I once find myself asking the same question.
After discussing the matter with my upline and reading the materials in SFI, I found the answers as such:

1. SFI is now in its 16th successful year on the Internet. If not fair or credible, will not last that long.

2. With tens of thousands joining weekly, SFI is one of the fastest growing companies of its kind in the world. New Starters every single day.

3. Since 1998, SFI has paid out MILLIONS of dollars in commissions to affiliates in over 200 countries. Newbies included - ME INCLUDED =)

4. Peace of Mind. Working with SFI means having the peace of mind of working with a proven, debt-free company with a long, successful track record.

5. If still in doubt, check out SFI's LaunchPad questions.

6. Learn about SFI's history, company leadership, sub-divisions, and more. To increase your confidence in this business. Your Own Business !!!

7. Being new is not a disadvantage, we learn from more seasoned affiliates. Smart people learn from other's mistakes, so we do not make one ourselves.

No, SFI is just at the inception of its potential growth. Although it has now 15 years of existence, it is only starting to scratch the surface of its potential, which is enormous.

Yes, this is the best time to start building an SFI Business for years to come.
SFI Corporate mentioned this in the Newsletter published early January 2014. 2013 was a year of unprecedented growth. That pace of growth is likely to continue.

All hard working affiliates are equally well positioned to reap the tremendous benefits of promoting an SFI business.

Actually, we are in a better position today than the earlier Affiliates. We have tools they did not have. We have a global market. They did not. We have a speed and efficiency of communications that did not exist before. We are building on their success while they started from scratch.

To give examples of the practical advantages we have today, which did not exist in 1998, when SFI was incorporated, let's look at your country. The Philippines have a population of about 102 millions as per figures relating to 2011. Unemployment rate is above 7%, while gross domestic product (GDP) per capita (per person) is only at
PHP 118,476, (in local currency) the equivalent of $2,918 per year.

Your market in the Philippines includes all the literate people who are unemployed, or not fully employed, or not satisfied with they employment, or those who are looking to be open their ow business.

It is safe to say that, in a year or two of hard and smart work, as an SFI Affiliate, you could be in a position to make a monthly commission close to that average annual income per person in the Philippines today. At the same time, you would also be building your residual income (for retirement so to speak). A successful SFI Affiliate who retires would be able to maintain their income level. This is not possible for an employee in any brick and mortar business and in any country. Today people are retiring nearly empty handed.

It is interesting to note that your country is the third most active in SFI, after India and the USA. However, the above statistics are closely similar for India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Nigeria, just to mention a few of the top SFI countries.

Another interesting fact is the rate of penetration of the internet in all these countries, which is extremely high. Worldwide, internet access is making leaps and bounds, opening new areas of recruiting for us.

It is clear that in 1998, very few Filipinos had access to the internet. This fact applies also to the other countries that are leading today in active SFI Affiliates. Marketing reach and methods used by SFI Affiliates at that time could hardly go beyond North America. Today, we reach at every corner of the globe and growing.

When we combine all these factors, it is clear that we have today a much greater opportunity that the early SFI Affiliates had.

Then, I would encourage you and every other Affiliate who joined recently, to see SFI as a real potential for building a sound and strong business for the future of many years to come.

Absolutely! Matter of fact in reiteration to Gery's statement, he said if there was ever a better time for any one to Join SFI business, then that time is NOW.
Why? Because SFI has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. Many great additions such as the newly re-branded marketing center, makes it so easy for Affiliates who join today to achieve faster results in their marketing efforts with done for you marketing tools. This was not so several years ago.

However as the Internet evolves from time to time SFI must constantly update it's data base to match the evolving internet. This is great for Affiliates like you and me because it means SFI is not static and dying for luck of innovation but rather Visionary and geared towards long term success for it's Affiliates.

There are factors that have held constant from the beginning that have helped SFI maintain it's rapid and steady growth which I believe attracted you to it in the first place to name but a few, like;

1. Free participation as long as you want with no obligation
2. Your own personal website provided FREE
3. Personal mentors provided for free for your support and assistance
4. Ability to create substantial Income giving away Free stuff
5. Ability to make money everywhere-global reach
6. Costs less than a dollar a day in sales to qualify for upper level income
7. provision of extensive free training and resources to help you get started fast
8. Ability to share in company's sales and commissions every month

I would think the playing field is more than fair for someone who is new to SFI.

Over the past 16 years SFI has perfected and refined its training methods so that anyone can learn how to participate in this business and become successful at it, as long as he or she is willing to invest enough time and effort.

SFI is a living, breathing entity that continually reshapes and adapts to the trends of the market and the needs of its members, which means it's quite possible that those of us who have been here less time have more advantages than our SFI veterans did when they first started out. Nowadays, we have more efficient tools to work with and the results can be more immediate and spectacular.

Moreover, if ever there was a place where newcomers are not only welcome but also nurtured and supported, it is SFI. Don't worry, there isn't any cut-throat competition going on here… except maybe in the auctions, ha ha!

On the contrary, It is in everybody's best interest to help you succeed, because when you succeed, we all succeed! So check out the ASK SC section for answers and ask for help in the Forum, from your a2a friends and from your up-line (your sponsor and co-sponsors). They will all help you 'level that playing field'.

Absolutely! SFI is continually changing and growing. I joined 2 years ago and there have been many changes in that time. SFI is dynamic.

You have a vast amount of new training and new advertising banners and heaps of other resources which have only recently been added to the store of resources. Even the Start video on the home page wasn't there 2 years ago.

Also VP is now 'lost' after a certain period of time, just so that new players can indeed compete on a level playing field and rise up the leaderboard quickly.

It is very easy in SFI to be way ahead of your sponsor. It depends on how hard you work and how much you learn and apply yourself as to how well you do in this business, not on when you joined.

Work hard, learn all you can and you have as good a chance as anyone whose been here for 10 years and done only the basics.

I read in your question that you have this competetiveness edge in you, which is a very great attribute. When you look at SFI, yes it has ben around for a long time and there are affiliates who have been around for ages as well. Some of these affiliates have done quite well for themselves whilst others are just as good as starters.

It is true that if you look at Overall and country rankings, the whole exercise might seem unfair for someone joining today. But I would like to encourage you in that do not focus so much on other people's activities and rankings, focus more on your personal goals and actions to achieve the set goals (remember to ste them SMART).


Remember this is YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS, and not very different if you had a physical business. Whether you started running it 15 years ago or today, its success depends not so much on the duration, but on how well you manage it.

Besides everything else, you will see that SFI has evolved a lot over the years. It had only one product to sell when it started, just as an example, now you have 100s of thousands. there were no ECAs, which were relatively recently introduced. Most countries did not have internet connectivity then, whichis critical for online business, whilst these days you can reach most people, including those who only use their mobile phones. Interenet itself has evolved and you are also growing with it.

In short, THE PLAYING FIELD IS TILTED IN YOUR FAVOR!!!

Sure, the playing field is very fair.

Each SFI member begins on the same footing at the start of each month. The slate is wiped clean and we all start on zero.

Of course those you have already built up their teams will have inputs from their teams actions as well through out the month. BUT they have put in very hard work over months and years, even a decade or more to get to where they're at.

But to answer your question; ABSOLUTELY YES! I have not seen a more fair, balanced and considerate playing field either on the Internet or on terra-firma.

To me, the trick is in picking the best set of money making options SFI makes available to us all, (that work best for you in your context) AND STICK TO IT with all you've got.

Focus on that and you will make it BIG my friend. All my very best.

I now exactly what you mean. Matrices do become saturated at some point but SFI is a very different model trust me. We are just beginning to hit some fantastic growth. As a matter of fact most people don't know about TripleClicks nor SFI and they have been around for a few years. Carson Services, Inc. has been around even longer and if we were not affiliates I'm sure we would not have heard of it. That's just how novel the marketing system is.

Most of our target audience is in emerging economies. There is very little competition for the service we offer in these markets. While Amazon, Ebay, and some other are more mainstream, the piece of the market our marketing system targets is virtually untapped. The internet is growing at a phenomenal pace in countries with emerging economies. This is the vision you should adopt.

Moreover, anyone who joins SFI starts at the same position 0 VP. It's up to them as it is up to you if you are going to stay there. Every affiliate has around 3000 VP available through training. Learning the system is a matter of desire and commitment. SFI rewards every affiliate for doing that. There is no obligation but to take the necessary action to earn those VP as they cost nothing but to read and implement.

Now SFI is not for EVERYONE although ANYONE of average intelligence can do this. If you can click a mouse great. If you can read great. If you have a smart device with an internet connect - fantastic. Then you can do this business!

The guy that has 300,000 affiliates on his team is equal to the guy with none if those affiliates are not active. So becoming a success in this business is not a matter of size but a matter of focus, knowledge, heart, desire, and time. When these are applied correctly success is practically guaranteed.

To answer your question we need to define what you mean by playing field. Do you mean what is in store for new affiliates, an opportunity to grow and the tools and resources available for that purpose including multiple income streams?

If you look back from the humble beginning of SFI in 1998 at its launching, you’ll see that, it started with just one product sold only in the United States. Do you ever hear the founder of SFI asking, it’s not fair to begin with just one product? How to market the product? How to let others share SFI opportunity? It must be a lot of obstacles and challenges to overcome to make this opportunity far reaching and be made available to others, where there is Internet connection worldwide.

I joined 12 years ago, because I saw that SFI has a bright future. I believe and made commitment on this opportunity and it has changed my life. I can tell you that it was very hard to sponsor back then, let alone creating your own website and advertise online. There was no W3 Wave 3, Pricebender Auctions, Zebra Games and Song of the Month contest. I have lots to be thankful for the great innovations and how SFI has grown into one of the most highly rated home business opportunity online.
