Any flyer or triple x card can be left at any location on your travels as long as you have permission to leave them there, bill boards, shop windows, public transport like a bus or train, hand them out to people in the street, any easy method that does not cost money yet is not spam, emailing them to friends and family, or even adding link of the card with your details on face book, twitter or your own site can be a good thing, the more you promote your gate way links the more customers you will gain.

I find the best use of my Cards (of all types)is to print my ID Number on them using a stamp so it is legible and then stamp the back with a copy of my personal business card. It will cost about $15.00 to have the stamp made, but you can use it for a million things.
I then give the cards to Pizza places and they put them in the outgoing orders for free. I also take the to Employment offices and DES (Dept. of Economic Security), LDS Employment Services and other similar locations.
I also put the in the offices of Low Rent apartment complexes where new comers to town might start out. Also give them to the One Stop in town (where people go looking for a job). Military Bases are also a good location if you are a Vet. I would also put them at the DAV, VFW, American Legion, etc for Vets and retirees.

I treat them like business cards. I hand them out everywhere and to everybody until they are gone. If you are not handing them out, they are wasted. I leave them on message boards, restaurant tables, taxis, public transportation, anywhere there is people traffic.
