First of all, if no one spends money at TC, no one makes money full stop. No sales commission, no VP, $0 value Executive Pool shares which makes personal VP and matching VP worthless and so on. Therefore, promoting and selling TripleClicks products should be one of the very first activities affiliates are encouraged or taught to start doing for more reasons than one.
Selling TC products:
For those wanting to start earning as soon as possible, and by that I mean more than the few cents received (once you reach EA) from shares of the Executive pool for earning VP, the best and most obvious option is selling TC products. You can start doing this from day 1 and earn 45% of commission volume for each item sold, plus earn VP which will help boost your share of the Executive pool. Obviously though you will need to know how to sell online, or at least be prepared to start learning (and earning) and putting into practice what you've learned. If you can do that, and do it successfully, there is virtually no limit to the amount of income you can earn.
TC's commission system is far and away superior to those of the big guns, where you earn a pittance by comparison AND your customers are only your customers for that one sale. Compare that to TC where your customer is your customer for life, meaning that you continue to earn from every single purchase that customer makes - FOR EVER!! That's pretty awesome.
The new TC Collections feature in particular is a fantastic addition to TC and is a very powerful way to promote entire groups of products through blogs, product reviews, advertising and the like. Used effectively, it will greatly increase our earning power through the sale of TC products.
Recruiting and building a team of affiliates:
Recruiting and building a team of ACTIVE affiliates takes most people a lot longer. The key word here obviously is 'ACTIVE'. However, once you've built the foundations of a strong active team and you have duplication happening (duplication of transfer buying, duplication of standing order, duplication of TC promotion and sales as well as duplication in recruiting and team building) the benefits of a residual income really kick in. Then there's the power of matching VP - imagine earning over 1 million matching VP every month courtesy of a very active team!
So recruiting and building a good solid active team certainly has the potential to earn you a LOT of money down the track as your team grows and becomes more active. However, it's still hugely dependent on selling TripleClicks products. For matching VP (one of the real gems of the SFI affiliate system) to be worth anything, we go right back to the first thing I said, which is - if no one spends money buying products from TC, no one makes any money anywhere, from anything.
Promoting and selling TripleClicks products then, even if it's only to your team members, is at the heart of SFI. That's where the money comes from. If this stops happening, the money stops. Yes, you can earn a lot of money recruiting and building a team of affiliates but your team needs to be buying, promoting and selling TC products (to their teams) in order for that to happen. Yes, you can also earn a lot of money successfully promoting and selling TC products without worrying about building a team but in both cases, the common element is selling TC products.
Therefore, the only way you can make any money at all is through the sale of TC products. Whether you promote that as part of your team building or you do it as a standalone exercise is entirely up to you. Work out whichever one you're best at and focus on that because invariably that's the one that will earn you more money.
