.

There is only one benefit I can think of for having your own website instead of using the Gateway site provided in SFI. That would be that you can connect that website to your own autoresponder and list builder, and then the leads you gather would be on your own personal list.

For now, I am perfectly happy with the Gateway links and the Capture Pages in SFI. All the leads I have generated and the traffic I have had to SFI came through one of the existing Gateways.

I have a website apart from SFI and my challenge is to keep it up and make the changes I need to make in the limited time I have to work my business.

I love to build websites and toy with different ideas to make the site attractive, but that activity does not produce income. The income I am looking for comes by creating ads and posting the ads, and then doing the follow-up with the new prospects.

So, should anyone create their own website? I would say they might want to do that after they have reached a reasonable level of success, whatever that is for each individual.

This is a very good idea!

Opening their own site will get them many PSAs an PRMs,
but only if they do it wright.

First of all they have to carefuly chose colors and design.
Design of this sit must be also motivating,
and colors got to be bright, and with clear focus.

Font needs to be readable, and it's color got to be in contrast with background.

Message has to be motivating and original.
Messages like:
"EARN MONEY FROM YOUR HOME", or "THIS TIME NEXT YEAR YOU'LL BE MILONAIRE"
are repeated thousands times on internet, and wouldn't atract nobody.

Then you have to atract people to see your site.
You can achieve that by exchanging banners with sites with similar orientation.
Or by spreading the word among your friends and family.
You can also print your URL adress as QR code, print it on well designed posters,
wich you can put on places like bus stations, or boards for this purpose.

ONLY LIMIT IS YOUR IMAGINATION

I'm sure that results would be awsome.

I would tell them all to treat SFI as a long term goal. Having your own ECA website is such a bonus. I use mine to send posts every 2-3 days, they are then seen in the stream tab at SFI.
My ECA website was a god send. After the Christchurch earthquakes I decided not to reopen another store instead I transferred my shop to Triple Clicks.

I do not expect to be earning a gold mine straight away. I know it takes time plus duplication, promoting and most important communication to be successful.
I am starting to create quite a snowball effect, growing bigger and stronger day by day.

Also state that it is very important to connect with A2A members that are in your local community, inviting them to do a little shopping at your store. I also offer incentives and rewards.

For those who have the know-how of making a good professional website - I would support them fully. Maybe you can offer to proofread the text for them, or ask other people to comment on it and improve it.

For those who have never done it before -advise them to try with a blog instead. Blogs are easier to make and maintain, and they are completely free. While their blog is promoting for them, they could focus on learning about website design. When they feel ready to make a great website, they can.
