You won't ever be able to accurately predict who will be good. What that means is that someone might start strongly then drop off a bit OR if they were like me, they take a week or so before they really see the potential.
They KEY is to be their supporting them.
The main things I look out for however are:

Them featuring on My Movers i.e. daily activity
reaching EA status THEN maintaining it the next month.
Being RESPONSIVE to the emails you send them

You will know they are good ONCE they ARE good! Don't try and guess or predict, its a waste of time!

if new affiliate is doing a great job so far by filling in, stepping in and assuming the every day catching “to-do” ,certainly you will assume he's only going to get better, and better by every day. As long as he continues to want to learn and absorb the information and gain those experiences, yes, he will be. Good sign. No need to look upon how much he invests (pressing on standard orders or any order indeed is not a good advice as you can scare your PSA’s – you have no insight into his budget), but how much he is eager to learn and grow.
You, as sponsor have to do your homework, without looking for signs. Welcome message, personal message with your offer to help, using VP ledger to know exactly where your affiliate is stuck, daily following...all this will help, but with a new level of progression comes new challenges, some will be up to it, some will not. So patience is needed to “know”.

I understand this as really a new affiliate not somebody who has already performed some major actions like standing order/achieved some milestones like EA2 etc. Some body who is still in the very early stages with affiliate status only.. For this i would like to classify affiliates not as Good or Bad.

ACTIVE affiliates is one who will do things on has own initiative & even when he has doubts , he will not wait for the sponsor to reach him. A active affiliate doesn't require Supervision, but appreciation for his initiatives , Motivation for higher achievements & Guidance at critical stages

REACTIVE affiliates is one who will not do things on his initiative but will react positively to directions from sponsors. Sponsors may have to reach them more often for that. Hence they need Direction, reasonable supervision in addition to appreciation for their actions & Motivation of a higher level .

NON ACTIVE affiliates(I am not calling them inactive/Not-active because they have
taken initiative to join SFI) are those who are not initiative takers ,not immediate reactors &may call for repetitive prodding from Sponsors & hence may call for total supervision ,Direction more than appreciation & Motivation. If after couple of positive initiatives from sponsors if they are not responding better for Sponsor not to concentrate on them &spend more time for the first 2 categories & New developments.

Log in immediately after signing up
do all the basics such as completing the profile, loading a photo, and completes all activities to become a fast track
read each lesson per day in launch pad and answers the quiz
takes guidance from sponsors
contacts sponsor for any clarification
understand the basics of SFI
shows excellent involvement and commitment to SFI
should get motivated from the sponsor and work with dedication

Good affiliates could be known by their performances.

Firstly, those that make sure they perform their daily duties. Just like a good student they create a timetable that will help in assuring that some few hours per day are dedicated to the business. When you notice their daily actions, then it shows they are good.

Secondly, those that always perform the daily, weekly and monthly actions not forgetting visiting the business store (TripleClicks) are also fine.

Thirdly, we have affiliates that check on the stream posts and either comment on them or post their own streams. By doing this, they prove that they are learning something and also showing confidence in expressing what they learn.

Good affiliates will always communicate with the upline. If you come across any asking questions, then that is the one to work with.

Last but not the least, good affiliates will make sure that they keep their rank. Especially the EA status. In case an affiliate goes as far as purchasing items on TripleClicks just to get the VPs that will make him/her remain in the current rank, then that is an affiliate that is going to be perfect.

Good question, in my opinion it is difficult to tell what signs that will indicate a new affiliate will be a good one. Some signs that I like to see in a new affiliate is consistency, determination, being able to follow instructions, and one who is not intimidated to ask questions.
Since SFI payout is based on the volume of VP a new affiliate should show that they understand the importance on gaining these points daily. I would say an affiliate who in the second month sign- up for a standing order shows that they understand that it also takes money to become successful.
Keep a watch on those who are working hard and smart and help them to move forward. These are the one who shows signs of building their business by sponsoring affiliate and looking for ways to promote the business. At the end of the day it will be those who display longevity.

Well I must say that there are really no hard and fast rules as to spotting spot on which will turn out to be a good one its everybody’s guess that is as much as there are tell tale signs such
as being a Fast Tracker ,being 1 of your Top Movers ,show that they are somehow doing their part in doing the daily Versa Points to do list .having new affilates joining them be it PSA or ECA and have some financial commitment like a Standing order or some small purchases or even being and staying eligible thru out the E365 period – well all this are good signs that he or she is on the right path to a successful business with SFI.
However I must say that somehow or rather in the event that the new affiliate do not show any of the above signs lets not prejudge but keep on motivating and keeping in touch with them regularly via the various communication channels available for all we know some of them will do nothing for a few months and then all of a sudden spring back into action

In order to determine if an affiliate is going to be a good one you have to give that person sometime before you start assessing the affiliate.

Some people take time to take it seriously .

After giving them time to get to know about SFI and supporting them regularly check their
Versa Points Ledger which gives you a very good picture of their activity.

Check their goals to find out if they are optimistic.

find out how much time and money they can invest which gives you a clue.

If you find that they are not performing well give them some incentives and try to make them good.

Considering the global evolution of numerous business opportunities and the amplified promises of lucrative earnings for affiliates it is evident that their are certain personalities and mindsets that are definitely not compatible with some prospect whose interest is been sought, ie some things are not for certain type of people.Vitamins, health beverages.energy etc. Therefore the question that should be asked is not "what are the signs that a new affiliate is going to be a good one" as opposed to "what characteristics or traits will determine that a new affiliate will be an outstanding and successful affiliate"? It is true that we are all seeking to discover that special business builder so you never make them fell worthless. Instead you make them believe in them selves by your belief in them. So here a few characteristics or traits that says a new affiliate will be successful.
filiate gets in touch with you, you know that he/she has hit the ground running. The common practice is to chase affiliates as opposed to them chasing you.

2.They assume responsibility for their success from the "GET GO" as oppose to dumping on your shoulders.This does not mean opportunity abandonment or rejection on your
1.When that new afpart. It is a way of allowing the new affiliate to develop and expand under your watchful eyes.

3.They come into the light as opposed to staying in the dark.They are communicators, team players and very receptive to coaching.

4.They never try to reinvent the wheel but follow the process of duplication and replication while adding their personal skills and experience as they forge the path to success.

5.They share a common vision.

Hello Nsikak,

Every affiliate is depending on how you plan on helping them to succeed.
As a newbie I wanted large downline to earn a nice percentage of each and every month. Have invested in affiliates sign up 10+5 and discovered that all of them have signed at the same date and never came back on line again. Second day I send personal welcoming message to all. Nothing happened. After two days I send another letter (not using group mailing) with a catchy subject: “fastest way to become EA”. Nothing happened. After two days, again, I sent a personal message: “40 clicks per day to enter in daily grand prizes + VP’s”. Messages were short, up to the point and out of 15 unresponsive affiliates, now I have 3 PSA’s actively involved.
So, don’t judge to soon and remember: “Helping EVERY affiliate sooner rather than later, can be a great way for you to succeed in your business too”.
The rest is very easy.
Use your genealogy report, use affiliate manager tool to check your PSA's activity and ‘signs’ are all there.
Go to checklist, its very important, as its allowing you to create a personal relationship with your affiliate and help.
Group e-mailing is for points; One on one communication is for success.
