While you should focus your attention on the movers in your group, you should maintain communication with everyone through your weekly group messages. This helps you stay in contact with everyone without having to spend too much energy on people who are not responding for some reason.

I think the important part to remember is that everybody experiences "dry" seasons where they are not as active as they should be. The people who are not responding may not be ready to get moving yet or they may be overwhelmed to the point where they don't know how to proceed. Don't assume that inactivity equals losing interest because even those who decided to put SFI on the shelf may end up coming back to give it another try. I am an example of that kind of person.

A couple of years ago, I got frustrated and gave up. I deleted my account and decided to move on. However, after a cooling off period, I decided to try it again and the people at SFI reinstated my account. This time around, I am definitely more active and the results have been great! So don't give up on anybody because you just never know who your next leader will be.

Thanks. About some CSA not responding to our messages. I think the best thing we can always do is to keep mailing them and teaching them what SFI is all about. They can be captivated by your messages when they understand what SFI is all about and how they can benefit from the business and to your suprise they will some day log in! We should know that it is not easy to understand SFI especially when you sign up from an advert and not being tutored personally by an established SFI sponsor. The co-sponsor affiliate needs that tutor. Dont give up on them. Thanks.

When should you give up on CSAs depends on you. If you have not done what you need to do then why should you expect them to work when you haven't. However, if you have then realize that there is always planting season, then the growing season, then the harvest. Too many of us are looking for a harvest when we have not allowed adequate time for growth.

I was inactive for 3 years! I do not say this proudly but sometimes life does get in the way. Everyone has ups and downs. Think outside of the box in ways to offer your assistance and in some cases you will reap the rewards of your labor. Every farmer knows that you will get a harvest but never 100%. First, here’s an obvious answer. Then, I suggest the real reason why you should keep everyone in your downline as long as they are willing to be there.

First: Why would you want to? You create a team message to go to your PSAs, your CSAs, or both. Does it take longer to create because it will go to someone who doesn't respond or do anything? No. It takes the same amount of time to create your weekly message/newsletter, regardless who you sent it to.

Does it take longer to send to the inactive affiliates? No. You simply select "all" and send your message to the actives and the non-actives. Actually, it takes a few seconds longer, just to filter out the non-active affiliates.

Then: Why would you want to give up? When you send weekly messages, you want the largest group of people possible to send those messages to. Wouldn't you rather send to 1000, than to 100? Say "yes". Okay, here's why:

Messages are made of words. Words convey information, emotion, and pictures. They create interest, arouse thought, and tell the reader what you want him/her to do. The more people you send that message to, the more opportunities you have to get the message read. The more messages you get read, the more people are likely to remember you, and become interested in what you have to say. The more they remember you and become interested in what you have to say, the more likely it is that they will give some thought about what you are saying.

You want people to think about what you are saying. While people buy (and sign up for free offers) for emotional reasons, they need positive information to support why they did it. They will not become consistent workers until they feel what’s in it for them is valuable. That's where the information you have been sending comes in, as well as the long wait you have endured.

The other advantage of having many people to send messages is that you also have to write a subject line. That subject line may well determine whether your message is opened. If it's not opened, your message won't be read.

In conclusion, keep everyone until they leave. Hone your word skills in your message, and in your subject line. The more people that see it, the more response you get. Not responding is a response in marketing. No response means you didn't hit the right nerve, today, for them. More people mean more opportunities to hit the nerve that they will respond to today.

The best answer to your question is that you should give up on non-active CSAs when they are removed from the system due to inactivity. In other words NEVER GIVE UP!!! It may take months but eventually you will reach people who say "Hey maybe I should give this program another chance."

Karen Vaters, you must not GIVE UP, just keep sending them the messages and the day will come when they will response you, I myself left without knowing SFI, but after 3 years one of my friend told me about it.. and now I m big fan of SFI, and left all other online programs, but only SFI is my business know.. I never knew it will happen, so keep sending your messages and opinion, this is an other case if they opt out naturally. Hope it will work,

that’s IF…they would all give themselves to SFI, as in being devoted and keeping motivated all the time.

Now, the big ? Team Leaders normally ask, revolving somewhere inside their minds, is…
“What am I gonna do? Some of my PSAs or CSAs do not even bother themselves to contribute atleast a
little as 5 minutes a day! It’s kinda normal reaction for Team Leader like us to react that way, knowing that
our SUCCESS is merely lying on them, how important they are to us is obviously known by us, but what they
do not know, is how important also we are to them, as we are a team, and a team stands for
“together everyone, achieves more”…(based on 1 of the template message greetings in Leadership Page).

Now, we have emphasized the problem, the importance of each other being a team, the great
impact if 1 letter in a team will be lost, and the realization of the possibilities that will come on our way
in our SFI career. As I have said awhile ago, despite of a big number of affiliates you have on your generation,
will be an empty investment if some or most of them had just been carried away of the trend in signing ups
without the built-in desire prior to joining. They maybe inactive or silent for some time, but you as a Team Leader
MUST never give up to keep on pursuing them, until they have come to the point of seeing your perseverance
to guide them, until the bulb lights up on their minds that you’re not simply doing this to deceive people
to join your team, but how important the SFI business will do good for them, for their lives, that they are
important in a way of building up. Team will never be a team without “t, e, a, or m”.

But….the pursuance and perseverance of Team Leader is not unlimited…NOT UNLIMITED for those
affiliates who have been aged in silence, in inactivity…The most time a Team leader to try to do his/her
best effort to enlighten them, one month as the longest. That one month is enough for an affiliate to realize
the goodness of a lifetime SFI is presenting to them. I guess they’ve may be other plans for their future, and
it’s time for the Team Leader to let go of them…move on and spend your worthy time to others waiting
and persisting to raise their status in life. Build your team again, replace the lost “t, e, a, m”……. with
T…E…A… M - thus making it a bigger, bolder TEAM.

A good question, which deserves the best answer I can give. Simply it's like this, being a team leader is like being a teacher, coach, counsellor and the person to kick some butt if its needed. Each role is different from the rest yet necessary for the role. As a teacher, you try and instil the relevant knowledge needed to utilise the persons stimuli, in order to set the foundation or groundwork needed on which the business is to be built.The coach, takes the task of putting that knowledge into play, strengthening the skills with techniques and strategies concerning how the building blocks are to be laid.
In all businesses, things happen that sometimes causes stress, anxiety and the feeling of despair. This is where you as a leader, really shine. By mentoring and counselling that person through his moment of trouble and help steer him back into the right direction.
So when do you set them free? You don't. They are your team for better or worse until they decide to opt out. Ah! But what about kicking them into shape? Again you don't. This will not achieve any thing good except resentment. When I used that term earlier, it was to see if you would continue to read to the end. This is where you really gain that special edge that keeps you at the top. When growing up the fear of a lashing kept me in line, ... Even though it never came, I didn't pursue it..... Get the picture?

Well, anybody that has seriously read through the LaunchPad and has a firm grip on the SFI business idea will most definitely tell you to never give up on anybody. While I do agree with that statement, you have to understand that giving everyone 100% of your time and support is not a wise way to start your business. Allow me to elaborate on that a little bit before you guys start bashing on me.

Now let's say you have an active CSA who maintains their EA / TL rank and is intensely learning everything there is to know about SFI. It's those affiliate you'll want to spend your time and support on. Chatting with them, sending a personal email every once in a while, checking up on them, etc. Doing those actions to active member may be time consuming but it will get you somewhere in the long run.

Okay, let's turn our attention to inactive CSA's of your SFI group. Do you really want to spend time sending them personal emails? Do you really want to go out of your way to try and contact them so you can chat and introduce the SFI business idea? Personally, I say no because you can use that time to do other tasks that are more proficient with regards to the advancement of your SFI business. HOWEVER, at the start of this essay long answer, I also did mention that I do somewhat agree to never ever giving up on inactive CSA's. So here's what I do. Basically, I always include them on my weekly newsletters where I write encouraging stuff about SFI. I post our growth numbers, I praise my EA's / TL's and above all else, I stress that SFI is a fun business. Those inactive CSA's might ignore my newsletters for weeks or even months but one day, the curiosity bug will hit them and they will open my newsletter. After all, they will be thinking to themselves "who is this guy sending emails every week? what does he want?". And as long as the theme of my newsletters stay the same (positive stuff about SFI), I do believe they will become active at some point. And when that time comes, you can bet that I will be supporting them 100%.

When to give up on or our CSA's? Not until they opt out or you can not longer keep them because you are not able to maintain your EA status.

You may give up the personalized individual communication but keep him in your general communication. Because in reality there are so many reasons why they don't respond or do something.
1) They might be facing personal problems. Who can attend to SFI if you are battling with a recent divorce for example?
2) There are just people who are slow learners.
3) They are sick
4) they are full convince yet that its worth the time.
5) They might in assignment where no internet connection.

We think of so many reasons... Just keep them there your genealogy because the reality is you can not also remove them from your list hehehehe..
