Personally, I do not think using cold calling is a good idea. In this day and age, people are extremely busy and what little extra time they have, they do not want to be bothered with a telemarketer. I know I do not talk to them when they call my phone. With caller ID and all the other features on phones, people do not answer calls they don't know. You also have to worry about the Do Not Call Registry. This is very time consuming and therefore I do not feel it would benefit a business to do

"Cold Calling" is a marketing term used to define prospects that you don't personally know. There are many ways to make "cold calls". This does not necessarily mean calling people on the phone. Cold call prospects are people from what's known as your "soft market". These people are not personal close friends, or family, however they are people that you have come into contact with. They are also a highly targeted group of people.

I will give you an experience that I have had with "calling" people. First of all I had paid for these telephone leads from a company, so I was always under the assumption that they were interested in a business. This was not even true for supposed paid leads. So once I began speaking with them I would always ask if they had inquired about having a home based business from home for themselves. A majority of these leads were not interested, but there were a few. I actually have had

I don't think so. In fact, absolutely not, for me anyway.

I am 23, and many of my friends have never even seen a telephone directory! We don't even really always use our phones to talk any more. I know people who only use them for texting or surfing the internet. I don't ever use the "white pages" online, I just google someone if I want to find their phone number. Then there is the whole problem of caller id, and not answering a phone number I don't recognize. I figure if that

Absolutely not in my book...We get cold called multiple times daily for anything from answering a survey to accident claims,Do we give any of them the time of day? VERY RARELY because we don't know if they are genuine or not and usually we are making dinner, sorting the kids out, hoovering or as normal JUST BUZY!

I wouldn't waste my time annoying my fellow citizens.

I use Traffic Exchanges as one form of advertising,They are free to join and the people looking at your offer have

NO, I would not recommend cold calling!!

Here in the USA, you may be violating "do not call" lists from people who do not want unsolicited sales calls on any of their phones.

I believe it would also be mostly a waste of your time, as most people would probably hang up before you got very much information mentioned.

For cold marketing, you might be much more successful to place SFI and/or TripleClicks cards or flyers under windshield wiper blades in store

There are limitations in making cold calling with the availability of modern communication technology with computers, laptops and smartphones. Messages can be sent in seconds and responses can be received almost immediately. Cold calling consumes much time and time means money. Many people are aware of scam and fraud businesses and cautious about them and most likely the prospects will turn down the invitation unless they know well of the company. Cold calling is only good when the prospects are

Absolutely not you will be wasting your time and money and annoying call receivers. I do not pay attention to telemarketers. Whatever it is I don't want it! I also tell them not to call again. I am certain the vast majority of persons have a similar attitude towards them. In short they are nuisances. There are much better methods to attract PSAs. See the Marketing Methods and Marketing Aids pages for suggestions and expand it to other sources. PSAs should be attracted by your ads or your in person

Hello Adjoua

NEGATIVE POINTS

Yes you can say that it is a good method of attracting new PSAs, but you may face the following problems:

Many people will respond to the call as I am not interested in online Internet Business.

Others will not give you appointment to meet you personally.
Few of them who do not like to interact with strangers may refuse to divulge their email address.

I personally have put down my phone receiver many times whenever

Cold calling prospects can be of some use but a more effect strategy is to call everyone you've warmed up to the opportunity. Just calling from a phone directory, you need to polish up on your elevator speech. Be professional and brief and you will be surprised to find that a total stranger will carry on a conversation with you. This no doubt is a learned skill and 1 that can prove very valuable.

However, the novice will likely chase more prospects away cold calling than they ever
