Whether you are distributing TC gift cards, W3 Cards, your SFI business cards, there is no substitute for a personal touch/contact in any business relationship. This is my strong belief.

When you meet the person and give them the TC Card, it has a better impact and you are able to explain and answer questions over a cup of coffee or drink. Hello. This is how I do that:
1. In person - when I give cards in person (which I most of time do), I am offering cards to some unknown people in mall or on places like that. I created a little "brochure" with link where they can activate their cards and tell them what they need to do and what they will get.

In my opinion both are effective only when the person issued with a gift card makes use of it.

TC Gift Card is a great way to promote TripleClicks. It can be distributed online to friends and families that you have an e-mail of. And in person is a good way too as the person receiving it gets a verbal instruction as to how to use it some times yes you can just hand it to them as they may not have time to discuss about it nevertheless the instructions on the card is very clear.

Well I guess basically there are no hard and fast rules to which is better to each it's own however for me I guess that I would opt for both particularly handing out TC Gift cards as tips or incentives or pass out to strangers whom you meet and offer it to them on an open mind basis brings me better results even though distributing it online is relatively much easier as the response can be rather warm the only caveat is you never know whether they are genuine or even the same person out to milk

TC Gift cards are very effective marketing tools in SFI. They are a very effective way to introduce SFI and Tripleclicks to other people. They are cute, beautiful and easily appreciated as simple gifts. Many people relish getting a gift card and most are always very appreciative of the cards. Currently in SFI, there are two types of gift cards, the Physical and the Digital gift cards with a common feature of 12 characters redemption code which is the most important marketing feature in the cards.

As we all know, SFI offers 2 kinds of T C gift cards.

1. Physical - standard plastic card

This can be given to friends and family members, as free samples, in Person.

In fact this seems to be one of the best and most proven methods for gaining new customers in marketing history!

The advantage of giving this in person is that we can interact better with the people, having an opportunity to understand the situation, attitude, interest in business,

Hello Marty,

I've read several answers to your question, "Which is more effective--distributing TC gift cards online or in person?" and believe most of those answers center more around "difficulty" than on the question itself, which relates to "effectiveness!"

In my opinion, it all boils down to how much you know and understand about TripleClicks and the benefits your potential customers can receive by purchasing their products from you online.

Both ways of distributing the gift cards are effective.

When distributing in person you can see if the recipient is really interested or not. By speaking to them face to face you are more able to gauge whether they are likely to use their gift card.

With the online version, unless you build up a rapport with the recipient before offering them the gift card, you are going to have very hot and miss results.

Hi Marty,

I believe both methods are effective ways to distribute TC Gift Cards.

If you have an outgoing personality and prefer to meet and talk to people face to face, I would definitely suggest you distribute TC Gift Cards in person, because you will have a better opportunity to explain the value of both the Gift Card and TripleClicks to your prospects. Moreover, a personal touch is sometimes exactly what you need to convince someone to try something new.

I think it depends on many things...
Your own personality - do you prefer talking about business things face to face or with less personal communication?
The personality of your prospect?
Is your prospect Internet literate - are they online all the time or a bit scared of technology?
How many online contacts do you have? And how many 'offline' contacts?
Are you comfortable talking to strangers? If so you can start a conversation about TripleClicks and give them a gift
