I have not used Live Chat much because when I have tried, it was after the affiliate was no longer there and he really was searching for me. I think it's a great idea, but really need reminder when affiliate is on so I can reach him while online.
Live chat is an obvious way to develop a closer relationship and understanding of those who are from entirely different circumstances than you. Without knowing more about your affiliates, you can not really help them.
I have an EA from Egypt who is suffering much. Before I knew his circumstances, I was telling him about the benefit of standing orders not realizing he was unable to come up with payment for the standing orcer which he thought would be paid from his SFI income. So, his Standing Order didn't get paid and it affected his struggling business adversely because it was not able to be continuous. This tells me I should not be giving advice to my affiliates unless I understand their economy, dollar currency exchange rates, where they stand financially, and how quickly they expect to be in a positive financial status with SFI.
There are several means of contacting our affiliates. The Chat room is more for getting answers to questions not specifically answered by SFI. It IS A WAY of getting to know how PSA's are reasoning. Are they expecting miracles of financial growth? And to receive other thoughts on company rules and policies. It is meant to be a soundboard or town hall of discussion. It is like the social networks. They can develop personal relationships or destroy them. I have found FaceBook and Tweeter to be VERY TIME CONSUMING. You must determine if time spent in the Forum is productive, and informative, or is it distracting from your daily advancement. I therefore acclaim its value to some, and its failure to others. YOU HAVE TO DECIDE FOR YOURSELF.

I what I liked most was that I could talk to my sponsor U.S. and resulted only language, ami I went out in Spanish and the English and so is perfect for conversation and if this system would put a chat as the facebook and that results would be above the system bomba.otro would like a social network to talk to all colleagues and I think you could do on the page 2a2

Whenever I see that my Sponsor is online, I smile and send my greeting and then interact on a one on one basis to get assisted on any matter in SFI that I may have been struggling with. I have often found my Sponsor very helpful in real time. It has always been a golden opportunity for me to talk, as it were, to my Sponsor and make SFI feel more as a personal relationship with one another.
I imagine that those that have a large genealogy may not have sufficient time to chat with many. I use this to my advantage too, because on the other hand I also imagine not many affiliates would have the time to chat and so I almost always chat with my Sponsor whenever I see that bubble there. Please do and let's make this business more personal as much as it is in the internet.

When I see my team members are online I try to catch them and have a conversation when time is available and find out how they're doing or if they need help or anything. I think this builds trust and gives them a good base to work with letting them know that I'm actually there for their assistance.
The SFI's Live Chat feature is very useful! It is the fastest way to exchange messages with my downline and upline that are online than other messaging tools, Most especially, welcoming those that just joined SFI, sending tips to those that managed to login and also to message upline that are not helping and managed to come online. I also believe that at SFIIM (SFI Instant Messaging), IM signifies urgency.
Yes i have used it many times and i am happy to say that i always got good results.
But the main thing is how and when to use it.
1. Do chat with the team mate u know already like your friends,family,classmates,office mates etc. It will ensure them that you are active here and giving right guidance.

The live chat feature comes in handy, especially when email communication is not possible or temporarily not available or affiliates in my downline are not up-to-date with their emails. One way to communicate with my team is through this yellow bubbles. Communication is such an important part in SFI and this feature makes it possible to give my support to my team and make them feel that I am always be there, if they need me.
That yellow flag is a great way to communicate with your upline when they are on the site when you are. You can ask your upline all the questions you want to know and get an answer the same day.
