In order to really understand what is more beneficial to you in making the choice between becoming an ECA and referring an ECA, we need to look at the work involved and the benefits in each case.

Both being an ECA and referring an ECA will be more beneficial. These are two income streams among the many ways to earn in SFI.

If you have your own ECA store, you earn from the profits of the products you are selling. If your PSAs and PRMs buy from your own ECA store, in addition to the profit you are making from selling your own products, you also earn 45% of CV Direct Commissions. It is wonderful if you have the capacity to represent yourself as an affiliate in both roles - an ECA representative and an affiliate that creates a referral of shoppers for other ECA services associated with the TripleClicks store.

Being both enables an affiliate to leverage the benefits from each which are taught within the first month of joining SFI as an active affiliate.

Being in both roles has benefits to each affiliate. I would think the following question would be helpful

I would definitely say try both!

On one hand, you have your own store with products that you can promote and profit from. Not to mention that you get 1VP for each listing (every VersaPoint counts!).

On the other hand, you will be referring ECA's where you also get to earn a lifetime commission on all of their sales as well. I think that they will appreciate the help from you promoting their products as well.

Both are beneficial to an affiliate

Being an ECA – it is more beneficial to an affiliate as he/she could confirm a potential earnings in a regular basis

It is no tough job. He/she has to be uploaded the product image/s including price, shipping and return/refund condition to TripleClicks after receiving proper approval from TripleClicks as an ECA. TripleClicks will perform the rest except shipping. Being an ECA affiliate he/she can enjoy the full profit of the product/s.

I'l say the two combined together will be beneficial.
You having your own store as an ECA boosts your own personal business to be a success expanding it and at the same time earning from it as an additional income to you.
Coincidentally referring ECAs cause you to pull in additional 10% commission for life from your referred ECA as a residual income plus aids you in your requalification or qualification to a higher rank due to the 100vp given for each approved ECA.

Referring ECA:
1. Every ECA product and service has both CV (Commission Volume)get 10% onsales made by your ECA referrals.
2. YOu can refer as many ECAs as you find and you earn 100 VP when they lis their first product and sell.
3. You will receive special offers, deals, etc. from your ECA.

You can do both. In fact, you should do both. But since your question asks which one is more beneficial, I would say referring ECAs would be more beneficial to you.

Why? Because each sale you make you will get income. But with 24 hours in a day and only 1 you, can you really cope even if you get orders everyday for the next year?

Referring ECAs sort of distribute the load a bit. You still get income (10% of CV), but if you sign up 10 ECAs and each of those ECAs make 1 sale everyday

The question isn't which is more beneficial, the benefits of having both are the best way to go. Limiting yourself to one or the other is wasting a great resource.

1. You need to do both for maximum profit and VP's.
2. Referring ECA's is permanent - they are your ECA for life. Two or three good ECA's can make you more money than any other action in SFI. Plus the 100 VP you get for each ECA each month.

It would be better if you become an ECA first. Reason why, there are so many actions and steps that you need to know.
This are the like of; product listing, setting up the pricing, shipping, option choices, and others.
