What is the most effective promotion/incentive you have offered your downline to become (or requalify as) an EA?

I offered everyone a gift certificate that was consistently working their business, doing daily activities, advertising, signing up affiliates, and kept in communication with me so that I knew how serious about their business they were. They could then use the gift certificate at the end of the month to buy a product at TripleClicks that would give them the needed VersaPoints to reach EA level. I encouraged them to buy something that would help them grow their business such as IAHBE.
How to reapproach both my warm and cold markets about SFI--when I've already approached them previously with another opportunity before joining SFI?

Give them a Triple Clicks gift card and get them interested in the products and the penny auctions first, then follow-up with them about how they used the gift card and how they liked it. Then you can share with them about the business side and how you enjoy having your own business and making your own hours. Give them information gradually , less is more. If you talk too much you can talk them out of it. Then even if they don’t join the business you still have them for a customer.
What kinds of investments should a new affiliate plan on making to succeed in SFI?

The biggest investment they will make is their time. Even that depends on what their goals are. The bigger the goals the more time invested. But as my mamma always told me work smarter not harder. The way to do that is to reach groups at one time such as a PBR or Private Business Reception, where you invite a group of people, could be friends and family, or strangers, to a meeting at your house or a coffee shop and present SFI to them. You can have different meetings, one for recruiting affiliates, one for potential ECA members, and one for Tripleclicks product sales. That way you are not spending a lot of time driving around talking to one person at a time. If you are inpatient like myself you can set up a standing order that will give you 1500 VP's so you are guaranteed at least EA status every month, which for me was the IAHBE because then I felt like I was investing in my business with something that would help me grow my business. That is where the working smart part comes in. I do not encourage a big financial investment because then you add stress to the situation trying to recoup the money you had invested. Think FUN-Familytime, U-Ucandoit, N-Neverquit.

How can you offer financial support to a hard-working PSA/CSA who is truly financially challenged?

I have come to realize that most people who start a business with SFI are doing so to earn extra money and hoping to build a business that will give them a better future than the nine to five job that they may have or recently got laid off from. So they may not have the extra money to invest in their business at this time. So what I do is watch the people on my mover's list and see if they have persistence and ambition by the work they are doing. Then if they have done their daily activities consistently and worked their business diligently then I put money into their gift certificate account so they can purchase whatever will give them the rest of the VersaPoints they need to make EA. Once they have achieved EA status that gives them a reason to work even harder the next month to to get EA2 level. They also have learned that you are serious about helping them succeed, it is not just a bunch of empty words. Then you have also showed them something they can eventually duplicate to help their team which will end up building a solid group of dedicated hardworking team members.

How can I convince my downline of the benefits of having a Standing Order without them feeling pressured?

You lead by example. You have to have a standing order, then you can teach them about duplication and how you having a standing order that gives you 1500 VersaPoints each month gives you more time to build your team and place ads without worrying about making EA. You also show them all the other ways you have become involved with your business by earning badges and showing them how much fun working your business can be. Always be there to encourage and support them and you let them know that you are by sending emails and teammail letters to them. Build a relationship and trust then they will not even feel pressured but they will feel you care about their success.

What's the best way to approach a new PSA with regards to discussing their goals with them?

I use the stream post to find out information from my PSA's and CSA's for instance today I asked them to give me one way to get 1500 VP's the fastest. That way it gets them to look up information and learn and I also know who is doing their daily activities. So you could also each time you post ask them to write one of their goals, that way it is a team activity which helps increase the momentum of the team, but you as the team leader get to know all of their goals and then you will be able to ask them how you can help them reach those goals. As a team leader you should never be afraid to ask your team questions that will help them be successful and you should never be afraid to share your goals with them also as they may have suggestions for you. TEAM work is the key to success.
