Encourage them to earn 500 VP on their first day. This will let them earn the extra 500. Then encourage them to reach 1500 VP in their first month. Keep in touch with them and let them be satisfied with that for the time being, but let them study SFI and learn as much as they can about their business in the first month because SFI is complicated. Of course let them talk to their friends and relatives and also their well-wishers. If they stay above the green line and earn 1500 early in the month SFI's letters of congratulations and encouragement will go a long way to assist you with the rest of your desire to motivate your affiliates and if they make a sale or two they will see the tremendous potential of SFI

The most important point is to inspire your affiliate. Try to get them to believe that they will make EA the second, third, etc., month by inspiring, working with them to discover points, and encourage them to spend on standing orders and how inexpensive they can be. I use my sponsor as an example and she is progressive.
I keep them motivated by letting them know that they are building a growing monthly residual check and SFI is not a quick get rich business. Keep it simple, have fun, follow instructions and do the things necessary to get the results.Have patience, make a commitment to work the business and learn all you can and success will come. Make sure that you understand how you get paid by studying the compensation plan.
I tell them Rome wasn't built in a day and I remind them that SFI is not a get rich scheme and that those types of programs are usually scams invented to make someone else money.
SFI is a real business and has to be treated as one for a person to be successful. It won't happen overnight no matter what business you choose.
I also tell them the education they get here is well worth the money, and they're getting it for free. Once they get settled into doing the things they have to do in order to make money, the money will come. A little at first then as they go through the levels, more and more.
I don't softsoap it. It takes a lot of patience and steady effort to get there
