All SFI affiliates have to be concerned with this question at some point. That is why President Gery Carson put the, "Rules of Success," up on our SFI web site.

Don't give up on any affiliates, no matter what! Whether they sit at 0 and have not even confirmed registration or whether they have completed the entire VP Ledger, don't leave any affiliate out of the loop. Write to them every week at least once.

The affiliates who are making some effort or who are really doing well need encouragement and acknowledgement for a job well done if they have reached EA or any Team Leader level. Be sure you tell them you will share their accomplishments with other affiliates, either through the Stream, the Forum or both. If affiliates write to you for any reason, be sure to quickly respond to them, even if they simply wrote you a thank-you message or congratulated you on an achievement. Remember that kindness, courteousness and gentle direction and guidance pays off.

The affiliates who seem to not be doing anything right now might, through changes in circumstances or their thinking about your messages, begin to really work hard at this business and catch up or even surpass those who have been your movers for quite a while. Even if they don't, unless they allow the business to lapse or they cancel or opt out, don't completely stop communicating with them. It will pay off, because this will sort out the true workers from those who really don't want to be involved at all.

Above all, have fun with your business and enjoy meeting new people and loving them, because it is the business they are accepting or rejecting, not you. You set an example for them, whether they get the message or not.

With everything else in this business the same is true here, never give up. The keys to success are no secret, we see them all over this site. Educate yourself on the system and never give up. Just because a PSA does nothing, that does not mean they have fallen off the face of the earth. Have faith that they will return and continue to send them weekly messages (tips and advice). Even though no business is for everyone, you've come this far so don't give up. Continue building your business and eventually they might come around.

The attitude we need to do against affiliates who never do anything even though we provide constant encouragement and offers of support are:

1. Ask the obstacles faced affiliate
Often affiliates does nothing because it has a constraint that cannot be overcome by the affiliate.
We should ask what constraints faced by affiliates so that he doesn't do anything. Encountering obstacles that together, then the constraints it will be light and easy to complete.

2. Asking for things that are not yet understood affiliate.
Often affiliates does nothing because he doesn't understand what we teach.
As teachers, we must ask you to things that are already understood and things that are not yet understood.
To have understood what we teach, then the affiliate will be happy and excited to do activities as we teach.

3. Providing tips to achieve success
Everyone will feel happy when you can achieve success.
They will be eager to pursue success.

4. Provide evaluation of actions that have been done affiliate
Often affiliates does nothing because it never made a mistake in acting.
Provide an evaluation of the actions that have been carried the affiliation is crucial.Of this activity we will know the location of the error in affiliate action

5. Provide a solution.
Once we know the problems and obstacles faced in our affiliate team, the last step is to give solutions to problems that occur at our affiliates.

The things that we need to do against affiliate in our team who does nothing even though the impetus and the offer we have provided.

Dont worry and dont give up. As SFI is free to join many people just sign up and look whats inside. But the ones those go away are the ones who are not serious or maybe looking for overnight riches scheme. Keep working and one day you will get what you deserve. :) :) We all seem to have them, at least much of the time. Not knowing how much activity those 60 have had, what I say may not fit for you.A small $2 Gift Certificate might keep an affiliate from giving up. That $2 can get them 102VP. You get some change back as commission.If a PSA is doing nothing he is still at this time valuable. Reassign the PSA to another PSA so that PSA can earn 130VP a month for sending support mailers. You would be giving that PSA a better chance of being EA. More than that, he starts to learn to be a sponsor. You need that, and so does he.Some new affiliates will use up the one-time point and easily make EA quickly. Then they are in a quandary of how to get that many points again. They can use the 130VP for supporting a PSA.Quality is better than quantity, Go for both. Both is needed. But, SFI is designed to emphasize supportive sponsorship. And that is where your "work" really is.You can get a new PSA out of many enrollments that can "take the ball and run with it" without too much effort on your part. But those are few and far between. Keep enrolling and you will get some. Many of those inactive may possible come alive. Think of any similarity to your own life. We are all different and we are the same.They have about a year after their last log in before they are removed. SFI doesn't give up on them easily, and I won't either.

I send out emails still saying that we miss having you participate, I keep trying to get them involved by stating what they can become.

I sometimes even have them reassigned to see if they will bloom then. Sometimes another person can get the person to prosper with the other affiliates news even if it is the same thing that I gave.

The best thing to do is to be patient because the affiliates do not go at same pace, some need time, just be there for them when they do start doing the work that is needed to prosper with SFI.

Some do, some do not, oh well. who is next and work with your movers so they do not get left behind.

Hello Jacinta,
This is a very valid question.

My answer to this question is that you do nothing more and you do nothing less than what you are doing for all of your other affiliates.

You see this is a business about individuals. To do well a person must be self-motivated.

Of course, we all need help n the beginning, but, even in the beginning you can identify your motivated affiliates by the fact that they are taking the required basic actions and asking you questions that really matter.

If you have affiliates that are doing nothing, send them the same information that you are sending everyone else, but, you only need to worry and work with those that are responding to your efforts.

Don't waste your valuable time and information on those that are unmotivated.

In time they will either become motivated or just fade into oblivion. You see, ultimately, it's their choice to do or not do. You can only provide the opportunity.

I think that many SFI affiliates get discouraged by this behavior but unfortunately it is the nature of this business. Many others have said time and time again to just continue to do what you do. Keep sending out team mails, keep doing whatever you can to try and win them back. Sometimes those inactive affiliates need something more than a generic team wide mail. Sometimes a personalized email showing you are genuinely interested in helping them out and encouraging them to contact you to discuss their goals, concerns and answer any questions they may have is all it will take to get them active. I have had many PSAs who never even logged in before, become active PSAs several months later by this simple and personalized approach.

We as affiliates/sponsors need to recognize that thousands of new affiliates join daily, yet only a small percentage of them actually stick with the program and move on to become successful affiliates. It isn't that SFI doesn't offer them a great opportunity, but rather they just aren't ready or willing to commit to a business like the rest of us are. It's not personal, it's just business.

The secret of success in SFI - as it is in life - is to build relationships with people. And good relationships take effort and time. If you have affiliates in your downline, try to reach them 'outside' of SFI, by inviting them to your facebook page. In this way, they have some time to get to know you, so that they may feel that they can trust you. I believe that every single person who has made the effort to sign up to SFI has the dream in their heart to making a difference in their own life. Tell them who you are and why you have decided to build an online business on SFI. In this way you are encouraging them to let you know about their own situation in life, so that you may help with your own knowledge and experience to overcome any barriers to working on SFI. Always enCOURAGE - give words that build people up. Share things with them that you have found useful, or just funny - something to make them smile. Humour is a great way of building relationships. Don't be worried about how to write - simply write how you would speak. Also, if you can speak the language of the affiliate, use it to connect on a personal level. And finally, I believe in NEVER giving up on anyone!

Good question.

Personally I would like to cut them loose but that is not possible especially with your CSA's since SFI allows them to remain for 6 months if I am not mistaken and then let them go. We have more flexibility with our PSA's since we can shuffle them around. The most we can do is send our regular team-mails and hope that a spark awakens in them or if we have the time we can send them personal emails and also hope for a response.

I have come to terms with the fact that we won't win them all but work with the workers/movers and hope someday even 5 more will move out of the over 60 affiliates I
now co-sponsor / sponsor.

Do not let this get you frustrated since from your question this is what i am picking up. It's like we are corresponding with brick walls.

This is a good question and one we need to think about. Right now only about 1% of the people on my team are actually consistently working the business. So what I am doing is reviewing my ads. Are they sounding like the SFI business will instantly change their financial situation? Does my ad suggest others are doing the work and they will reap the benefits? What does my ad say to the reader. I believe our ads will affect the mental attitude new people have toward their SFI business.

Then I have thought about the 99% who are not working the business. Who are they? What are their needs, their goals, etc? Why did they respond to my ad? Which ad caught their attention? What in the ad caused them to fill out the capture form for more information?

When we remember these are people, real people, some of whom have been scammed maybe several times, and now they are skeptical. They need to see us as real people who care about them. When people understand that we care and will help them they will be more likely to start working their business. Certainly we are hoping to profit from the efforts of our team, but the money follows the work and the relationships we build with our people.

In summary, Analyze your ads for the message they convey, learn as much as possible about the needs and wants of your new team members, and show that you really do care.
