Hi Sebastian, good question,i will try to answer it in two parts,[a] to build a successful business firstly you must have a vision and a goal to work towards on a long term basis in SFI,your determination ,courage and consistency of being able and willing to work toward this personally, somewhat is called self motivation,on the other side [b] how much should one rely on sponsor, it is for you to ask if needs be ,for help and support, question you may have if confused,it is very critical for the sponsor

You can rely on your sponsor if and only if he/she is active, I would advise you to try and go through all the lunch pad lessons and sfi basics, learn as much as you can, understand how to become successful with sfi yourself. that way your success will not be determined by a sponsor. Take for instance for me I do not have a sponsor, I do not know if my Sponsor opted out but I am learning everyday and applying what I learn from great and wonderful family we have in SFI, I never regret relying on my

While a sponsor may be able to provide useful information, training, and even (perhaps) access to some sort of resource (like skills or an occasional incentive), your SFI business needs to be reliant only on you and your efforts. Everything else is a bonus. Remember, your sponsor, much like you, is a human being, and human beings can be very unreliable--they even die! That means your success, in the end, depends solely upon your own actions. If you've got an awesome sponsor, be grateful, but

One of most powerful tools to help people stay and work in SFI is the sponsor. This individual is there to offer guidance and support to a PSA.

The SFI sponsor fulfills a number of useful functions including:

This is an individual who will usually have more experience in the program than the PSA. This means that they will be able to share their wisdom and experience.
This is an individual who will offer encouragement and provide praise for achievements.
This is someone

In the beginning, you are entitled to ask everything and anything. Sponsor must be your guide and a friend. But you have to listen, research and learn independently. If sponsor is a great one, he will be there for you always, but I have learned a lot from my PSAs also. They are the best I have pleasure to work with. Sponsor may make mistakes, therefore it's in your interest to obtain as many information as possible. If she or he doesn't acknowledge or ignore mistakes then of course don't really

One of the most important guiding principle in SFI is that it is your business, the success of which is dependent on your own effort.Once you have learn the basics of the business and apply them, it will be only a matter of time before you reap the rewards of your hard work.
You don't need to rely on your sponsor to be successful, in fact most of the sponsors are themselves either way new to SFI, or are too busy with other more
" lucrative" downline members. So my advice to you

The short answer is not to rely on your sponsor at all. If you rely on your sponsor you are giving away the responsibility for your business to someone else. Take responsibility for yourself. Of course you can ask advice or direction from your sponsor. In the end though, you make the decisions in your business.

The answer is simple, NONE!

You have started a business. While a Sponsor can be very helpful in providing guidance, especially in the beginning, it is best not to rely on that sponsor for your success.

To rely on someone else eases the sense of self-motivation. To succeed in this business, you need to be self-motivated, and self-reliant!

If your sponsor adds to your experience, great! Do not rely on him/her, though.

Hello Sebastian.

Think of your sponsor as a teacher. They are there to guide you and help you learn. You can go to them whenever you have a problem or need any type of support, but they cannot do the work for you.

This is your business and only you can make it a success. SFI is your textbook and provides everything you will ever need to succeed.

When you have a team they will look to you for support, and you won't want to be relying too heavily on your own sponsor

Your sponsor will help you if you ask for advice. Your sponsor will help you if you have some problem. Your sponsor will teach you how to do your job as best as possible.
Do not expect from your sponsor to work for you. Sponsor is there to help and not to work for you.
Sponsor may refer you to the forum. Sponsor will show you how to run your business.
Do not expect too much from your sponsor and try to be self-sufficient.
