Not an easy task, to be sure.
I make good use of the Team Message icon in the Genealogy page and on the Movers Page.
I use it to respond to the following;
-Check your active affiliates progress every day, on the Movers Page. Take advantage of every opportunity to recognize their progress and achievements.
-Mention or complement a recent contribution in the Forum.
-Review their General Ledger, look for actions they may have overlooked or missed.
-Offer special rewards to encourage next level of achievement.
-Direct to specific information, you think your affiliate should be aware of.
-Leave a message of support or encouragement.
And in every communication, be sure to leave with an invitation for questions,
concerns or problems they may be having.
I, also find, the more "active" you are the easier it is for your affiliates to feel comfortable communicating with you.
For example, regularly posting in the Stream, maybe every other day,
instead of three times once a week.
Offering your help, comments or assistance in the Forum.
Making sure you send out a Team Email once a week.
I have couple of affiliates who prefer a phone conversation. If possible, try to make yourself available.
There is Skype, Google+hangouts, Facebook Fan and Groups in FB and others that also can be utilized.
The most important item is to be available.
Stay vigilant in monitoring your affiliates and look for those
opportunities to show you are a sponsor that cares.
