very good question,There is no absolute answer to this ,First of all ,make yourself comfortable in a conversation ,start with asking about prospect's personal detail ,what he/she do in their free time,and slowly move in with what you are doing and wait for a sign,(eyes contact can know what kind of reactions they give out,)than proceed with the introductions of SFI.Just let the conversation be natural.,I hope this will help you ,Good Luck
First of all you can introduce yourself to your new contact through telephone,E mail or social net works if feasible.You may educate the person about the company,the objectives and the benefits he is likely to get in case he becomes an affiliate.Of course, this requires the cooperation of the contact too.If the person develops trust in you and believes that you are really going to help him he will definitely evince interest in the company.
I think that you don't need to improve this behaviour. You can just use an other mean such as:
1. posting ads on free ad websites and by facebook
2. distributing prospectives (in that case you don't need to make a presentation to people face to face; you just have to give answer to their questions may be by phone when they will call you).
It is always very difficult to change a behaviour, so it is better to reach your goal by other means.

Hi there. In answer to your question approaching people face to face is like anything else you are not comfortable with. The only way to get more comfortable is by doing it more,simple as that. Luckily you don't have to meet people face to face to build a team with SFI. You will need to contact people though.Communication is the key to this business because without it,you won't produce a team.

If your not good at approaching people face to face I think you could improve in this area if you read some personal development books to help with confidence .I would also try to work on your strength by finding online marketing strategy which is really the engine of our SFI business .
