Good communication with our team is vital in SFI, but what if we are not good writers; how do we learn to write well?

Dear Darla,

This is an excellent question and of great importance. Team communication is very important if not the most important link in the functioning of a team. It does not matter if someone knows how to write messages to their members or not. It is important that these messages write from the heart and be maximally honest and friendly. You are right - good communication is important. You managed to communicate to us here that you feel that you are not a good communicator. We had no difficulty understanding what you were asking. Who made you believe that you were not a good writer and what is a good writer? No one is judging you. We have people in the Forum, in Ask SC and in communication with their down lines who get their point across even though English is not their native language. We have the same problem,and I believe most of us fall short here,if you are not good at writing you can still communicate with your team, you have to to some practicing-

Learn how to read everyday

What do you want to communicate to your Team ,There are mails from your Sponsor,you can copy them and send to your Team members.As you know in SFI we du a lot of duplication, so continue until you are able to write your own messages.

There are really only three ways to learn how to write well:

1) Learn from a teacher or mentor. There are good classes and good tutors out there.
2) Model your writing style on someone who seems to communicate well. This can lead you astray if there are weak points to your role-model's methods.
3) Teach yourself from a book--I still keep a copy of my high school grammar and style book for when I need to write something.

This is a great question.Been there done that. Look at the samples
under Marketing Aids.

We are supposed to use the suggested materials provided till we are
team leaders anyway.By then our confidence will rise.

I started out revising the suggested materials.
I like some of the printed material on the banners too.

This is not hard to write something.

Duplication is the main key of this business.
There are many free articles and blogs and forums we can find from google search . Simply copy and save it to MS word format and when we market our gateways just copy and paste the script to different websites body and send to prospective affiliates, ECA,TC products customers.

Also we get many newsletters about SFI from our sponsors and SFI. We can copy and save it and send it to others.

There are so many other methods of communication, and writing is only one of them. Forming good sentence structures and grammar in any language, is impressive and desirable, but that will not necessarily make you a good communicator.

Yes! I fully agree with you that good communication is essential and what you should do to buy a good Dictionary so that you can check the spelling of the words that you write. Next thing that you should do is to enroll for English classes to learn spoken and written English. I hope that helps to keep,going.
