I am relatively new to SFI so, while I have a downline, it is made up of affiliates who have also recently joined SFI. I am presently rewarding affiliates who reach EA status for the first time with a $10 Gift Certificate. As time goes on I intend to offer a $20 Gift Certificate to those who become Bronze Team Leaders and then a $30 Gift Certificate to Silver Team Leaders and so on until they reach Platinum status.

Hello.Greetings.
To be frank,the best way is to encourage them with a "Gift certificate".
Generally to become an EA is very easy by doing a few tasks.But in the matter of EA2,one should spend some money or generate sales.
In the world of internet,people used to see or listen about the frauds happening in the internet business.So to inculcate hope amoung them,Gift certificate is the best way.

First I let them know
how important it is to become EA

Then I advise them to do their very best,do not miss 1 day
of logging in and doing the daily to do list

I tell them to play the T Time and PTP contest
to try to win T Credits so they can bid on the auctions

Make sure they send out team mail every week

And when they get close and I see that they are really trying
And have done all they can .

First of all we should face the fact that very few down liners will log in let alone become an EA.

Therefore, I would suggest you should let them know as a sponsor what they should do daily/weekly/monthly actions and see also if they are doing it. If not send them a reminder what is the problem for not doing it. Even after the reminder send them a letter how they could collect free VP points easily.

The most effective promotion/incentive i have offered my down line to re-qualify as an EA
are

1)T Credits
2)Advise them to partake in T-Time daily order to win 2 daily T Credits in the hourly game.
3)Those that are my real movers are re-assigned PSAs in order to boost their weekly VPs and income.
4)I also advise them to always get the daily free 11 VPs from the To Do List in order to qualify for the Daily Grand Draw for a chance to win more T Credits and VPs .

The most effective promotion/incentive I have offered my downline to become (or requalify as) an EA is to give out Gift Certificates and T Credits to committed and dedicated members.
This has helped them a lot both financially and otherwise. It also serve as an excellent tool in appreciating them for their hardwork.
It goes a long way to encourage them to strive for more rewards and it also make them feel at home knowing fully well that I am always there for them.

I think if your financial is ok, gift card or TC transfer are the best, But if not then do reassignment. But be a habit to give this way for me this will turn them to be dependent on you. As every time if you offering them such way they will rely on you every time they have shortage VPs. And once they feel some difficulties this will goes to frustration. This is a good question. I my self have used t-credits for a reward,because you can use them at the auction, and use them to make purchases.
Also if they have a downline they can use the t-credits to reward or motivate their downline. Another good thing you can do is to give a few of your own psa's to help motivate them and help them get their downline going,including the 30 extra points they can get each week. Remember that different people would be interested in different things.
Some would be interested in TCredits,
some in geting new Affiliates,
some would love Gift Certificates.

Maybe it would be clever to make some kind of poll
to recognize who is interested in what.

When You see the results, it would be easier
to plan incentives for Your team.

You both make a relation with Your team
and You can offer best rewards fo their activity.

I offered everyone a gift certificate that was consistently working their business, doing daily activities, advertising, signing up affiliates, and kept in communication with me so that I knew how serious about their business they were. They could then use the gift certificate at the end of the month to buy a product at TripleClicks that would give them the needed VersaPoints to reach EA level. I encouraged them to buy something that would help them grow their business such as IAHBE.
