Drip marketing is when you regularly 'drip' information to prospective and current clients/customers.

Sending out an advertisement for a product or service only once is unlikely to have much of an effect, if any at all, on sales, but when people see advertisements many times, the message will at some point 'stick' in their minds or grab their attention. Drip marketing is a direct marketing strategy that involves sending out several promotional adverts over a period of time to a subset of sales leads.

It was developed in response to the "Law of 29" in which many marketers believe that an average "prospect" will not turn into a client until they've viewed their marketing message at least 29 times. I do believe in the need to stay in touch with my current and prospective clients in order for them to purchase from me.

Drip Marketing is a "lead nurturing" and a "customer service management" strategy based on an automated, sequential flow of communications..

Hi Ronald, drip marketing or automated email marketing are a sets of marketing
emails that you send out automatically on a schedule. Perhaps one email will go
out as soon as someone signs up, another will go out 3 days later, with one more
going out the next weekend. Or, the emails can be varied based on triggers, or
actions the person has performed like signing up for your service or making a
purchase, which is why they're also sometimes called behavioral emails.
