Many people come to SFI hoping for an easy way to make big money fast. In the beginning as they learn the business and earn a lot of VP, their thinking is that getting all these VP will net them a big pay out. What they fail to see is that there is no pay out until there are sales made.

In the very beginning when we welcome new members we need to stress that point. In business money is made as a result of sales. If new members get that picture in the very beginning they will stay with the program.

But the fact remains, no matter what we tell people or how hard we work to keep them in the business, a large percent will quit. The thing to remember that is stressed in the training is that if we can find 5 people who will work the business, and we help those 5 to get their five, and they then help their 5 get 5 and so on, our income will grow and we can make the money we need to reach our goal.

One last thing - Help others get what they want and in return we will get what we want.

While these people are active, no doubt you would be keeping an eye on things and connecting with them. If you are able to develop friendly and trusting relationships with them then, they would probably tell you their situations and that may alert you to possible future problems. You can then do something about them.

Monitor your peoples VP Ledgers especially in the 1st month. If they race through the 1st few days and collect all the available VPs at the Affiliate Centre, this to me normally spells problems. Those affiliates are probably those who are after the fast money and will probably not stick around for long after the 1st month. They will probably achieve Team Leader status but may not qualify for EA the following month. Get onto these people quickly. Develop the relationship I have mentioned before. Let them know the error of their ways and why. Make suggestions about promoting SFI and TripleClicks. Make them well aware of what could happen if they do not develop their affiliate teams or promote TripleClicks.

If they do not heed your suggestions, really there is nothing much you can do about it. Accept the fact that some people only join up for the quick money and if its not forthcoming they leave or simply give up an don't do anything else.

Have a look at the Opt-Out link. Read their comments there as to why they have opt out of SFI and where necessary adjust the way you do things.

For those that simply stop being active, just keep in contact with them and keep on encouraging them and talking to them about what to do. You never know they may become active again.

Unfortunately, we can not keep someone who has decided to go, but we can try to talk to him, find out what the problem is and the reason for that decision, and try to change it. Let's listen to reason and try to come up and offer solutions.

If the reason is that they do not have members or time for advertising, we can include them in the team Co op or they transfer some of their members.

If the reason is lack of money, we can offer one-time assistance in the form of Gift certificate.

If the reason is that they lack the knowledge to successfully perform the job, explain to them the importance of reading and learning, offer them Youtube videos (which actually has many) that can facilitate some parts of the job.

If the reason is that they were expecting earnings overnight, can not help it.

We can only offer our assistance, support and help, but they must want to do the job.
However, it is important to discuss and understand the reasons for such their decision, and we will be able to assess whether and how we can help, because it is, after all, their decisions and me that we can not do much.

There could be many reasons why some start off being active, than suddenly stop. You might never know the true reasons on why they stop.

What you could do is make sure that you are not being too pushy or demanding of one, to take the actions that you want them to do.

For everyone works at their own pace, which might not be what your pace might be.

Keep your communications down to about once a week. If you are constantly writing them on a daily or many times in one week, this could be annoying and their interest might float away.

By just letting them know that you are there for them when they need you, and if they are interested in working SFI, they will contact you with their questions.

Make sure that you do respond quickly to their mails, and do your best to find the answers that they are seeking. If you do not know the answer and cannot find the answer from the many resources available, than post in the forum and get back to them that you don't have the answer, but you are seeking some help to get them the answer as quickly as possible.

Do not push on having one get a Standing Order quickly. They must first learn a little bit about SFI before they might want to make any type of financial investment.

Be friendly and try to be informative the best you can. When you send your group mails, send the latest News updates to keep them informed in case they missed it, or your favorite quotes, or tips.

Check your Block list and see if anyone has blocked you and why, this might help you to improve where you might have been lacking.

If you do all you can to be the best sponsor that you can, and if they choose to leave, don't take it to heart.

This program is not for everyone, it is for the ones that want a change with their own situations and are willing to work for it.

The reason,in general,people quit is that they fail to earn money even though they are investing time,money and effort.

Your affiliates will stay when they start to earn more than they are spending.If you want them to stay you have to help them earn.

So,my suggestion would be:

1. learn your working members to generate TripleClicks sales before you even mention Standing Order
2. Invest at least 20% of your SFI/TC earningr into helping your downline.
3. Buy several units of S-Builder and start a co-op with your downline
4. When you target new members,try targeting mature people who will understand this business.
5. Learn them how to duplicate your work. Create a file with all things,sources,websites,tactics you use and give it to your downline to duplicate.

Too often here we focuse on "be" rather than "do" and give advice rather than instruction.Some of us can afford this venture-and some can't. Make sure you accept everyone's situation and show respect for it. Too often we motivate people to go beyond what they can and stretch too far to chase the dream,and that backfires.

When active people leave SFI Business, it means they somehow concluded it's not for them.

Most of our Team members (Affiliates) are, generally introduced by us into SFI Business.

While introducing them we know the back ground, attitude, commitment level to business, etc. When such people became active for some time and then suddenly decide to leave, certainly it will be discouraging.

However, we can still speak to them to understand as to why they opt out.

In most of these cases, it is observed that in the first month it was easy for them to gather 1500 Versa Points within a short period of time to become an Executive Affiliate.

But to retain that position in the following months, many affiliates find it difficult since it involves gathering 1500 points every month. For that, they have to either place a standing order by spending money or develop their own team comprising of PSAs etc.

When the team development doesn't take place & if they are forced to spend money without seeing any income soon, they tend to lose interest and decide to quit just like that thinking enough is enough.

It is here that as Sponsors, we need to stay in touch with them regularly, motivate them through Gift Cards, Transfer of TCredits, etc & try to retain them.

We should show them the gains and recognition we achieved through SFI Business We should explain to them the vast opportunities available by becoming a BTL and continuing with the business for a longer period.

In short, our success is the tangible proof for them to stick on to SFI Business & grow.

When we continue to do this, people will definitely remain within our Team & SFI Business.

There may be different reasons active people become inactive. Some reasons we can influence and some reasons we cannot influence.

The best thing a leader can do is to develop a personal rapport with each of the active member( Relationship). A leader should use all the communication tools possible to reach the active members regularly such as Team mail, personal mail, Phone, Social networking etc.

The next responsibility is to contribute in the success of the team member.

So if from the time we have a team, if we follow these responsibilities, we shall come to know the reason why the members are not active . In fact we shall come to know who is going to be active and who is going inactive.

Are we Supporting the MOVERS from our TEAM ? What sort of Personal rapport we have with them? Have we tried to develop it?

And I would say that even after our best efforts active people are lost, we need not be impatient.If we are so much worried about losing active people it means we are not sponsoring enough affiliates and we have some STOPPAGES in ourselves . We have to remove these stoppages and have to move ahead. The more we remove stoppages from ourselves the more productive we become and our productivity shall be reflected in our communication with the existing team members and overall position, ranking , badges and other activities of SFI and tripleclicks and ultimately our Income.

By losing people do you mean they opt out or are just inactive for some time?

Keep in mind that we all have personal lives out there. Something may have happened to your downline that prevented him from logging in for a while.

In my example, I have an active member who was suddenly quiet for some time. I finally sent an E-card asking if everything is alright. He replied back saying that his home was hit by a typhoon and he just got back eletricity to login.

Obviously he was gone again after that but I assume it was to get his personal life back together again before turning his focus back on SFI.

What can you do? Be a friend. Don't just concentrate on the business alone, but extend a hand of friendship. They may have gone into surgery, had an accident, and many other possibilities. It must be something really big to get an active affiliate suddenly not logging in.

Business is business but sometimes a friend is what you relly need.

First of all, when dealing with this type of marketing, you can always expect some level of attrition. This is related to one of several reasons, and this will determine what you can do to either "reactivate" the affiliate or let him or her go his or her own way.

1) Lack of compensation can seem fairly common here, especially given that VersaPoints are worth roughly half a cent each, some prizes are worth even less than that, and the challenge of getting others to spend money on TripleClicks merchandise, regardless of source, makes the commissions sometimes seem futile. If you can show these people how to use Member Listings or to build an ECA, they may find some value that way.

2) Lack of communication can leave an affiliate feeling rather alone; this sort of abandonment can lead to apathy and lack of motivation. This can be turned around with direct conversation and some unilateral incentives.

3) Lack of time can keep an affiliate too busy to return to SFI. Sometimes, this is valid, related to health issues, job issues, or family issues (or some combination thereof), but sometimes it's just about procrastination. In the former case, they may or may not return once the crisis has past; in the latter, it's just a question of refocusing attention.

There are certainly more complicated situations, from clinical depression to financial duress, each of which requires its own solution. Some of these solutions can be time-intensive, so you have to consider how much any given affiliate is worth in terms of time--there's only so much you can do. It's your call.

The best way to handle it is to get in contact with them (don't pester them, or spam them, just a simple email or facebook message if you are fb friends). Let them know that you are here to help them with their online business and their dreams of making residual income. That's the best thing to mention: the benefits of sticking with SFI. Reiterate that this is a real business and not a get rich quick scheme. Leave them ways to contact you at the end of your email.

If still nothing after a few weeks, send one last email, and then if still nothing, just let it go. SFI is not for everyone, and there is no reason to spend your time and energy on people that are not willing to put in the work.
