Good question! I read this quote before "He who aims at nothing will hit it" So goal is important. This is one question that we answered when we sign up for SFI. But that was about our long term goals.
Now the question is for this year 2013. Different affiliates are on different stages of their SFI business so the goal may differ. But generally there are stages here at SFI.
1) Stage 1 - Learning while earning a little.
The goal here will be to understand SFI business model and the success factors.
2) Stage 2 - building your foundation.
The goal here is to recruit massive affiliates. Which is the foundation of your business.
3) Stage 3 - Building the structures.
The goal here is to assist people in your organization to get established while you continue with stage 2. You also explore other possible income streams like ECA Price benders and others.
4) Stage 4 - Mentoring and maintaining.
The goal here is Mentoring the hard working people in your organization and maintaining what you are doing in stage 2 and 3 probably in lower intensity.

You can make detail plans out of these different stages. And sometimes this may not be linear but rather over lapping and parallel depending on your capacity and skills.

Thanks a lot to my dear friend David for asking such a good question and at the best time possible ,as this is the beginning of the year and almost all of us are in the planning mood.
I have an easy and simple formula of planning and achievement for the year 2013 and I think all our friends in SFI can use and take its benefits.SFI offers us a brilliant opportunity and plateform to LEARN,EARN and GROW our business and career to its utmost potentials.So,attention please.Strive to learn one new skill everyday in 2013 and be committed to implement it instantly and seriously.Knowledge and learnings become useless if we do not implement them.So my goal for this year is that I will learn one new skill every day without fail and will implement it instantly and improve it daily.I am sure, a miracle is going to happen in my life and career this year.Thanks for reading.

Whether you are generating Triple Clicks income, ECAs, additional affiliates, be specific. Your goal may be to add three ECAs this quarter and three affiliates. Are your goals measurable? Are your goals attainable? Are your goals realistic and are they timely?
The best goals for your SFI business are goals you feel are the most important steps in growing your business. Perhaps you need additional training in Word Press – how will you obtain this training. A good way to check and balance your skills is to review the Launchpad information you worked through at the beginning.

Thank you for asking! Remember, when it comes to goals they need to follow the "smart" rule of thumb.

1. S - Specific. A goal must be specific. "I will sponsor 10 affiliates this month by advertising my blog on twitter, facebook, yelp, and other social networking sites." Along with the declaration be sure to have a definite plan of action that will get you their. In order to be effective at social marketing strategies you need to post consistently on network sites around a central theme. At least 4 posts per week but usually about 3 per day is needed to build recruiting momentum.

2. M - Measurable. Measure your progress to see if you are on target to hit your goal. This is where tracking is big. If you are off target then you must adapt your marketing strategy so that you can hit the target in a timely fashion.

3. A - Achievable. What's achievable for some may not be achievable for others. But given the same scenarios you can achieve what has been achieved in the lest much more with a solid strategy you can out perform your wildest expectations. Aim High. Dream Big! You know where your skill level is. If you are not good at recruiting, then don't expect to recruit 30 PSAs this month when you have not recruited 10 PSAs in the last 90 days!

4. R - Realistic. Accordingly, let's be honest about our expectations. If you have never gotten a commission from SFI, I can tell you that your first one will probably be small. Mine was $6.33 in 2010 after 3 years of seeing $0.00!

5. T - Timely. Without a deadline, a goal is just wishful thinking. Moreover, without a plan to get to your goal, you set yourself up for failure before you ever begin. The main thing to do is to give yourself plenty of time to learn the tricks of the trade. Then, expect the best out of your marketing strategy and track your results over time to get maximum results.

Hence, a good goal for 2013 is to grow your PSAs, ECAs, PRMs, CSAs, and product line by 10%. Shoot for 10% growth in everything you do. If you get less, ask yourself why, tweak and retweak - then; try it again until you have grown your business by 10%. It may not come when you think but if you shoot for this, it is DEFINITELY a "smart" thing to do! :) Wilg!

Let me tell you about my goal in this new year.

Well My this new year goal this "MAKING STRONG AND DEEP ROOTED TEAM"
I can see that in SFI making deep rooted team enables you to have lifelong income by matching versapoints. Even my ability to get people understand SFI system is very nice so i want to use my ability to achieve my goal. I know this is slow process but I am sure it will gradually develop my business and will be very beneficial for future for me. Though it will take much hard work but i am ready for it because fruits of hard work is always sweet. Well I am I.T engineer and wanted to get admission in MBA(Master of Business Administration) in good B-School of India and then I will spread this SFI business by giving lecture and seminar to whole business school . Because i will get many Good business minds there. It will be easy to grow up my business their and will also have good reputation in my B-school. I am looking forward to ECA also in near future of digital products.

Everyone has their own goal to achieve in new year.

its true that alll of us has different expectations and different goal. in opinion set ur goal which is realistic, achivavable, satisfies u.

most impprtantly, fix a solid goal and do not compromise with that. put your consistent effort and you will reach your goal before time

This question may have multiple answers according to the status of affiliates.
For freshers or newbie goal's are different , for not so new one's like me ,goal's will differ and for elder affiliates ,goal's will differ again.

I rather start with freshers:-

The goal for freshers for the first two months should only be to focus on understanding the whole plan and alongside whatever commissions they make is like a bonus.Recruiting new peoples daily and achieving and retaining EA status month after month should be there ultimate goal , and once they have built a good team under there leadership ,then the should try to achieve team leader status.

For not so new one's or intermediate members like myself:-

As we have more or less understood SFI plan properly and now we have a good no. of affiliates in our team. Our focus slowly should shift to refer few good PRM's and ECA Stores,so that we can add a handsome amount to our monthly commissions. But we can't ignore our PSA's at all as they all are relatively new to SFI and need our guidance at all time. It's a double job for people like us , but our goal for the year must be to strengthen our base for rest of the life.Our work at this point of time will determine how much successful we can be ,after few years.

Finally ,Elderly or Established members:-

I assume they all have established them self here and even there team members have become self dependent.So there workload is now much less comparing to other members.
And with due respect to all of them, I think ,now they are in a position to guide whole community of SFI and strengthen SFI. And this may be a good goal to shoot for in SFI ,not only for this year but for years to come.

Great question for this time of the year!

I agree with Ronilo that learning more about SFI and how to do the business should be at the top of the list of goals for the year.

Goal planning should also be at the top: Every successful SFI affiliate needs to have clear goals and a well-defined purpose for doing what they do. Clarity will motivate you and it creates focus.

Of course, your training efforts and your clearly defined goals need to be purposeful, so perhaps the BEST goal to shoot for is an INCOME GOAL.

1. How much income do you want to earn this year?

2. Break it down by the month, by the week and by the day. (That is how you create clarity.)

3. Based on your daily income target, what exactly will you have to do to earn that amount of daily income? Go through the SFI Sales training to learn and practice the recommended marketing and sales techniques.

4. Now that you know your daily target and the marketing methods necessary to achieve it, create a daily plan of action that includes the actions and steps necessary.

5. Commit! Don't get lazy or frustrated. Don't make excuses. Commit to doing those daily activities without fail.

6. Be patient. It won't happen overnight, and you will encounter some roadblocks and setbacks. Simply be dedicated, persistent and confident that your daily efforts WILL eventually build a foundation that will produce the results you are targeting...

My goal in this year is,
1. The important thing is keep a good team work
2. Learning more about this SFI
3. Not hoping too much, i hope i can add 15 psa this year.
4. Be a good sponsor or co sponsor
5. Become a btl in the end of the year

Thats a perfect question in this month of year.
It depends on individual that what is a good goal for him or her because everyone has different limitations and resources.
Like for some person 100,000$ is a good income but for some even 10,000$ is enough so never compare your goal to others,but in a general way here are the points that you must look out before setting a aim.

1. Understand all the sfi basics as soon as you can but it will be better if you take help of some experienced person because you will learn fast then. After understanding basics,set your aim with resources you have.

2. After that you should check out tripleclicks,how it works and what you can do there.
Like ECA program,Pricebenders,Commisions etc.

3. Also look out for w3 program and its benefits.

After completing these steps,set your aim which you gonna achieve this year and as i said "do not compare it with others".Also give proper time to these steps , you will achieve your aim faster then.
