You will know how much time to devote to SFI to become successful when you have developed a pattern of learning about the SFI business and putting the new knowledge and experience into action.

You will need to learn the business which will take anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes a day at the beginning to go through the Launchpad lessons (and absorb the information). One of the things we learn is to complete the daily, monthly and other actions to earn VP on a regular basis (which also exposes us to new things and good reviews of things we learn if we truly pay attention to everything in our To-Do List). For me, even with experience, that can take about 30 to 45 minutes.

Then depending on experience and how large your team is, you will learn how much time you need to spend each day in communicating with your team and doing the things that will grow your team and make sales. For most people, I suspect that will run from 1 to 3 hours a day. This would also include planning and starting advertising campaigns and talking with people.

If you are working toward making SFI your full time income, a standard work week of 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week will allow you to learn what is needed and start reaching your goals within months. Things should be growing enough so in 6 months to a year you will be feeling the good income, and then because of the kind of business this is, some work days will be busy, and some will just take care of themselves.

If you are asking how many hours you must devote to SFI/TC each week to become successful, I would say that you may not be willing to invest the time needed to become successful. Or that it might take you much longer than you expect. Here again, you may just be counting the cost in order to schedule your time. But as you can see, many of the answers are in the minimalist corner.

Twenty minutes to do the Daily's? I like to linger with My Movers. If they've earned more than 11 vp, I check their vp ledgers to see where they are focusing their attention. I may drop them a quick Stream message or Genealogy mail, especially if they have come to a milestone.

At the Stream I check my old posts to see if there are any new replies. And I go through those of my friends and ECA contacts, and see uif /gery ir my upline have written anything new.

I do the rest of the Daily's in the same manner. I glean the information and inspiration from them.

But the Daily's and the rest of the To Do List, while important, are not the end of our daily work. Most answers have not included communications with up and down line and others, joining in the Forum discussions, and promoting all of the facets of SFI/TC including submitting ads, blogging, doing auctions, and bragging about this business. Set aside some time daily to work some, not alol, of these intermediate and advanced activities.

Spending minimum time working on SFI will get you minimum compensation. You reap what you sow. Sows do not give birth to lambs. Sew not purses from sows ears. So, what I'm saying is minimum time, effort, investment in means minimum time, effort, investment out.

Allot time and use it to get the whole job done each day. Write your own To Do List each day. Do all of it. Use it to answer the new Goal question on the Daily's.

In any business, we need to invest TIME to become successful. Having time for what you’re doing is necessary to have a good and best outcome.

SFI is a home-base business. You can do anytime in a day. And being a manager itself you can manage your time to plan your activities, setup your work, change and adjust your time base on some work condition and other possibilities.

As a beginner or new (1 to 6 months), you need more times to learn all the methods, tools and techniques especially on marketing and advertising to get PSAs as well as on how to teach them to do duplication. Maximum of 4 hours a day times 7, 28 hours maximum per week is enough time for you to learn the basic techniques required for this business.

Next is Intermediate (6 to 12 months or 1 year), by this time you have enough knowledge about the business. You can reduce or increase your time depends on your business activity. If you are ECA and offering good products and having a large volume of sales, so definitely you need more times for your store. But if you are only concentrating with sponsoring and duplication method, you can adjust or balance your time needed for your work activities.

Last is Professional (more than 1 year) this time, if you have already establish a profitable team, you don’t need much time because most of your PSAs are Team Leaders. Your work mostly involve in monitoring and supervising them. Maybe 2 hours daily is enough.

Therefore, you need to be allotted time in SFI by having plan and direction in achieving your long term goals.

I believe that you should devote as many hours as you feel you can in order to start making money and becoming a success.
If you only log in to do the daily tasks, you are not getting the full benefits of the SFI website and your business.
In order to become successful, you need to put in about 4-5 hours a day.
This is not a hard to do.

If you owned a brick and mortar business you would probably have to be there 8-10 hours a day and work 7 days a week. I know, I've owned several businesses and this was the only way to make them a success.

In 4-5 hours time you can:
1) promote the business
2) Do the daily tasks
3) Read information on the SFI website
4) Check out TripleClicks

This doesn't have to be done all at one time.
Just when you have a few minutes during the day or in the evening.

You can promote your business off-line, when you are out running errands, during lunch, after work, or on weekends. Whenever you are out.

I average around 3-4 hours per day.

The other 20% I spend generatng leads at around 30 different sites I belong to.

Treat SFI as a real job where you have to turn up to work. BUT instead of leaving home you go to your computer for the hour's you are employed.

Finish with Ask Questions, click the Go button then after reading, rate it yes or no.
You will read valuable information here daily. I reckon no matter how long you have been a member at SFI their is always new idea's to check out daily.

Remember it takes time, dedication, communication, duplication and most important promoting to achieve success. The more you put in the more rewards.

You can create quite a snowball effect, growing larger day by day, month by month, year by year.
The possibilities are endless.

Concerning the hours per week that one should devote to SFI to become successful will depend on a lot of factors:
1) The goals set by the affiliate considering his education in the SFI model;
2) the time frame he purposes to achieve these goals;
3) The feasibility of the goals in the time frame set;
4) The time used for advertising;
5) The means used for advertising;
6) The investment in $ amount he can afford;
7) The duplication methods used for leverage;
8) How he perceives success for himself;

a) Because some goals are set with an unreasonable audacity, meaning that the affiliate wants at the start to make a million dollars his first month when he has not set his feet well enough in the water. He is not familiar with the SFI model yet and wants to use magic to achieve the goals. He will be complaining soon. The time frame is not appropriate.
b) Advertising takes time, and if the budget does not match the quick success you expect, it is a waste of time. An affiliate should consider his means when setting his goals: time, money, self motivation, education on the SFI business, and devotion. Even if you can start this business for free, you should consider some monetary investment (e.g. S-Builder Co-op)
C) Duplication has to be considered that the effort is multiplied, and time and money should be in the equation. Moreover One’s perception of success cannot be measured by someone else’s perception. For one affiliate $100/month is success, while $5000/month is failure for the other affiliate, according to the way of seeing success and the effort generated to achieve it.
To sum all this, success is measured, even in SFI, by the perception of the one pursuing it, and the effort set to reach it…
…But, if an affiliate follows the SFI model systematically he will achieve some level of success to his satisfaction. It will grow according to his devotion and will follow a pattern based on his perception. There is no pre-set timing per week for success. The more hours the better. An affiliate should devote enough time to his business and be persistent in his pursuit of success. I think he should devote at least five good hours per week at the beginning. If you don't have that time do something still. At the end your castle will be built. It will only takes you more time to build.

Though the amount of time you commit to your SFI business matters a lot, I wouldn't specifically commit myself in terms of hours. Success depends on what you do in the so many hours you spend on your business.

It's always prudent to spend time doing something beneficial. You need to have a good plan and work according to your plan. The things you need to do include mainly sponsoring new people and making a sale at TripleClicks. You also need to spend time at your SFI Affiliate Center and at TripleClicks. The first two activities I have mentioned require you to market.

Marketing is what successful online income earner do everyday and most of the time. But to succeed you do not have to market blindly. You have to do certain things and do them right. Effective marketing takes much of your time.

I conclude by saying that yes, time matters. But to be successful you have to spend your time marketing and doing things the right way. It's not enough to visit your SFI Affiliate Center / TripleClicks and you stop at that. Some of the successful SFIers don't visit regularly but they earn big. I know a few already.

How many hours a week?

In my profile when I started I put down 21 - that's 3 hrs a day average.
Now in my 3rd. month I am spending actually a little more.

The time needed to do the things to keep alive has shortened, one can do these in less than 45 minutes, that includes reading all answers for the Daily Grand.

But the more I learned the more questions it created.

Then the excitement of the Price Bender Auctions, the Forum etc. - this can add up. Yet the time spent is only of benefit to you. Dedicate your first 30 days to the Launchpad and 14 hrs a week should be efficient.

Then when you start building YOUR business - well, just like in the Mortar & Brick world, a 80 hour week can sometimes not be enough.

Don't let me scare you away - the more you get to know SFI the more anxious you get to spend more time here.

The first and most important success strategy that you can adopt is to treat your SFI business like a real business, not a hobby. There are basic proven success strategies that the highly successful SFI affiliates put into practice on a daily basis.

Most people start an Internet home based business while still working a day job in the hope of making some quick and easy money in their spare time. This "part-time" attitude will lead to disappointment and failure. A "full time attitude" is required to build a successful SFI business in the few hours available. It is not so much on the hours but the actions.

To build a successful and profitable SFI business you need to apply basic business principals with a full time attitude to everything related to the business i.e. sales, sponsoring, duplication, pricebender auction, ECA etc.

Be firm with yourself and make the decision to either get into business or get out.

Like any other business, time management is of utmost importance. Decide what is important and what is urgent. Have a daily task list with time limits on each.

If you are new to Internet Marketing it is obvious it will take more time to learn.
However, each of us must determine for ourselves how much time we are willing to devote to become a success.

Personally, I suggest learning SFI at your own pace to absorb the material and logistics.
Next, I would develop a daily schedule.
Follow that schedule religiously, adjust it when needed.

Starting out an hour or two a day is good. You will find, however, as you build your downline, become more active in promotional methods and advertising, maintaining contact, etc., some days could go longer.

As mentioned above, how much time it takes depend on your capability to learn and implement what you have learned to become a success.
