I would consider sending messages more than twice per week to be unnecessary and too much. If you send SFI's latest news to your team, it is also unnecessary because all you need to do is refer them to find the latest news. If you send your team the same message more than once then it is also too much and unnecessary.

When you have a team in which most of your affiliates are inactive, I also see it unnecessary and too much to introduce them to terms that they have not yet covered especially

Hello!

I strongly believe that business oriented people are self-driven. They ask questions when they need support, or they look for answers in the wealth of SFI training materials and tools. Your job as a sponsor is to help them find answers more quickly, if they ask you, or if you see they need it (in their VP Ledger).

Too much would be anything that is not asked for. Both your team members and you need time to do other things in SFI - collect VPs, generate Sales, etc. (all

In the beginning when new affiliates have just started, it is important for communication lines to be open so there would be a constant exchange of e-mails.

Communication is like food being fed to baby affiliates, in order to give nourishment for them to survive and thrive. So feeding them vital information, how-to's, FAQs, where-to find resources, to help, motivate them and nurture them until they become independent and strong enough to lead their own team, and thus duplication has been

Hello,

Too much is when the same person, especially the one that does not show interest, You are trying to contact several times a week by email.

It can be counterproductive and create resentment among them to this great program.
You must be careful not to exert too much pressure on them.
(this is for team members in Your genearology who do not start to work)

When they a part of Your team, under unnecessary communication is repeating the same information

If you have something important to share, something that you feel would benefit your team then by all means, send those communications. As long as your communications are filled with advise on how to build their business, letting them know you are there for them with any questions they may have. Stay away from sending communications about upgrading or spending money.

In their own time, they will notice that you are just about helping them and not so much interested in them upgrading.

Each one of us receives notations from SFI Admin, Upline, Sponsor and Co-Sponsor at least once a week. A minimum of 4-5 written communication are received in our inbox. We have reading materials: Launchpad, alerts and Forum to read. Hence, the tendency we get overwhelmed.

As a sponsor, I think a communication of once a week is enough, unless a particular affiliate will seek support and correspond for discussion on particular topic. Beyond this, communication becomes unnecessary or too

I think there is no such thing as too much communication when both sides are interested and communicating with one another. The problem usually arises when one side is silent!

There can also be misinterpretations of each other's intentions and individual expectations. As a team leader,I find I may have sometimes sent too many "suggestions" too quickly. I do this because I want everyone to progress as quickly as I think they could or may wish to. But such wish may sometimes turn

If you and your 1000 affiliates with only about 100 over 4 or 5 months in SFI do you really only what to send one weekly Genealogy Group Mailer, or would one a month be better? What I have read from SFI training is at least once a week. In other words, if all is going well, you have great sponsors of great sponsors of great sponsors, the minimum is once a week.

The training I understands is you also work individually with affiliates. TL's are required to maintain a MY Leadership Page.

Hi
Good question!!!

I receive emails and teammails all the time and its up to an individual, how to interpret and respond to the communique your personal way.
Sometimes pages and pages of information are distributed via medibooks, brochures, magazines etc..The question is how much information is absorbed? With SFI Basics,Launchpad and Start is self explanatory and this should not not be included in your teammail this information becomes repetitive and lengthy thus very litlle information

I have seen similar questions like this on Ask SC before. I would like to give you a way to put this question to rest. Send a genealogy mailer to your team. In the middle or 3/4 of the way through the message, place a contest. You can use co op shares or gift certificates. For example: The first 25 people to send a reply with there name and SFI id# will recieve a $2 gift certificate. Give a week and if no one responds to this, you are probably sending to many messages. After the week is over send
