You can't argue with facts and raw data. Each day when you do your daily tasks make a note of how many people joined the previous day and from how many countries then relay these figures to your prospective recruit. This...along with a 20 year proven track record should help to allay their fears.

Another way to convince people is by telling them that they can join totally free and NEVER have any financial obligations to being a member. You could explain to them that it is in fact possible to build their business here without ever investing their own money but it is advisable to invest if they want to reap the benefits from the executive pool.

one other way is to direct them to Alexa.com. Again, its hard to argue with the facts and figures presented therein and this site is independent from SFI. In fact, a visit to Alexa should be enough to prove to anyone that SFI & TripleClicks are 'legit'.

When I encounter people who are skeptical when I introduce SFI, I don't usually force the issue.

Usually when I am talking to him face to face I just open my SFI account and show him around what I got. Then he/she will start asking interesting questions, and usually end up signing-up.

Therefore my advice is you make SFI business work first for you by concentrating on the two main success factors, namely, affiliates and personally earned VP. It's easier to convince skeptics if you can show them proofs.

If you can not show proof yet then what you can do is show them SFI pages like "growth" page and show how many are joining. Show them testimonies of other members. Forum and ask SC is also great pages to show what other members are talking about.

You can also show them the BBB rating and the "about us" page.

But don't waste so much energy on people whose hobby is just being skeptical. There is no amount of proof that can convince such people hehehehe.

People are skeptical about businesses that are online and network marketing businesses, whether online or offline.

However, this business is very different from any I have ever seen. I believe the only real way to show skeptics that this business is legitimate is to let them see it for themselves and do the research. Let them see how you are doing with this business over time. let them look at the TripleClicksstore and the business model. Don't try to give lengthy explanations. Just let the business speak for itself.

SFI spoke for itself in 2001 when I joined. It still speaks for itself today. How else can there be such growth and such a family of affiliates? How else can there be such a store as TripleClicks? How else can there be such a fair payment of commissions, fun times and hard work, all melding together into this model? How else can there be such an open-door policy with the Support staff and Gery Carson as well? The training and support and accessibility of this business by anyone, including those with disabilities, is just phenominal! If any person can show something that is more legitimate than this business or that is better, I would challenge him/her to show me.

This is such a discussion point, because if truth be told, we all asked it.

My answer is, tell your own story.

The first time someone said to me, 'sounds like a pyramid and a scam', I had to google 'pyramid' and 'scam' to find out what they were.

A pyramid is where you get paid for signing people up, but you don't have to buy/sell any product. Well, that immediately put my mind at ease - selling products through TripleClicks is what we're paid to do.

A scam is where someone is trying to trick you out of your money. You should have heard me yell when I got my first SFI commission check/cheque. Bang! There you go - SFI was paying me, just like the website said they would. Totally squashed the scam theory!

I've told this story to everyone who asked (and everyone who didn't ;) )

And so I say, your personal story is the best story.

Sometimes, it’s good to be skeptical to prove if a business opportunity is legit or not. If I’m presenting the SFI business opportunity whether offline/online or to newly sign ups, I’ll consider the following steps:

1. Show them the facts about SFI. Direct them to the SFI website page: About SFI. They can find the important facts, the legitimacy and the 16 successful years of SFI operation.

2. Explain to them that starting requires no financial investment, no credit card, just the computer and Internet connection.

3. Show them that upon joining, they will receive free websites, extensive tools and resources and 24/7 customer support.

4. Explain to them that SFI requires long term commitment and there’s work involve. It’s a real business opportunity. You can even offer them Gift Cards to find out for themselves before joining. They can explore the TripleClicks’ Pricebender auctions that will probably cause them to think and consider.

That’s all you need to do. Let them experience the warm atmosphere and spirit of helping one another in the SFI community.

Remind them that SFI has been around since 1985 and since being taken over by Gery Carson, in 1998 has been steadily growing stronger and stronger, and has been helping affiliates from all over the world to become better marketers while paying out millions of dollars to help them gain success.

Also you can show them how Gery is always visible and has always been around for those who have questions. And his staff is always helpful and courteous, and always answers within 24 to 48 hours, any time you need help.

Also, the site is verified by GeoTrust, the premier agency that issues certificates for business, so it's very safe and secure. But anyone who joins a site should do their own due diligence before signing up, by reading the terms and conditions, privacy policy and faqs.

If they're still not satisfied, maybe you should just let them go until they decide for themselves. Some people are just not cut out for this business. Just move on to your next prospect and try them again in a few weeks.
