I have affiliates who are inactive. Is it a good idea or bad idea to reassign them to my active affiliates?

Always there is hope. And there are chances. Here should be a hope. Sometime changes are better. So re-assigning your in-active affiliates to active affiliates will give you some benefits which you will not get without re-assigning:
1. You will get 5vps if the reassigned affiliate scored 600vps or above.
2. Your affiliate whom you assigned will be encouraged. But tell him/her that this is an assignment for him/her to get expertise using SFI tools and should take it as a challenge to make

In the event that you reassign affiliates who you know are inactive,it's important to observe some important points.
It's not fair, nor a good idea, to offer inactives as an incentive payoff to your active affiliates. If you have affiliates who are stretching to accomplish something in order to qualify for an incentive that you're offering, give them something worthwhile. If the payoff is affiliates, they shouldn't be inactive affiliates.
If you have affiliates that have leadership potential

Yes and make sure you tell the assignee they will need to be proactive in getting them to work the program. Be honest and tell him/her they have been inactive but it could be you've used the wrong approach. Advise them to read and use the suggestions SFI provides for effective Follow-up.

It is not a good idea to assign inactive affiliates to an active affiliate. Always assign your most active to another active. You want to keep the momentum going and build a strong downline. Soon, that downline will be growing fast on its own.

Thanks

It is not a good idea at all. You only will lose your respect, though you get 5 VPs for each reassigned affiliates, if the reassigned affiliate have scored 600 VPs or above.

Instead, try to motivate them to do the business.

When looking at my long list of inactive PSAs I wonder why each one is not working. I have invited those who just plain do not want to work SFI to opt out. None of my inactives have opted out. so I consider them all to be just waiting for something. When I have an active PSA from a country where I have inactive PSAs, I will ask the active ones if they would care to take on some inactives from their country. Sometimes it is a language problem, or cultural, or a local problem. I feel that the change

It is never a bad idea to re-assign affiliates, some affiliates will come back months later and become Team Leaders, you should not ever give up on ANY affiliate...and re-assigning them to your active affiliates gives them a chance to feel what it's like to be a sponsor while they are still learning how to recruit for themselves....reward your movers, it will benefit both of you!

No. You must not reassign an inactive affiliate to the active affiliate. Although there is a chance that he/she might get active but the chances are very little. Also the active affiliates under you might feel little conservative by your decision. They might feel that they are being rewarded an inactive affiliate for their honest and active working.
So, better not to do it and keep the affiliate with you and try you could make them active and then transfer to the active affiliates.

Strategy at work is the Key to success. We have to act slyly as well when needed. Reassignment is one such tool at SFI where if you have large number of PSA'S. Select at least 5 PSA's to become TL and maintain that status. Reassignment as an Incentive to them will encourage them and they will be more proficient. And even the reassigned EA, if he becomes active will contribute to your levered Income.
Think well and Reassign affiliates as Bonuses/Contests/ Competition.

My personal feeling is that there is no point in reassigning an inactive affiliate to an active one...
There is always for you the possibility of making some VP's out of your reassignment;
There is also a slight possibility of a connection happening between two new individuals who interact;
But, I would prefer to reassign someone who might contribute to the efforts of my active affiliate than to reassign someone who would not make a difference for him/her.
I would keep on trying
