PayPal is a great solution, BUT, PayPal account without a card can be opened only by the citizens of the United States and connected it to a their bank account. All others, outside the USA, must have the VISA, MASTER or other acceptable international payment card.
If you do not own a credit card, it would be best to ask around at a local bank, can they issue a debit or revolving card to You which can be paid abroad.
If even this option may not be realized, there is a bank transfer money (SWIFT), which is relatively inexpensive, but costs some bank fees.

Good question.This is what I faced at the very start of SFI to set an SO.There are the few easy and convenience ways through which an SO is easily get set. They are stated as under;
1:Paypal,if acceptable in your country
2:Money Order or Bank Draft

4:TCurrency,you can easily contact to one of ECAs in your region to buy TCurrency,I did the same when I was a newbie
5:MRPs i.e member reward points,the best payment option in case of tight pocket.
6:TCredits,if you are shopping for other than TCredits their-selves.
Now it's up to you whether opt investing or free option.

Here is an option that works very well for me so I don't have to worry about it every month....
1) I created a PayPal account which is free to join...
2) Apply for a Credit /Debt Card...
3) Set-up through SFI to use that account to be charged...
4) Once your account is set-up you can fund it or pay towards your balance every month...
5) Gives you the flexibility to pay for auctions or items you purchased or won at SFI...
Thank you for your timely question. I could have asked it several months ago myself because I was trying to set up a standing order and I do not have a credit card. I learned a lot during this time!
1. You cannot set up a standing order with a gift certificate. I was allowed to purchase my standing with a gift certificate and even had a standing order badge on my page but it wasn't set up as a standing order.
2. I thought about using T Currency but I did not receive a response from the ECA'S that were contacted.
3. After consideration, I went with a debit card. It has worked really well for me.

For me, the best option is to let my money accumulate. My money stays with SFI and I can use it easily at any time. There are no fee's for this, and if I decide to get my money out, all I have to do is change the payment option and the next cycle a check will be sent to me.
By keeping my money in my SFI account, as soon as the commissions are processed, my SO is taken out, and the balance is on hand immediately to proceed how I want.
If you reinvest your money this is the perfect option.

I have had the same problem myself for myself then I use to buy T currency at my local ECA and then I could purchase Tcredits for my SO. What I like about SFI it makes you wise, I went to my bank and they give me some stories about the bank policies and went to another bank in South Africa and they did not have a problem helping me to use my saving account and buy online up until today I have no problem buying anything online or with PayPal thanks for those ECA's helping me in times of need if your in South Africa try Capitec Global Bank it works

That is a good question. The best payment option for a Standing Order when you do not have a credit card is Paypal account. It is free to sign up or get an account there. And, what is good about it is you will be able to monitor your payment. You can add funds when it gets low, and you make sure that there is always funds for your monthly Standing Order.

I would say to use PayPal, they are great to work with and you can do
all your payments with just one click. PayPal is also international so there
isn't a problem with no service to any country. I have used other companies
in the past but I personally find that working with PayPal solved all my problems.
