Follow the basic principles given by many: Communicate positively, encourage, and praise/recognize.

A couple of things to remember:

1.) Everyone loves to see their name in "lights", recognize those who are working and let everyone know you are proud of them..this will encourage others to want to be there as well as motivate the current workers to move further along in their success!

2.) People love to hear success stories. Don't be afraid to brag every once

The key to finding affiliates who are truly interested in SFI and will remain active is to target your advertising, and to communicate with your team.

It is essential to target your advertising for people who are interested in creating an income from home. There will always be people who sign up to look around and never come back. However, if you target your advertising to people who have an interest in this kind of thing, you will have a higher percentage of affiliates who decide to

Not an easy task, to be sure.

-Check your active affiliates progress every day, on the Movers Page. Take advantage of every opportunity to recognize their progress and achievements.
-Mention or complement a recent contribution in the Forum.
-Review their General Ledger, look for actions they may have overlooked or missed.
-Offer special rewards to encourage next level of achievement.
-Direct to specific information, you think your affiliate should be aware of.

This a challenge that most of us here at SFI face with our down line teams. While it takes time and is involving to achieve, it is possible.

This is How I am doing it!

1. Open Up Your Communication Lines/ USE GENEALOGY!

Yes! Communication with your team is fundamentally important. You should be open to whatever questions they are putting forward and be available to answer them. Use your Genealogy to see how they perform and ask to help those who are struggling.

Dear Leslie,

Honestly, I can only tell you what not to do, as my affiliates are not engaged in discussing SFI with me. :D

* I send emails regularly. They are personalized, they congratulate on the achievements, offer help (to reach EA, e.g.) and announce competitions.

The only ones who stay in touch are PSAs in my generation 1, as I know them personally and we meet outside SFI.

I've even tried contacting some of my affiliates when I see they are online,

One thing to keep in mind is that no one can predict when an affiliate is ready to engage in SFI Business much more to be conversing with them as a leader or upline.

For me, I will continue to exert effort to let them know that I'm available for them and that they are free to reach me at anytime. Take every opportunity to update or share with them my progress and even my thoughts on the current development and issues in SFI.

On the other hand, the affiliate or affiliates under

Hi Leslie,

Your question is interesting and causes much frustration for many leaders. The fact is, so many people join SFI, but never work. This causes you to have a lot of inactive affiliates in your downline. Don't worry about whether they're active or inactive, just keep in contact with them ALL by sending group mailings. You never know when someone that's inactive will come back and start working. That person could become your star affiliate.

If you keep giving helpful

Hi Leslie! How are you today?

When you see your affiliates are on-line, you can use the very words I used to greet you at the top of this answer...(Hi [Firstname]! How are you today?)

If you get no response, it could be that they are shy, they don't feel confident speaking to you in English or they just don't feel confident speaking to you period. However... if you just say "Hi!" every time you see them online but don't push it any further, you'll be surprised how

The same way you engage in conversation with anyone else. You must be genuine. Don't make friends for the sake of what's in it for you. Make friends to be a friend. The same wholes true for networking with your affiliates.

You have to build liking and trust. You have establish that no matter what you are there for your team. When they have issues address them promptly. When they are silent don't you be silent if you want them to open up to you. You must get the conversation going.

To get your affiliates engaged and conversing regularly with you, you need to be an awesome sponsor to them. Not just a sponsor but a father and a friend. No affiliates would want to converse regularly with an inactive sponsor.

Try and connect with them through mediums that they can be reachable easily as in social sites like facebook, twitter, etc. Use this mediums to share successful tips and also tell them successful stories about the top leaders in SFI.
