TIPS & SHORTCUTS
1. Under the Basic tab, select "Generation" in the Sort drop down menu to display your records by generation level.
2. Reassigned Affiliates appear in blue highlight, Co-Sponsored Affiliates (CSAs) appear in green highlight.
3. Click a total in the VP(T) or VP(M) column to access that affiliate's PSA Ledger, which lists specific VersaPoints information for the PSA.
4. You can send a group (e-mail) message* to all or any segment of the affiliates in your Genealogy. Just pull up the group to which you wish to mail under any tab and with any sort and filter applied. Then, click the "Send an e-mail to this group" link located in the right side of the info box at the top of your Genealogy page.
NOTE: You can e-mail ALL of your affiliates who joined SFI after 08/30/11. For your affiliates who joined on or before 08/30/11, registration confirmation is required to e-mail them. To download your entire list of personally sponsored affiliates meeting these requirements, click HERE.
5. You'll notice two small icons to the right side of each affiliate on your Genealogy.
The first column contains a blue TeamMail icon (). Click this icon for a pop-up window that will allow you to send a TeamMail message directly to the individual affiliate's Message Center at the SFI Affiliate Center—no need to worry about overly sensitive e-mail spam filters or non-delivery! When the recipient logs in at SFI, they will see an alert about your message. And after reading the message, they can reply to you with a single click. NOTE: Group send (discussed in item #4 above) also sends a copy of your e-mail message to each affiliate's Message Center inbox.
The second column of envelope icons display only for your own PSAs and CSAs and appear in green, yellow, red, and white, indicating the affiliate's e-mail status.
- Affiliate's e-mail has been confirmed as good.
- Affiliate's e-mail is questionable (messages returned as undeliverable, likely for an impermanent reason: i.e. inbox was full, server was down temporarily, etc.).
- Affiliate's e-mail has been confirmed as undeliverable or invalid.
- Affiliate's e-mail has not been confirmed.
Clicking the envelope icon will prompt your e-mail browser to create and display a pre-addressed "compose new e-mail" window. Simply create and send an e-mail as you would normally. IMPORTANT: If you use an online e-mail provider (Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, etc.), this feature won't work for you. To send a message, you'll need to copy your affiliate's e-mail address displayed under the Communication tab into the "To" field in your online e-mail message window.
NOTE: For privacy protection, e-mail addresses of affiliates you did not refer or are not co-sponsoring are not revealed to you and no envelope icon will appear in this particular column.
6. To the right on your Genealogy pages, you'll also notice a column with a small "bubble" icon for each of your PSAs and CSAs. If your PSA or CSA has provided an IM handle and given you permission to contact him or her in the SFI account page, the bubble will appear gold (). Clicking that icon will bring up a small popup window containing the IM handle(s) for that person. A grey bubble () indicates your affiliate has either not entered IM information and/or not given your permission to contact him or her via IM.
NOTE: For privacy protection, IM handles of affiliates you did not refer or are not co-sponsoring are not revealed to you and no bubble icon will appear in this particular column.
7. On the far right side of each Genealogy page, you'll see a pencil icon () for each affiliate. Click it, and you'll see a popup with a note field for that particular affiliate. Notes are for your own private use and are viewable to you only. Just enter your note and click Save Note. Saved notes are indicated with a green pencil icon ().
8. Click a linked Affiliate name and you'll see his or her Affiliate Snapshot popup. This handy popup window contains an affiliate's photograph, name, location, VIP title and rank badges, Power Rank, Class Rank, Country Rank, Booster Club status, Fast-Track status, S-Builder Co-op status, and any personally submitted business tips. There's also a link to the Affiliate Manager for that affiliate if you're his/her sponsor or co-sponsor.
9. Identifying your leaders and up-and-coming leaders is critical to your success. Your Genealogy makes this task easy:
The Aff Mgr tab allows you to easily view information on your PSAs and CSAs within the Genealogy, including columns indicating those affiliates' Profile Scores (PS), as well as those who have completed their affiliate profiles (AP), set up a Standing Order (SO), confirmed their registration (CR), whitelisted (WL)
[email protected], and set goals (GS). TIP: Use the Profile Scores to, at a glance, identify those affiliates who may make great future leaders in your team--the higher the score, the better the affiliate's leadership potential!
The Sales tab makes it easy to view the number of TC Referrals each of your affiliates has to date, as well as the amount of sales VersaPoints (SPV) to date and for the current month.
This information you glean from these tabs give you a useful summary of actions your affiliates are taking and helps you identify those team members who are serious about their SFI business.
Additionally, you can use the filters to produce lists of affiliates with specific ranks or SVP greater or less than a given amount for the current month. You can then use the group message option to communicate with, help, and encourage these go-getters in your team.
10. To pull up everyone sponsored by a particular affiliate, use his or her SFI ID as a filter.
11. Save your own frequent search filters and/or sort combinations by clicking the Save Current As QuickFilter button after you have executed your search.
12. Consider this weekly or monthly exercise: Send out a message to those affiliates who have not yet begun to accumulate VersaPoints or who have not yet attained 100 VersaPoints. Don't "strong-arm" them! Identify yourself as a sponsor or upline team member and just tell them that you wanted to make sure they were aware of the benefits of accumulating points, and see if you can answer any questions they might have. Refer them to their SFI homepage (www.sfimg.com/Home) where they can view a to-do list and begin accumulating points.
Here are the steps for creating your mailing list:
A. Select the Affiliate Manager tab.
B. Select VersaPoints (Total) as your filter. Select the "less than" sign (<), and enter 100.
C. Click the small "Filter" button to submit your choice.
D. Click the "Send an e-mail to this group"* link and follow the directions there to send a message to this group.
13. Regularly check for affiliates who have not yet whitelisted SFI's e-mail address and send them a group message encouraging them to do so. Remember: although the group message may not go through to their e-mail inboxes, due to them not yet whitelisting SFI, a copy WILL appear in the affiliates' Message Center at the SFI Affiliate Center.
A. Select the Affiliate Manager tab.
B. Select "Added
[email protected] to Safe List" from the secondary filter list, choose "No," and click the Filter button.
C. Click the "Send an e-mail to this group"* link and follow the directions there to send a message to this group encouraging them to add
[email protected] to their e-mail's safe list. Be sure to reference this article in your message where your affiliates can get help doing this.
14. Send out a weekly newsletter to your group*. Click HERE for Gery Carson's column on how to create effective newsletters that will help you generate regular upgrades in your team.
15. Consider hosting a local SFI event to meet, brainstorm, plan co-op promotions, etc. Use the Geographic tab and using city, state, and/or country filters to find individuals in your region. Then use the "Send an e-mail to this group"* link to send each an invitation to get together.
