No one is born a leader. Some have more ability than others, that is true, bit we all can be leaders.

To be a leader in any field, you need to know the ins and outs of the business you are running, and the same applies to SFI

Learn all about SFI and teach every thing you learn to your affiliates, if anyone asks a question give a broad answer, and send them any link that you have found useful, regarding the query.

This way they learn how to use all the tools available in SFI, and so teach them how to be leaders themselves

The expression “leaders are born” is an old adage. Leaders are also made. A lot of leadership stuff cannot be taught but SFI affiliates can learn from effective team leaders. Leadership is deliberate. You seldom have successful teams by accident.

SFI team leaders should take control of their own development. They should keep up with the relentless training that will make a difference in their performance.

Look at all the successful affiliates at SFI. Figure out why they were successful and carry out the actions that led them to be successful. Success stories are abundant at SFI forums and take the cue from the successful leaders.

SfI affiliates can learn from watching other leaders and emulating them. They can choose role models and seek out mentors. They ask other leaders about how to handle situations as is currently done at the SFI forum.

Team leaders can be made. Provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to your team. Focus on the tasks on hand and communicate with the team members. Inspire and encourage them and help them in the duplication efforts. Ensure that the team spirit and morale is kept high.

As far as I know we are all born innocent like a new computer.To really become a Leader you need to mix with people that are motivated and ambitious!!
This what I realize and it took me a very long time to realize even thou you are a go getter and you mix with downers your ambition is killed because to communicate with them you need to drop to their level.And believe me It is a very lonely feeling.There are not many people who see true success because we get in a comfort zone which is usually very exciting.Have you ever notice all the things in life that leads to nowhere is very exciting!!But as you know "SUCCESS is boredom of doing the same thing over and over until you become a professional!!.
So we are not born leaders we have to Dream Big Think High!!Whatever the mind perceive it can achieve you just need to apply the actions to get you there.There will be stumbling blocks use these as stepping stones lessons of what not to do for you know the result and do not stop just keep pressing forward!!
So for me to show what an awesome Leader I am here at SFI.I must always have my ledger up to date(well kept in all areas) and and duplicate my myself in my PSAs and CSAs.Try to get them on the same wave length of thinking I know it not going to be easy but I know that it can be done!!! Where there is a will there is a way.
To be a leader you need the mind set of a leader and to accomplish this.You need to do this

You don t need to be a born leader to have success, and become a great Team Leader. If you are open mind, ready to learn, to follow proven steps that successful leaders do, you can reach success in leading your team and watch it grow, day by day.
The most important thing for me, is humanity,the ability to understand people and their needs, understand that we all are different and don*t have same skills, timing, same backgrounds.. understand a importance of individual approach, of treating different people in a different way, close to their possibilities and expectations.
This, for me, is the best starting point.
Than you must follow successful team leaders,read how they do, watch what they do, ask for advice, suggestion, "coppy" them in a good way, do all the winning steps they do.

I don't know if we're born with it but Being a leader takes motivation,Some people are more motivated than others.

Some people see, hear, learn, and quickly take action. Others, see, hear, and learn but never take action.Then quickly find out that they are really just a follower,Like so many others who procrastinate.Leaders have a way of making things happen,and that's what makes them stand out from the rest.

And think about it. Who do you want to follow? You want to follow someone who leads by example,leads well and is successful.Each day You have to motivate yourself to become a leader,and being motivated is always a choice, you either are or your not.

This is what I have seen throughout my life. People motivated for a day are not successful leaders. But those motivated day in and day out, long term, are the high achievers "leaders"

Leading, means everyone something together, the leader will do first, then the rest follows. That's what we said "lead by example".

We are not born a leader but we learn how to be a leader. In a group of people doing the same tasks, when you are learning faster and doing better, everyone else will sought for your knowledge, they will ask you for advices or guidance, and there you have became the leader.

We need not be a professional or expert to become a leader, as there is no end in learning. A leader is someone who shares what they know, and find out the answer if there is something that the team don't know.

Growing together is what a leader should do together with the team members. You do not have to be a born leader to do so.

I guess been a born leader and an SFI Team leader are kind of related but still not the same thing. SFI and other network marketing opportunities require a big learning curve. Most people who join SFI start trying to communicate with their team by using the standard SFI messages. To me this is robotic. To be a team leader you need to have confidence, be there for your team and also offer support when not even asked for.

Letting your team know you are a real person and not just a robot goes a long way. By contacting them on a regular basis and showing them that you care and are there to help them is what network marketing is all about.

You may of heard the saying before that "network marketing is not about the product, Its about yourself"

No matter what company you are with, the people who succeed are the people who learn how to be part of a team and work together. Learn new things about yourself daily. Do not be afraid that you may be making ay mistake. This business has no space to be afraid. Be social and let your team know you are there for them at any time.

It is either you are going to do it and try it or you should just leave it alone.

This is an interesting question. It is quite useful, and necessary to have leadership qualities in one's life. Who is a leader? The one who has talents to understand, suggest when needed, lead if you see something is going wrong. A very important nature of a leader is possessing knowledge about different things. If we think of SFI, we have ample information to read, understand and suggest to others upon it. The type of leadership that is required here is not that of a political leader, music leader, head teacher but an example to the downline Affiliates, by earning many many VersaPoints, wining different type of badges you become a leader _BL SL GL PL).
Generally I consider myself a born leader because I became a very good academic teacher, and I wonder if I am still a great leader in the SFI even though gained several important badges, with high number of VPs. I am doing my best to encourage, suggest and even at times advise my downline. This is a great task of business for which we need also business tricks apart from being a leader.
Just keep encouraging, doing by example on your profile page, suggesting others how to improve in this business which is great! Through ample knowledge in the SFI you will inspire others and become a great leader automatically!!!!

I don't believe that there is anything like a born leader. One is a leader because he decides to rise up and exhibit such qualities that makes other rally round him and look up to him.

Likewise in SFI, you do not need to be a born leader to be a Team Leader.
You become a Team Leader by achieving the status through the VPs you accumulate, up to 3000 points in sales and actions.
Of course by now you have PSAs and CSAs in your team and you make yourself available to coach and mentor them to come up to your level too.

Let us understand that no body in this world is born leader, The environment, Culture, Teachings, Influence of media, etc are the few main sources which makes us the leaders.

Every person should get a right stage or an opportunity to become a leader. Don't you think we are blessed or lucky enough to have SFI, that makes us the leaders.

At SFI we start as affiliates (Team members) and learn many things by lessons, forum,Launchpad, or from A2A friends. All these were taught by SFI in stages. After learning SFI guides us to duplicate or pass it to other sponsored person,wherein it makes sure you have automatically qualified as leader. Hats off and thanks to SFI for providing such beautiful and great opportunity to all we individuals irrespective of our religion, cast or origin.
