As far as SFI is concerned provision is made to incorporate Key Codes on the various links and this helps us to track the effectiveness of advertising at various sources like free classifieds, paid classifieds, websites, blogs, social media etc. A different code is used to represent each source.
The number of signups for each designated code for a source can be determined and compared with the other sources. Action can be take as to how best the sources which are not doing well can be improved.
A table can be drawn up highlighting the sources, codes and the number of sign-ups from each source. Comparisons are made and action taken to boost sign-ups.
A more advanced method of tracking is Google Analytics. This is a service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about a website’s traffic and traffic sources and measures conversions and sales. Google analytics can track visitors from all referrers, including search engines and social networks.
These basic systems will suffice to organize and track advertisements for your SFI business.
