The main reason is "Professionalism." Choose a photo that doesn't look like you're on a dating site or having a family picnic. Make sure it's a clear photo and pleasant.

It adds a personal touch without getting carried away and it's always nicer when we see who we are talking to online. People feel more comfortable with you when you have a good photo on your profile and will communicate with you more freely.

Important is to have a good photo is to let the others see that you mean business.It's a little joke but it's true. Put your best photo not just for your good looks but that others see you are a professional and dedicated in your work because nobody wants to work with invisible partner especially in on line work.

Think logicaly about your question. What message you wish to send to your new PSA? When your new PSA join SFI, your picture will welcome them. I think your picture should look positive, smiling, motivating. If your new PSA sees a picture where you look happy - more chances they will stay in this business. But if you put a picture where you look worried or unhappy - which message this picture will send? Run away from here!!!

Certainly not contact the person without a picture of the business sites such as SFI.

For me the main importance of putting a good picture on SFI, is to look at you there all day and the photo can lift you up.
In the early days in SFI I put a picture where I was serious and that did not inspire me, just put me down, I wanted a picture where I look professional.

It is important to have a good clear photo of your face, because you are promoting your SFI homepage, your business, your name and your SFI ID number.
