Motivate your affiliates about SFI Business!!!

1. It’s very simple, in any kind of start up businesses, you have to invest first to start the business, then you have to wait for some time for the profits to come which is called gestation period, then when this gestation period ends which is known as break-even point, your profits start coming in, first in small figures, gradually it increases over period of time and finally gives the income you have dreamt of.

2. You have to keep in mind that without investment there is no return. There is no rule like something for nothing. Hence, you have to invest in SFI initially to build your VPs in the beginning and stay in contention for qualification for “Executive Affiliate” level and keep working to build your down line while SFI also helps you upon your qualification as “EA”.

3. While you are an affiliate of SFI, you are also a member of TripleClicks Online Market, which is your Superstores, where you can buy products for which you are being rewarded with VersaPoints which help in your growth at SFI- your ranking, your down line and your achievements. You can also become E-Commerce Associate (ECA) and start your own online Stores, develop your products for marketing online. This is nothing but your Business. Your growth is your Business. When you grow your business also grows, when your business grows your income also grows. When your income grows then all your dreams will come true!!!

Here at SFI initially you have to work for your VPs from the first month itself wherein you have to qualify for EA level, in the second month too you have to qualify as EA, all this while learning the tricks of the trade by reading and updating the knowledge base for internet marketing. Third month onwards your down line starts to form and grow. The first 3 months is known as initial phase of Business. After three months your commissions start to grow as you learn and implement what you are taught at SFI. First the commissions start in a trickle, it grows gradually as you develop your down line. Once the gestation period is over as I mentioned earlier in point no. 1, you start getting good commissions. Your investment reaches break-even point after first 6 months. Then you start to make considerable income. Till then patience is needed.

This is what I am going to explain to the Affiliates who get enrolled in my down line. I prefer personal references who get enrolled because one can explain to them in person and convince them that this is their “Business” not anybody else’s. This would motivate them!!!

The affiliates who get enrolled online are different type of people with different situations. It’s going to take some time for them to take a decision to continue in SFI due to where they are placed in their life and the level of their motivation to make money. It depends on person to person perception of life -Positive or negative!!!

Dear Friend,

To do anything in Life, we need the required interest and encouragement and SFI is no different from that. When I started my career with SFI, I was nowhere and I thought I won’t ever become successful in this vast system. But when I realized the benefits and goodness of this great system, I started to learn everything systematically and then I progressed further in SFI.


Now, being a Global Leader, daily I get many calls and mails from affiliates asking therewith various ways to improve in the system and many of them were on the verge of giving up due to the lack of confidence. My answer to those is simple. Believe in yourself, be determined and then move on and reach the destination successfully. The main reason for their frustration and depression is the lack of knowledge about the system and if we can provide enough enlightenment on the various possibilities and benefits of SFI to them, they will become more active and work towards their welfare and benefit. As a matter of fact, I have seen this mentality in many of them personally.


SFI even provides systematic knowledge facilities like Start Up Guide, SFI Basics and Launch Pad , etc. for a a new affiliate to move up and set their goals higher. Encouragement to others is something everyone can give. Somebody needs what you have to give. It may not be your money, it may not be your time. It may be your listening ear. It may be your arms to encourage. It may be your smile to uplift. Who knows?


In short, correction does much, but encouragement does more and nine tenths of education is encouragement.

Every REAL business takes time to profit. I personally cannot think of one that has made a profit without the business owner first gaining knowledge, taking action and following through.

Many new affiliates expect to be earning big income from the very beginning, usually because they have read some advertising or websites claiming this or that. When they get to SFI they WANT that.

As their sponsor your need to show them that this is not going to happen here or any where else (except winning a lottery and we all know the chances of that happening)

* Tell them they need the knowledge (Launchpad, SFI Basics and your support)
* Tell them they need to take ACTION (Advertise and Promote their business (see Sponsoring and Marketing)
* Tell them to ask others in the SFI forum and to pay attention to the Successful leaders (see Leader Boards)

BUT ----- Most of all LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND COMMUNICATE WITH THEM, REWARD THEM FOR THEIR EFFORTS ( see AWESOME SPONSOR, REASSIGNMENTS, TCREDIT TRANSFERS, GIFT CERTIFICATES)

That is the biggest ENCOURAGEMENT you can give them. Create your own success and give them something to live up to. Be on the leader boards yourself and show them what you do to be successful (see DUPLICATION)

Barring a very few, most of us during our journey in SFI activities would have felt many times that we were getting nowhere in SFI.

May be because we dreamt very high and set our goals too high to reach too early but failed to commensurate our goals and dreams with the required actions, we get onto a spot where we feel that we are chasing an impossible dream.

Then we set our goals realistically and get our priority and actions right, to advance slowly and steadily towards achieving success.

Most of our affiliates are no better than we were except that now we have learnt our lesson and found our way. Imparting this lesson and experience to our affiliates who are caught in the bind is the best way to show them the way and lead them along.

Plan the actions required by the affiliates, two months in advance and advise them beforehand of the various options and actions by which they can achieve the desired result or goal.

Through team mails keep them motivated by recognizing their achievements, posting about various awards they can earn, the prizes they can win, the CSAs they will receive the chances of acquiring PSAs if they take part in Co-ops.

All these are the silver linings which will beckon those who are probing through darkness to inch forward without giving up and finally see the light and progress.

In everything you do always expect someone to get discouraged over it especially when it has to do with money.

Learners are victim of discouragement in their early stage of learning; especially when they have to go over and over same thing within short period.

Some affiliate will get discouraged if they refuse to get result as they expected.

Here are things you could do to encourage them:

1. Always get informations from them. create this communication to build a relationship so as to know what to do when they have problems.

2. Create a means of giving gifts for qualifying as EA or render help just incase they have few points to to requalify.

3. ''GENTLE WORDS GIVE PEACE TO THE HEART'' send more encouraging words to make them feel loved and not rejected.

4. Help them breakdown things that seems not clear in SFI, encourage them to read more, cos in reading is understanding.

5. Show them how much they can earn if they can only put in more effort. Show them few calculations, help them understand they can quit now.

6. Give them information that are simple and clear so they will be able to read your advice.

And many more dont let them get discouraged, help them daily to see they can make it better on SFI.

Whoever joins SFI, will get nowhere in the first few months as the first few months are required to acquire the vast knowledge base about SFI.

My advice to all such affiliates goes as follows:

1. Read the welcome message if luckily they receive it from their sponsor and try to follow his/her instructions.

2. Upload your profile. This is one of the most important task in SFI. Whitelist ‘[email protected]’ so that not to miss any important messages from SFI and TripleClicks.

3. Upload your photo. Underneath your photo please find three buttons; ‘START, SFI BASICS & LAUNCH PAD’. Get started with ‘START button and listen to the video message of Mr Gery Carson , the owner of the SFI very attentively. In fact you need to listen this video every week.

4. Then Read the entire information given on SFI Basics. That should make you understand why you are heading nowhere in SFI Business.

5. To make a fast track progress, I will only advise to the members who are able to invest a certain minimum amount of money. The others who can’t do that should study SFI as much as possible being a FREE members. You may call it as gestation period in a business.

6. Read and re-read your Launch Pad to understand what is SFI and how can you succeed in SFI. Under the ‘Training Column’ read “The Rules of Success” . Just not read them, but apply them practically in your SFI Business.

7. Logging in to your account daily is the most important activity like having breakfast, lunch and dinner. Do not miss it a single day. Its going to decide your success or failure.

8. Advertise your SFI Business daily. Formula to success is “Advertise! Advertise!! And Advertise!!!. You can use ‘Traffic Exchanges, Safe Lists, Social Media and Free Advertising at no cost whatsoever to you.

9. I am sure if you follow the above mentioned 08 points only, you would start heading somewhere in a short span of time.

Oftentimes new affiliates are overwhelmed and lost simply because they did not get a good understanding of the basics. They should be encouraged to follow the structured steps in the learning process.
New affiliates should be told to focus on SFI Basics and not move to other areas until they have fully understood the SFI Basics.

Then they move on to the LaunchPad “getting started” series. They should adhere to one lesson a day in order get a systematic understanding of the concepts.

A good way of encouraging affiliates is issuing them with a Gift Certificate. This can be done at your Genealogy Report. If the Gift Certificate is not redeemed the funds will be returned to your TC account

Free participation in co-op is another way to encourage affiliates. A couple of PSA sign-ups will certainly encourage them to perform.

Re-assigning affiliates under them is a great way to encourage them. When you offer a gift certificate, free participation in co-op, or re-assigning of affiliates under them you are clearly trying to help them be successful.

Rewarding affiliates with T-credits is also an incentive to encourage them to perform.

Tell your affiliates not to quit as persistence always pays off.

Help the affiliate to redefine their goals. Give the following advice.

“Break the "big picture" down into smaller and more specific goals. Consider areas that you either want to change or that you feel you would like to develop with time. Use the SMART method to create actionable goals. Ensure they are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-related.

Create some short-term goals. Once you have the long term goals you have the roadmap for setting necessary goals for next year, next month, next week, tomorrow, and today. E.g. Set a goal to attain the first level badge of Daily Versa Points, or register 1 PRM for the wk/mth; or network with a group of a2a peers. Each goal achieved builds confidence.

Set priorities. At any given moment, you have a number of goals all in different states of completion. Deciding which goals are more important, or time-sensitive, than others is crucial.

Keep track of your progress. Journalling is a great way to keep track progress. Checking in with yourself and acknowledging the progress made towards a certain goal is key to staying motivated.

Reward accomplishments. Acknowledge when you have reached goals and allow yourself to celebrate accordingly.”

You, the upline can give encouragement/reward//praise when each goal is reached. Help affiliate to see goals as steps to greater heights - take one step at a time!

Well, I too felt disillusioned when I first started as I was not getting anywhere. But I continued to ask myself, “Why did I join in the first place?”
What kept me going was the fact that I was determined to succeed and prove to my friends and family that this business was not a scam. I was also determined to boost my income.
Also, I was encouraged by my sponsor, who helped to keep me going. Most affiliates who join, do not have any marketing experience, but SFI has all the tools to assist
all affiliates with no experience. I took advantage of this and slowly but surely, my SFI business has improved. Encourage them to log in every day, and to get involved in the forum.
Encourage them to A2A the top leaders and ask them for advice. Ask yourself, "what are they doing that I'm not doing?" We are all here to help each other become successful in this business.
I gave myself a year in this business…..and I am still here.

When an affiliate feels that he or she is getting nowhere in SFI the first thing you should address are their daily habits. Try to find out how much time has the affiliated committed to building a reliable business. Usually you will get these types of complaints from affiliates who have not done very much at all.

It this case, you as a sponsor should set a realistic expectation for these affiliates to look toward. Tell them your own personalized story in short. Tell them what gave you the drive to do more than just log in and collect 11 VP. Many times you can open their eyes to a more realistic view of the business as they may have genuinely had good intentions but didn't understand how to execute them.

Similarly, you want to observe the routine of the affiliate. This can be done by review their profile from the genealogy tool. Click the name link of any affiliate in your downline and you can see a snapshot of how serious they are about the business. Are they recruiting at least 30 affiliates every 30 days? Are they logging in and participating in Pricebender auctions? Are they buying/selling TripleClicks merchandise? All of this and more is available right from the snapshot.

Moreover you can explain to your affiliates that you can provide extra help along the way of progress. Too many affiliates expect their sponsors to just give them a gift certificate or TCredits and this is NOT a given. If you are an over-the-top affiliate, I have NO problem awarding any or all of the above but I am NOT obligated to do this. I promote for all of my EAs and TLs get extra promotion for FREE to reward them for their achievements. We also have co-ops and competitions from time to time so that affiliates can gain momentum sooner rather than later.

Finally, always remind them of the why. Remind them of what SFI offers and ask them to remind themselves of the alternative. If they have a better solution that what SFI offers great. But if not, then they have to invest in the 2 to 5 year plan and serious work at the business. Yes, tell them how long you took to achieve momentum and let them know that if you quit you will not succeed at your SFI goals. They must stay for the duration and work with faith, persistence, and patience to reap the rewards that are certain to come. It is all a matter of time and commitment.
