You should realize, however, that if the affiliate is not engaged in the business, or logging in on a regular basis, they will never see your messages. One thing having regular Stream notes definitely does is it shows your active downline people that you are also working the business. This is a very important thing to communicate, and the Stream probably does that better than anything else.
As you build your business, you are undoubtedly encountering situations, questions or observations that can be valuable to your team. The Stream is a great way of passing all of that information on in a condensed form. It's also a great forum to acknowledge the people in your business. If you are providing valuable insights, or motivation to your team, they will become avid readers of your messages.
As far as how often to post, although you can only earn 3 VP/week with your posts, I recommend that you post something every single day. Make it a habit. If you skip days, it is amazing how easy it is to forget to post for a week or more. We are creatures of habit, so I teach to establish that habit from the start, even before the affiliate has any downline that their messages are ostensibly addressed to.
