Good question, but first I must say that I personally don't think anyone will just intend to be lazy or not just motivated to do anything especially when it comes to making money.

However, lack of adequate information or good mentor(s)/leaders and the will to convert those information to action in some cases are responsible.

Back to your question as to "how do you motivate the lazy and unmotivated affiliates?"
Established and maintained an open ended means of communication using the information from the genealogy link on your power tools tab at your homepage, where you will have access to their respective emails.

However don't just be the upline that kept on dishing out instruction to their downline , be interested in their affairs, find out if you can what are the hindrances and limitation your affiliates are experiencing & see which area you can help in regards strictly to the business.

When you have to motivate your team, leading by example is the best way. When you show them your success they would have the trust and energy to take it forward.

If you have a robust badges’ list on your profile and you maintain a good Leadership page implementing all its features in sound manner; it would reflect your active participation in different facets of SFI and the level of success you have received. It becomes one of the basic motivational factors for your team members.

This should be followed by sharing strategies that made you successful to be duplicated by your Team members. Sometimes just sharing is not enough; you need to teach them to implement them correctly.

Constant training is paramount to anybody’s success that is also true here. Show them the money and Train them on ways to earn it.

Evolving new ways to market yourself into market to ensure your growth should be shared as well.

As all this needs to be communicated to your team members, hence your communication skills definitely become part of the gamut of skills that need to be applied in right manner.

Doing so would definitely inspire your interested but lazy and unmotivated members of your team.

When we signed up affiliates using the “FREE” Gateway, there are possibilities of misconceptions about joining SFI.

It is very important right from the beginning to establish connection with your new affiliates. Take them under your wings from the very start of their journey in SFI. From the day of their signed up, send them your welcome message introducing yourself and giving them simple, clear and easy-to-follow instruction to get them started.

What you should do and how do you deal with “lazy and unmotivated” affiliates?

- Don’t be bias; give them the benefit of the doubt.

- Use your Genealogy/Movers tab to monitor their progress.

- If you notice inconsistencies with your affiliates, such as not logging in regularly, send them E-cards. This might just be the action you have to do to initiate conversation.

- Offer your one-on-one support; anticipate that every affiliate is in a unique situation where your customized support might be required.

Don’t be discouraged, no matter how inactive and unmotivated they might be. We all have inactive affiliates. This is an objective observation. It is a reality and part of building an SFI business and an SFI Team. The question has been addressed in many ways in the training, in the Forum and here at Ask SC.

Qualifying affiliates as 'lazy" and "unmotivated" is subjective. It is rather a personal perception if not a mere assumption. It conveys a negative judgment. I would personally dissociate myself from such qualification. I do not see any solid grounds to make such a statement.

Every one of us faces different personal circumstances that affect our activity and our results. We read here and in the forum many stories of affiliates who were not very active when they joined SFI. It took them a while to get involved. But, they have gone to be highly successful. Would have it been right to qualify them as "lazy" and "unmotivated" when they were not active?

Hence, it is much more constructive and positive to address your inquiry as how to deal with inactive affiliates. As mentioned above, we have abundant material, tips and strategies that pertain to this question. They can be summarized in two sentences:

1. Work with the workers

2. Keep the communication lines open to every affiliate even those who are inactive.

If you follow these guidelines, you will use your time wisely, while maintaining some form of a communication with those affiliates you are qualifying as "lazy" and "unmotivated".

Motivating lazy and unmotivated affiliates is a big challenge. You have to decode first the reasons why they are inactive and not doing SFI. The number reason for this is they put very low value on SFI.

The magic formula is you help your affiliates put higher value on SFI. In your mails to them give them the reasons …

1. Why they need to login daily and complete their daily, weekly and monthly actions?
2. Why they should keep on reading and learning everything about SFI, TripleClicks, and internet marketing?
3. Why they should take advantage of becoming a Fast-Tracker via the New Member Pack (NMP) before the 10-Fast-Track window disappears?
3. Why they should establish an open communication with their team members, sponsor, co-sponsor, uplines, and a2a friends?
4. Why they should promote and advertise their SFI/TripleClicks websites?

1. There is no such thing as a lazy affiliate

Unmotivated maybe.

The easiest way to motivate somebody is to show them your successes.
Lead by example by doing everything that you would like the person on your Team to do.

2. You can't change anyone else, you can only change yourself.. bearing that in mind..

We are looking for the motivated individual who works hard, not everyone will want to work
so its better to work with the workers and have patience.

3. Try to put yourself in their shoes.

Would you as an affiliate trust 'you' as somebody that they would want to emulate or have a business relationship with?

Get to know them personally, find out what their hopes and dreams are first and foremost.

The first thing is to check if those lazy and unmotivated affiliates even started when they have registered.
The second thing is to make sure you can connect with them to communicate.
Third thing is being polite and calm while asking them how they feel about SFI and why do they feel that way?

Most people are interested to know how much one can earn while working in SFI, but that is hard to explain due to way how we earn here. You should give them clues how to success, explain what to do and how to do.
Make them clear that they cannot start earning from very first day when they join, but instead they'll have to do a real job.

Our badges on SFI website are proof that we are working and do we earn (but it doesn't say how much).
Provide them with instructional videos, show them Your hardworking upline, yours and their statuses.

Show them that games are great source for TCredits that can be used on various ways to improve their work, send gifts and motivational messages and help them as much as You can.

The root causes of lazy and unmotivated behavior need to be identified and formulate the appropriate strategies to change behavior.

Being lazy and unmotivated is the problem of those who are not interested to do some economic activities that can bring some earning or financial gains. This negative behavior comes about as a result of over dependent on other people(family, friends, etc.).No need to work hard to earn a living. After all, they still can have what they can afford, no more no less in their comfort zone.

The affiliates may be in the state of confusion and indecisive due to receiving conflicting information about SFI. They are not be lazy or unmotivated. They wait until they receive favorable feedback.

They are attracted to other internet businesses that promise better returns. So they abandon SFI temporarily. until they have found out that they are being deceived.

They are 'sleeper' and remain dormant and inactive.until in a certain time, they will wake up.

They fear to spend and decide not to proceed with the business.

The programs are not attractive to earn bigger income.

The suitable strategies to motive lazy and unmotivated affiliates are:

This is a question that is asked be each affiliate that truly desires to work at building a Team, through whatever advertising they see fit. We are taught in internet marketing, and by SFI that our focus must be on the ones that do show effort at the start.

It is your communication with these people that is vital to your business, not motivating those that do nothing but confirm their registration or even less.

Move on the premise, that all the tools you need to build a Team are right here within SFI/TripleClicks. Use them and the executive pool is strengthened and every affiliate benefits. Keep your EA status each month and you benefit too. Team Leader brings the true "residual" income.

Lastly, nurture those that show effort. If 1 out of 50, actively pursue their business with SFI on your Team, you will succeed!
