News PSAs join this business with different objectives and expectations, so the methods of getting them committed may not be the same across board, however, on a general note you may need the following tips:
1. Very early experience with this online business matters a lot, so do the best you can as a sponsor to answer initial questions and queries of your PSAs as they navigate the site as new members. This early contact may be able to smoothen some initial rough areas and consequently build confidence on the part of your new PSA going forward.
2. As new PSAs they may be confused and overwhelmed by information overload and to avoid this, you as sponsor need to guide and assist them to understand the various aspects of the SFI business model, taking them through it in a chronological order of step by step approach and
always remember to Keep It Simple And Stupid (KISS).
3. Pay more attention highlighting the benefits of the SFI system and its structures, rather than over emphasizing spending on the part of your new PSAs. This will give the impression that the system has been designed for their benefits only if they take advantage, rather than to be exploited and as they progress, they will build more thrust with you and SFI. This thrust is necessary with some affiliates in order to commit their time and financial resources.
4. Where possible, create other avenues of communication and interaction like facebook, skype, local meetings or webinars. The purpose of this is to have some physical or virtual communication outside the usual SFI channel in order to bring the reality of existence among you and your new PSAs. This physical interaction may potentially improve their commitments as the powerful notion of 'seeing is believing' it brought to bear.
5. Commitment does not necessarily come through bullying, harassment, overzealous persistence or talking down on your new PSAs. So no matter how frustrated you are with their work ethics, you need to treat them with respect, dignity and like partners instead of your workers.
6. Tell your success story and thrive to be that inspirational influence your new PSAs aspire to, by leading by example. You may need to develop a possible and convincing part to success for your new PSAs to follow, using yourself as an example or a case study- duplication. An attainable and a convincing part to success is imperative to 'lock-in' the commitments of your PSAs.
7. Finally, you have to understand that your PSAs are not bound by one destiny, purpose or objective, so this diversity has to be recognised in your attempt to guide them. This may seem difficult as you may not have prior knowledge of their preferences, however, you may begin to develop a profile of them as you advance in your communication and interactions with them.
In conclusion, you have to recognise and accept the fact that no matter what you do or how far you try to guide and assist your new PSAs, a vast majority will not rise to the occasion for the simple reason that this business is not for everybody.
