I was once in your situation when I received my first few affiliates. What I would suggest is that you ease into it naturally. Your communication skills don't necessarily have to be the greatest. Just communicate what's in your heart to your downline and give them some encouraging and endearing words. I guarantee you that you'll be a great sponsor.

And if need be, give your affiliates an extra push to get them on your way. You'd want feedback from them, so you'd have to reciprocate

My guess is your better than you think at communicating.

To me being a good sponsor is all about sharing your experience with your team. You have learned lessons on what to do and what not to do. Help your team not to make the same mistakes. No one has all of the answers.

There are plenty of resources available to help you communicate with your team. For example, anytime you receive a message from your upline, you can use the content for messages to your PSAs/CSAs. You can do this with newsletters, announcements, and any other communications you receive from SFI.

Along with content for your messages, you can practice communication by exploring the forum on a regular basis. Read through the posts and see how people interact and that will help you. Remember

You can become a good supporting sponsor with the use of google translators for ease of communication with the Affiliate in question. Especially if English is not the major language for the affilate. With that, not only are you making the affiliate trust you, but at the same time, it would make communication easier and simple.

Communication brings about trust and build ones confidence.

Always be willing to break the ice, its a lot easier and makes communication seamless.

I am assuming you can speak and write reasonable English?
Firstly, if English is not your first language, then I would check out some online or community college classes in your area to improve your skills. That will be of value to you even if you ultimately decide that SFI is not for you.

Being a good sponsor plays the biggest role.
When your team is in need of you and you are there for them, it should partially compensate for the lack or limit effectiveness of the communication skills.

As an SFIer, I believe that you are staying in the community in order to reach something and to claim and be proud of your achievements.
Your down line or team should have a similar goal or outcome that they would like to reach.

In my opinion, the most important skill that you need as a sponsor
is the ability to show that you care and that you are willing to help them.
All other skills that you need including communication can be learned.

There have been many sponsors in SFI facing the same problem. But there is nothing to be worried about this as the current technology easily solves this problem.

1. Use video chat provided by Skype, Google or anything else to solve this. My first suggestion would be to do some videos. Just talk to the video like you're talking to a friend. Let your enthusiasm show through.

You can talk about different aspects of SFI, areas that you feel are important, address some concerns you think your team has, and at the end, ask them to respond and ask questions.

Let them know you'll answer their questions in the next video.

Once your video is done, upload it to YouTube and add a link to your blog or SFI landing

The best advertisement for your business is you.To communicate with your affiliates I would recommend total honesty. Tell them about your experiences, what you have done that works for you and what does not.I also find explaining that SFI is not a get rich quick scheme filters out those affiliates that are truly interested and those who are not.Once you have expressed your experience truthfully, your team will respect you and want to hear what you have to say.No matter how simple the writing.
