In my opinion it is beneficial to create separate forums and do web seminars about SFI in languages other than English, because most Affiliates are not so familiar with English as medium of their communication.

For example, almost all of my CSAs that was given by SFI as reward came from India and even I sent my letter of encouragement to them to continue their membership with SFI I didn't got any response, thinking that perhaps they don't know what I am explaining to them.

Due to the fact, that I don't know too, what their medium of communication, and I am familiar with English, I can't do something to them for better explanation in order for them to understand, what SFI can do to their lives.

So creating separate forums in languages other than English is beneficial.

Thank you for asking this question. Let us for a moment take a brief look into SFI's the situation.
SFI is in the global marketplace. It is an ever growing marketing company that attracts thousands of affiliates from diverse backgrounds and language groups - many of whom do not speak English.
I believe that if separate forums are created and web seminars are convened to appeal to each language group, these persons would feel much more comfortable to be a part of SFI and build their business.
In fact, I wouldn't leave it with the forums or seminars. One of the main reasons for this is these places are not the first contact areas. From the outset of the business; as soon as new affiliates join the company they should be able to tap into an introduction that is their own language. I think this would, for the most part, quell any prejudice that would have been associated with having to be coerced into trying to understand English. So because they are compelled to do business in a language with which they are unfamiliar - they feel no motivation. Additionally, this could also be what contributes to affiliates saying they don’t understand the business and then opt out or do nothing at all.
My suggestion, therefore, is make available a translation for every page that the affiliates enter to do the business. This would take them straight to the Getting Started video. The other actions thereafter would automatically be in their language at the click of a button.
By then, they should feel comfortable to navigate the site which would include the forum. Here they would meet other individuals who speak their language. Again, I think that from here they would be at ease and generate the momentum that is required to build one's business.

It is very beneficial to have forums in other languages especially inside a Team with members from differed non-speaking English area. Why? Because they have all resources needed from SFI in available in their own language explained. So it makes easy to learn and prosper in buissnes.
Webinar's are also a great idea to have lecture on their own language for asking question and provideing instant answers. Of course SFI can open forum and keep webinar in every language but your Team leaders should provide that inside their own team.
Lots of TL do that ,so should every TL for their team in mother language and members will prospect and work. much better and faster.

I think the idea you have taken has both positive and negative sides.


The positive side is- It can't be denied that everyone is comfortable with their first language.So creating a separate forum with the other language will be helpful for who do not know English.Thus you can guide them to gain knowledge easily and motivate them to put those knowledge to use to grow the SFI business.

But it has a negative side also- Creating a separate forum and maintaining that properly is not very easy task but a task of great responsibility.Besides you have to invest your finance that may be difficult for you.In that case you can use the TRANSLATION TOOL of SFI or Google Translate.
But you can put your idea to use if you can avail it and then it will be fruitful for your business.

I do think that it is an excellent idea. Open an webpage in your own language where everything from advertising, articles, forums and webinars can be conducted. I have found a lgreat deal in understanding gets lost in translation. Hence many affiliates gives up on the great opportunity at their fingertips.
English is my second language and as it is the recognized international language I automatically use it but one day out of curiosity I decided to use Google translate into my first language and oh my word! It was as if I was reading a foreign language!
The conclusion: Yes the benefits in your own language with people that was born into that language will be much more profitable for you and the participants.

Of course, in many countries have are held regular seminars and learn absolutely everything about the SFI business opportunity. Some seminars are held in parallel to the existing members and others to gather new members. Besides seminars are very popular today- webinars, webinars doing a lot of people working in this business, do web presentations over the Internet and are available to everyone.Forums in other languages ??might be suggestion for SFI but I think it is not necessary because we have the google translator for it. Of course in his country on various forums you can promote your business if allowed forum rules.

I don't think it is necessary to have separate forums in other languages. I think it would divide the SFI community, and what we have now is thriving and very helpful for the majority of affiliates.

I *do* think there should be a handful of SFI pages that are translated by people (not Google). I think the best people to do this would be team leaders who are fully fluent in English and their native language, and who understand the SFI program.

Google Translate is an excellent tool, but it has its limitations, and I think a lot of affiliates who have little or no English feel lost and leave too quickly when they can't find the help they need.

I think it would be helpful to have pages such as SFI Basics, the LaunchPad lessons, Marketing Methods and Aides, and the Homepage tabs translated properly, and also have a basic FAQ available in the most-used languages by SFI affiliates. Considering the size and growth of SFI, I think this would be a prudent investment going forward.

There is no doubt that when viewed very narrowly, it is easy to admit that it will be beneficial to create separate forums and do web seminars about SFI in languages other than English. This is because many people feel more at home and are more comfortable with their first language than any other language, English inclusive. With an international business like SFI, creating a separate forum with this local language can be very helpful to those who speak the language. These people can therefore learn more quickly and feel completely at home with getting ahead in their SFI business as well as easy recruitment of affiliates.

In my opinion, that is the easy part. The not-very-easy part is, who creates the forums and do the seminars? What is their level of expertise and proficiency in the local language particularly when you factor in that no language can ever be fully translated without losing some form of value from the original language. Besides, English is such a universally acceptable language which is spoken almost everywhere in the world. I am told all international pilots are compelled to use English to communicate when they over fly other countries irrespective of the local languages spoken in such countries.

Allied to that is the fact that SFI is trying frantically to create an international business platform acceptable and accessible to all peoples of the world with the power of the Internet making English the universal language for transactions. SFI has rightly built into the business to assist non-English speakers an SFI Translation Tool which is very efficient and effective. Smart Internet users also deploy Google Translate Tool for the same translations purposes.

The question to ask here is, why localize a business SFI is striving to internationalize? But if the idea of a local language is to complement what SFI is doing, then why not? If you are so good in your local language and you believe you have the resources, patience and expertise to use your local language effectively, all well and good but you do face the additional task of finding enough people interested in SFI business who speak the language with you. With the way SFI is structured, that additional task may be very daunting even if you choose to use A2A or you organize co-operatives with the sole qualification criterion being ability to communicate in a specific local language. That can by no means be an easy task. Goran, with all these bottlenecks, are you still keen on creating separate forums and doing web seminars about SFI in languages other than English? If you still do, I am not sure I envy you at all.

I have one CSA who is inactive. I added him in my messenger. Once He was online and we had some interaction. He happened to be from Arabic speaking country and his sponsor was from europe. He obviously had a language problem. I think he was a collage student. He expressed to me that he wants to discuss/ to know more about SFI business from Arabic speaking person.

Even though translation is avaialble on our webpage people would be at ease if they are able to discuss issues in their own language . If web seminars are conducted in other languages than english, it will help non active , non english Affiliates, and they will join the main stream. It will boost the whole business of SFI!

Who are you suggesting would set up separate forums and seminars in different languages?

SFI is a US American company. That's where the home office is, that's where it's registration is. The official language is American English. The ads are written in English, the approved text ads are written in English. The main language for eCommerce is English.

The SFI opportunity is given to all nations, but the taker needs to understand that he/she is responsible to come to the terms of being able to accept that relationship. The term here being the language.With 203 countries having SFI affiliates and some using several languages, how can SFI provide forums and seminars in enough languages to cover every person? The can't, but if they could, who would pay for them? The Executive Pool would be dry if it had to come from there. Ah, let's have every non-English speaking person pay $5 each to use those services every month. Oh, that's right most of them don't even have a Standing Order for their other business needs.

If SFI doesn't provide these services (for free) then it's up to either the Team Leaders or the ECAs.

If the Team Leaders were to organize a separate language forum for each language spoken by members of his team:
1) What level Team Leader could afford the cost, time, and monitor the information given in all the different forums?
2) What would be duplicated in his team? He would fail to be the leader.

If ECAs were to offer membership in special Forums for a certain amount of money on a Standing Order basis, there would certainly be much cross-lining. Cross-lining is the sharing of information back and forth between lines of sponsorship. This is not innocent help. Just one example of how your PSAs can be affected by cross-lining is a follows. This is why we want to keep everything out in the open as with the SFI Forum, so that everybody is kept accountable to the true system.

How many times have we read Posts telling affiliates how to do this business with the least investment? We are here to make money. That money comes from somewhere. Here, it comes from sales and purchases of TripleClicks products. Why would you want to allow other people telling your PSAs to not buy their product from TC, but to skimp by with the minimum necessary to gain the EA?

I know those who give out this information want to help, but if we don't help our PSAs to get to a certain level of commission in a limited time, they will quit. So let's not let our teams become infected with misguided plots and schemes that will slow them down.
We must be able to control what is being said on the public SFI forums.

ECA forums or Team Leader Forum tend to be private, out of the reach of the team leaders. SFI Forum remains the only Forum with proven monitors.

One solution that has been attempted is setting one Topic aside for many Posts written in each of the main languages. But there again it would be very hard to monitor.

If every SFI affiliate was willing to take their responsibility to translate then the situation would be minimized. If when you get something from someone that has been translated and has an error, then you need to get back to the person and correct his understanding.This is part of your responsibility as a sponsor. It is the affiliates responsibility to understand what is being said.
