Mediocrity is the easy way out. It's best is only second best or less. Success at some level may come from mediocrity, but it will never shine with golden accomplishment. It has a tinge of shame hanging on it.
True success, as seen by others, is worn as a badge of honor. No matter what the owners definition of success is, it has been achieved with perseverance, integrity, and sacrifice. These are not attitudes, they are personal traits, captured and grown to fruition, at which time the person is able to surmount all that stands in the way of his success.
His attitudes do greatly influence his achievement of success. He must have the ever popular positive attitude. He CAN do anything. He CAN meet his goals. He CAN get over the hurdles and mountains. And he CAN do it with honesty and integrity.
An attitude of perfection and attention to details without being stiff and judgmental will put a coat of professionalism on his business. Much can be seen in an inappropriate business profile photo. Hair, clothing, pose, background, focus, clarity all contribute to the perceived business attitude of the person.
Mediocrity comes from an attitude of "good enough" and it sends a message of not caring about details, or integrity and honesty, that leaves a prospective affiliate wondering if this person should be his sponsor.
