I don't really think that there's any kind of sign to tell if your new affiliate will dedicate his/her time to the business for SFI.
It takes a lot of hard work and focus on this business due to all of us affiliates are continuing to build a business with our teams from all over the world.
If you think that new affiliate is not serious, well then... it will not be worth your time to even push them to be motivated with this business.
A lot has to do with rumors and people talking about bad experiences in their past. But you have to eliminate SFI because SFI has been a legitimate business for a very long time.
It's not a Ponsi Scheme where everyone will be losing a lot of money while in fact, you will gain more money.
I hope that in the future, all affiliates will not judge a new affiliate if their a good one or not because it's not right. it's not being equally to all that would like to be serious with SFI business.
Thank you and I hope this help you answer your question.

When you check your emails and send them your welcome email. If they reply on a regular basis eager to learn. Then this is a great indication that they are willing to learn. Always stress to them that it takes time dedication duplication and most important promoting to achieve results. When you see their results at your movers tab, be sure to let everyone know of their achievements, when you next do a stream posting.
I update all my down line by sending them weekly emails. I also in the email add my top 10 movers. This lets everyone know that it is achievable to grow their SFI business larger day by day by being involved.

...The best way to see is new affiliate gonna be a good one is how often he/her logging on SFI. If an affiliate log in everyday, he can be assumed to be active. After that you can watch is he/her active on forum or team mail discussions. If affiliate interested in working on SFI he/her must ask or work a lot to find answers. Also, a standing order is a great indicator. But, every affiliate can bee a "good" one. Give the opportunity to EVERY affiliate. You never know which one could be "a good one"...

The better sign up has prior knowledge of SFI and wants to get some of its action. These are normally, a friend or family of the sponsor.
The others, who have no clue, will show trust in, and the desire to learn SFI. Count the number of sign-in times and measure over-all amount of time spent here in the beginning. Completion of registration, photo and FAST TRACK badge are good indicators. The new affiliate will always register growth because of yearning to learn how to invest. She/he will act as soon as they learn; e.g. duplication is important so, write an invitation letter to future PSA's and CSA's. Such actions that costs, not a penny are a must.
The sign galore is an avid interest in achieving the 3 step plan as a bare minimum.

Nice question
So many sponsor have always thought affliates who rushed into the business are always the best. Here is one thing, there is difference when you have your passion growing for something and when you realize that you cant meet up with the requirements for keeping up your passion for that thing. Earning the ealier VP makes them more passionate but when they realize they had to get more VP's especially when money is needed they begin to draw back. Some may draw back and push froward again when they know they have to undergo some risk. But some are always curious, they want to know how to get more VP, they realiy want to be the best. Its confusing sometimes but all affliate are very important and could be good if you encourage them more. Sincerely you know those who are good in their second and third month.

Is there an answer to that? If so, I am still looking for it myself.
Sometimes the "Initial Spark" is much bigger than the "eternal flame" - some make the Fast Track look very slow, only to fade away when there's no visible instant results.
Once you see the determination and enthusiasm fading slightly, as sponsor I would take a close look why and get in touch with him/her. Available resources might be limited to the person to advance or stay at least EA.
A "good" affiliate I believe is recognizable after the 30 day Launchpad.
And yes, I too wish good prospects would be printed in RED letters. ;)

When they contact you and ask questions, you know you have an affiliate who is eager to get started. Always answer them quickly and give them the one on one attention for a while until you see that they're ready to go on their own.
Many will sign up and never even take another look. So if an affiliate is asking questions and following directions, then you definitely have a good one.
In my opinion a first sign is when he confirms he is serious, that he wants to remain in SFI. Also, a sign can be when you see he places two or three Standing Orders or purchases willing to qualify or when he asks you several times something so that you can realize his interest in this activity, and he has continued for more than 2 months or practically when you see that he has a technique to remain above the Green Line and applies it so that he remain in the E365. More precisely and more generally speaking at the same time, when you see him fighting -those are the signs.

One of the signs that a new affiliate is going to be a good one is by learning to know how it works.
When a new affiliate makes his 1500 Versa points with the few hours that he signed up.
Participate in tipple clicks auction exercise, also buy products from the store and each of these products comes with big points.
Always ask questions, learn from your sponsor who is already there before you and always ensure that you are always higher and above the green lines.
Take up your tasks on daily basis; answer the question on Launch pad. Be eager to learn new thing every day in SFI
