Hello there. My apologies, but I think before you develop the trust, it should be earned first. Anyway, here is my opinion:
Be the man/woman. I mean, they will not trust you if they do not see you worth their trust. Be a good example to them. Let them see you as someone who started as AFF, that thru dedication and patience, not to mention a strong belief in the SFI policy and system, had slowly started to make your climb to the top, and that you can, and will, bring them with you. Show them how this should be done, specially to those that are just starting here in our field. Be in constant contact with the team by any means. Make them feel that they can contact you for anything.
Lastly, I think it's just me, but, I do not consider myself a leader to the team, but rather I see myself a member of the team who knows, and is willing to share it to the team. Thank you.

Post to your blog, post in the Stream page, send out team mails.
If you have no CSAs to send out to, you need to get out some ads to build your traffic, or... get an S-Builder Co-op share and get enough VP to become EA. You earn points when you send email to your team.
Learn from the training pages, then after reviewing them, pay attention to the questions in Ask SC, you will learn more advanced issues and remedies while you earn points.
As you perform these actions, pay attention to your posture. Use the best grammar you know how, check your spelling begin typing into the search bar and the word or phrase should pop up. ~*~

You should understand that SFI and other multi-level marketing is based on relationship.
Therefore, to build trust, you should treat all your sponsored affiliates and referred members as a friend and colleague, not as an object of achieving only your own desire.
Therefore it is your duty to love and care for them with respect to their business, imagine the relationship between a mother and her babby, thats a perfect way to build trust and leadership, by so doing, you are not only leading them by example but at the same time you are investing in them, off course that's the greatest of all investment - Investing in your fellow being; this not only make you successful, but also makes you an awesome sponsor.

Honesty is the best Policy.Be honest & tell them the truth.
Tell them it is not a get quick rich scheme or form filling or email reading or survey scheme.
Tell them they will not be paid per hour.
Tell them that starting is free but you will not go very far if you do not spend at all.
Tell them to be patient & go through the STAR,SFIBASICS & LAUNCHPAD lessons.
If they are still interested,tell them that you are always available for any guidance needed
Be honest, provide your affiliates with the steps to get started, be there to answer questions and offer assistance. Let them know what works for you and be encouraging through praise, inspiration, ideas and tips. Let them know they must work at the business to become successful, but you are always willing to help in any way you can.
You need to be confident in what you tell your team and always be honest. If a PSA/CSA in my downline ask me a question that I don't know the answer to I first try to research it to find the answer. If I can't then I give them the information I found and tell them that I would submit a support ticket with the question or post it on the forum for a better answer. Additionally, having contest for your team and promoting your top movers go along way to building a strong team that trust you.
