The main thing about SFI is that it is a real business and not a Get Rich Quick scheme.

Many people will join up and expect instant results. They need to understand that it takes time to get the business running, to learn what you need to learn and to apply it, to get the ads in place and the responses coming in.

They need to read the stories of the people who have been successfull in SFI. You will not find one overnight success, the people making big money took years to build their team, to build their business. Gery himself writes about this often.

We see members at the forum who place a couple of ads and because they don't have an instant team of 100 affiliates think they are "getting nowhere". We see members who buy a share in S Builder and think they will have a huge team a week later, not realising it takes over a month to see the first results, and that the bigger results will come in time.

SFI is about duplicating success and every successfull person, every leader, took TIME to get there.

It is not that they are "getting nowhere", it is that they are not getting anywhere YET.

Actually problem started from second month of join SFI. First month affiliates managed their qualifying VP 1500 to participate in E-365, complete Launchpad and their daily work to Log into the SFI homepage.

From second month they become puzzled to collect 1500 VP to advance their Rank as they have no enough fund to make a Standing Order or buy some products in TripleClicks So they feels nowhere in SFI.

Encourage them with following advices

1) Keep patience, don’t take decision to give up, read and study more

2) Go to TripleClicks, click Game tab and enter in T-Time hourly to win 2 free T-Credits daily

3) After T-Time win go to auction and enter into “Pick the Price” contest. Just guess the wining price of the auction, click ENTER; submit your price with 1 T-Credit. You may win 25-100 T-Credits. Daily participate in this contest to win more T-Credits

4) After win T-Credits go to 2X auction and bid with your T-Credits. You will get 1 VP per bid and also 10 MRPs

5) When your MRP will reach 126 purchase 1 T-Credit pack with that MRP to get 102 VP and put that T-Credit to pick the price contest again

For an affiliate who feels he or she is getting nowhere with SFI, in my opinion, is someone who has not yet crafted out a method for succeeding in this program. This individual may be told that one of the rewards for becoming a part of this business opportunity is to earn. To respond to these affiliates accordingly one must understand
their expectations and goals they have set for themselves.

Efforts equals success, but it sure doesn't come over night.

Check on their VPLedger if there is something they are missing
out on. Encourage then to take the necessary steps. If you see the PSA
is doing all they can do, emphasize again that time is needed
to build a good strong foundation and PRAISE their efforts.

First of all if you don't put in any work you get nothing.

Second where is the affiliate trying to go. The affiliate must first set their goals and plan out what it is they are trying to achieve. if there is no direction then nowhere is where you would end up.

I would take a look at the checklist that is provided by SFI when you click on the affiliate at the bottom there is a checklist that takes you through detailed information about the affiliate. I think this checklist works very well and will help to define what an affiliate is trying to achieve. the checklist also makes sure the sponsor is well involved with helping and supporting the affiliate.

So , to answer the question; the encouragement I would suggest is to
1. Have the affiliate define their goals and what they expect to accomplish with SFI
2. The affiliate should then define their course of action to accomplish their goals with the help of their sponsor if needed.
3. Give the affiliate positive feedback, and support when needed.
4. Keep communication with the affiliate by sending news letters or training that you think would be helpful.


Encouragement should be everything positive to help the affiliate succeed and not give up.

Affiliates especially during their first year become overwhelmed with information. They’d always need a lot of help this period to forge ahead. They also need to be inquisitive enough to seek answers on their own.

First of all let your affiliates know that SFI is a wealth bank and provides a lot of tools for affiliates to succeed. There are training videos, training materials and marketing tools to enhance your success. Affiliates can take advantage of them. They can take out valuable time to read up all the available material on the affiliate centers.

Affiliates can always get information from a number of sources. They can look to the following sources for help at any point in time.

1. Logging into the affiliate center daily – This has to be done unfailingly. Let them log in and do the needed tasks, visit the red tabs, read all the news tips and earn VersaPoints while they learn. This adds to their income level.

2. Talk to their Sponsors or Upline Team members – Affiliates can always access their sponsors or Upline team members by Email, Skype or SFI online chats to ask mind boggling questions. Being more experienced they would be ready to provide any needed help.

3. Always read Team mails – Weekly mails are very useful and helpful sources of information. Sometimes these mails can come from 3 - 4 generations ahead who have garnered experience in SFI. It pays to pay attention to their recommendations. I have been able to gain a lot from team mails and look forward to them every week. I learnt from team mails various ways I can hit my required 1500 VersaPoints every month and this has helped me to keep going.

There are various motivational aspects to drive affiliates who feel dejected with SFI and some of the important ones I have highlighted here (from experience)

o Personal examples are a prime mover in such a situation
o The mindset needs to change with constant interaction with your affiliates
o Being able to convince the affiliate that there is progress in SFI if you want it
o The feeling that you are there to support your affiliate is very essential

Let's see why the affiliate feels they are not getting anywhere with SFI.

Is it that they are not happy with the paycheck? In the beginning nobody is. The reason we are unhappy is that we unrealistically hoped (despite what SFI says all the time)that we will earn money just by clicking. Then we realise - money is earned through work, so our job is to advertise and refer. When the affiliate realises that and starts working, the money will come.

But although we are all here for the money we can make, it's not about money itself. Our WHY, our reason we are here, things we can make happen, dreams we can make come true are what keeps us here. I think you should target that when you want to encourage and motivate your affiliate who feels down. If you help them believe they can achieve that dream, that they are already on the right path, they will find strength to move on. You can focus later on what needs to be done and how, but WHY is the most important.

Point them out what they are doing great - praise them and tell them to keep up the good work.

Ask them for ideas. Suggest some of your own, time-tested tips.

Show them that they are important and on the right path by investing in them. Something small such as a couple of TCredits or Wave 3 will do the trick.

Don't let them feel isolated. Make them believe we are in this together. Tell them about A2A and Forum if they haven't discovered it yet.

And finally, although SFI shares inspiring quotes daily, you could share some, too. Think of a motivational quote that touched you. Or something someone (parents, teachers, family, friends, colleagues) said to encourage you in the past.

The best advice will be to ensure that he / she follow the SFI Basics and follow the training material with regards to sponsoring, sales, etc. If every single affiliate sees and understand the Three-Step-Plan, will it be necessary to ask this question?

On the other hand if everything goes according to plan, will it still be a challenge?

I had a conversation with somebody earlier wrt an offline business. The person tried some business, but it didn't work out. I've asked her whether she feels that she put in everything to make it a successful business.

I've learned that you have to satisfy yourself to commit your business. You may convince the person, but he / she will in the end give up on her / himself. John Maxwell mentioned that people quit people not a business or company. I feel that I end up giving up on myself too easily i.e. they quit themselves and not somebody else. The reason is the "What if ... I've wasted my time..., I've wasted money ..., etc. There is the myths of MLM.

I had a good affiliate. She did well for herself, but was not or could not afford to invest money. Her marketing took too long even though I included her in a co-op without asking her to reimburse me.

In the end my motivational letters and convincing didn't help. I had to convince myself quite a few times. When I started I've earned $2.3 dollars. I first asked myself is that worth it after everything I've done? I immediately changed my approach and said: If I didn't do anything, I would not have earned that much. The months after that it just increased.

What I am saying is that we as sponsors must be positive and without convincing we'll become a motivation unto others. Don't give up on yourself or anybody else.
