This is a great question. I hope that my answer will shed some insight.

As I pondered what you are asking, I broke your question down into multiple parts. First, is how do I attract only serious affiliates? Second, what do I tell them about the SFI opportunity? And finally, once they are part of my team, what can I do to ensure that they remain serious?

So, how do you ensure that you are only attracting serious affiliates? To attract any kind of affiliate always starts with advertising. The sites you choose to advertise on and the wording of your advertising is usually what allows you to separate the tire kickers from the go getters. One such advertisement could read something like "Seeking 5 to 7 serious business partners! Are you a natural leader? Do you enjoy the challenge of recruiting, training and leading a strong, dynamic team? Do you have at least 20 to 30 hours per week that you can dedicate to developing your business? Do you have and are willing to invest at least $50 to $100 per month into the development of your business? If so, contact me right now at ......."

You will note that I purposely did not specify SFI as a free to join opportunity. This is for two reasons. First, a business partner that has and is willing to invest monetarily into their business is likely to be more serious and active as they are investing more than just their time. Second, you want them to be examples to their team and if you want you entire team to set up standing orders, then that example needs to be set by you and your team leaders.

Ok, so now that you have their attention, what can you tell them to determine if they will be serious about SFI? Be honest. Highlight key features and benefits of the SFI opportunity, hitting on points such as SFI's strong 17 year track record and the fact that SFI is a global opportunity. It would also be good to explain SFI's compensation plan as any serious affiliate is naturally going to want to know how they are going to make money.

So now you have recruited your 5 to 7 diamond team leaders, what can you do to ensure that they stay active with SFI and become the team leaders to recruited them to be? It really just boils down to one word - communicate. Make sure you immediately welcome them to your SFI team when they join. Let them know that they can always contact you with any questions they might have. Be proactive in offering assistance as well by letting them know about the best sites you have found to advertise on, set up advertising co-ops, keep them up to date on changes to the SFI program... in essence, lead by example. Be the kind of leader you want them to become.

I believe that initially, assurance will come from within one's heart - his sincerity, passion and understanding for the business, and his mind made up!

To "ensure" a prospect about SFI, I will say the following. Only time will tell if my thoughts are effective.

That to be committed to their very own business initially, mind, body and soul, just like anything else in this world regarding our dreams and passions, are always hard-wired for one's success.

1. When one enters our site, imagine you are enrolling yourself in a Business School with world class tools and facilities from the comfort of your home. No added expenses for gas, no time wasted on traffic jams, not to mention the weather, you get to choose your own schedule, no need for allowances and tuition fees, not to mention the long tedious years it takes to get a degree! But what for will this degree be anyway? Will it be to work for a daily wage and enrich your boss and his business? What about emergencies and when one becomes incapable? How much does the boss care about you or your almighty dream anyway? Will he be able to beat what SFI offers?

While at school and learning the ropes, we also are simultaneously given the opportunity to run our very own businesses that will give us leveraged, residual, passive income streams. No stocks to spend on, no business shop or location to rent at exorbitant prices, no extra bills to pay to run the shop, no employees to employ, no boss to worry about, no gas or time to spend on traffic jams, less income tax! etc.

3. However, this is our business, and we want to make a success of it! A big chunk of the expenses of going to business school and running a business have already been greatly reduced and given us for free! And unlike starting any other business, it is the minimal amounts each month for our business called an SO (Standing Order) that we only start with. 4. It is very important to login everyday to acquire the daily AVPs (Action Versa Points) which are harder to come by compared to SVPs (Sales Versa Points). Click on the red tabs daily, never miss out on it. Enter the hourly T-Time for a chance to win free TCs (TCredits). Enter the Daily Grand, Daily Crown, play games, play the auctions, buy and sell, and actively participate in free chances you get to earn VPs and rewards that would make your business thrive.

5. This is not a get rich quick deal. Unlike a regular job and salaries, we think in the long-term of running a business, and the residual, passive, leveraged incomes it will bring us depending on how much time, money and effort we invest monthly to meet our goals. Personally, if you want to recruit only serious team members, you should practice "attraction marketing." Market yourself so that people will begin to know, like and trust you, and trust your judgment about SFI.

What happens is that prospects will come to you, not the other way around. At that point, you discuss all of SFI's positives while at the same time telling them that this is not a get rich quick scheme.

Too many people sign up through a landing page or gateway first without ever really knowing the person they're signing up with. That leads to a lot of dropouts.

If they get to know you first and approach you for more information, you stand a better chance of recruiting people who will stay the course and build a solid business and team for themselves.

You can market through your blog and videos, speaking about why you like SFI, why you chose it as a way to go into business for yourself, and lead with a call to action to visit your blog and read more about the business before jumping in and signing up.

Now, depending on where you're networking, or how large your network is, this may take some time. But it's worth it when you have a solid team of enthusiastic, hard-working affiliates in your downline.

Our first contact with a prospect, other than through word of mouth will be made through some form of promotion. The Marketing material such as our gateways and the information within them are preset by SFI, so they will be the 'Attention Getter' when we use them.

What is important is that the prospects know that they will be involved in an Affiliate Program. For many people it is not the opportunity of choice. Some do not favour the merchant/affiliate relationship. On the other hand, some people like you and I do.


It is important that they know:
-it is a business which requires that they be on the computer everyday.
-It is set up in English only, but there is a good translator tool.
- It is not a quick rich opportunity, it is a long-term endeavour, the longer they stay the greater the gains.
-it is free to Join and Stay on, but they will get more by investing time and money.
-It requires work on their part.
-There is an excellent compensation plan for those who are serious.
-There is opportunity for networking.

Telling prospects about SFI to ensure you recruit only serious affiliates should not be too hard a problem.

Just tell the simple facts that SFI is a global business with no boundaries, has been in business for 17 years, has a store of its own, the TripleClicks, and helping hundreds of thousands of ambitious and hardworking people become successful entrepreneurs and paying commissions to these successful entrepreneurs month after month without fail.

Then ask some serious questions about their suitability:

Are they seriously looking for a real home-based internet business?
If they have a PC or any device, an internet access, this is probably an easy requirement for a serious looker.

Are they willing to invest time and money to their business after starting up with no cost to them, and with training provided free and corporate support available any time?

Are they willing to devote certain hours in the week to log in, read and learn the proper procedures as per SFI Basics and the Launchpad?

Are they willing to commit themselves to staying and building their business no matter what?

Are they ready to treat SFI business like a real business?

Firstly let me tell you that it is not possible to sift through 1000s of affiliates and categorize them into those that will turn out to be serious and then discard the ones that will not be serious enough. You just cannot tell who will become serious and who will not. Sometimes, the ones you believe will be serious turn out to be a total disappointment and the ones who may look like they are not serious, surprise you.

The seriousness of your business has to come from you first. How serious are you? How do you show others that you are serious?

This can easily be determined first by your progress in SFI. It is seen through the badges you earn as you work your business. We now have the JMT gateway link which is an excellent step to new recruits being serious. Your profile and picture indicates a serious enterprise and this is why you are reminded to ensure that you have a professional image on your profile..

Your rank in SFI is part of how serious you are and affiliates like to emulate the success of their sponsors and be a part of a successful team.

Therefore if you wish to recruit serious affiliates, make sure that you are serious!

Hi Alvin.
To be able to get serious affiliates require an element of risk. What do i mean? Speaking the truth is risking it all not to get sign ups, yet it is the needed tool to get serious affiliates. I do it on my posts. What do i tell them?
1. I tell them that i needed serious people. I mentioned the amount. That's my goal. That's my focus, so i let them know. It is to filter them from those that are not serious.
2. I told them what is in it for them
3. I Introduced myself to them and my rank and my being successful as an Executive in the company no matter how small the success might be.
4. I let them know that at a certain time when they are Executives, they will need to invest and i told them the least amount $20 and how they will get returns for their investment assuring them the purpose for the $20. Sure enough they will make more than that in the end if they stay with the system. I had my proof.
5. I let them see it as partnership sharing with them the benefits of being an SFI affiliates. It is not enough to tell them what SFI has achieved but what SFI can do for them. So i focus on that 6. i told what i would do for them if they are active and serious.
And lastly, i told my prospects, that if they are not ready to do the above, they shouldn't bother to sign up.
The last one looks hard, but that is the only way to get the serious type. The serious type looks at what is at stake and goes for it. I've tabled it before them, they know the truth and they know the least amount needed to invest. This gives them a thinking to do. Something that taps into their decision making mechanism which changes everything when they eventually sign up and when they do they know where they are going even before the journey begins and only the serious affiliates do so.
I've been having serious sign ups. It is the only way to filter the unserious ones, the issue of little investment. It is a risk on your part.
So i ask, as a home based entrepreneur, are you ready to take that risk? I've and it paid.

The prospects want to hear something that is concise and showing that you're comfortably in. Don't compromise by begging any prospect to join SFI, the program doesn't survive with sympathizers but with affiliates who know what they want and they go for it.

Inform them about the benefits that they get from SFI and emphasize how different SFI is from other affiliate programs on the net. This will obviously come from your deep knowledge of the net especially the programs which have been there for sometime which have not seen the light of the day.

Secondly it is very important to lay bare the fact that there is an amount of constant work that has to be put in. Don't hide the fact that SFI isn't a get-rich-quick scheme, it is a program with success that will be realized after a considerable period of time. In this way you're preparing the prospects to take the challenge with the right mentality.

Finally talk about the monthly activities in the program which bring in different members having attained the different positions which are offered by SFI. Let the prospects know that every month the game starts from scratch and moves on to the end. This prepares them once again to take the challenge of always being ready to start from zero every month.

1. Well this is easier said than done!
Once you get affiliates recruited you have to welcome them with e-mails. These mails should highlight the following points concisely without any exaggeration:-
a) SFI is free to join and it’s a place where you have to learn a few basics of online marketing before you start earning.
b) It is definitely not a free ride.
c) This is not a place where you can strike a bonanza to become rich overnight.
d) This business requires regular logging in on a daily basis. Daily, weekly, monthly activities have to be carried out with dedication.
e) Persistence & patience is the “mantra”
f) . Affiliates should be ready to make a nominal investment, as a personal investment makes them carry out their business in a serious manner.
g) The affiliates run their own business and how much they earn depends solely on their own efforts.
h) They earn their own money; SFI does not pay them anything like a monthly salary etc.
i) They will make no money, if they do not work as their business will not grow.
2. You have to filter out the prospective affiliates who are ‘only browsing’ through the SFI advertisement before recruiting the serious & well meaning ones. In order to achieve this you need to be very deliberate and precise in your ads and what you communicate to your prospects and new affiliates.
3 You can make good use of your personal websites to advertise SFI. In these promotional advertisements, being honest with your prospective affiliates is mandatory; you need to explain them about SFI as it is. There is no need to “sugar-coat” the truth. You may highlight the plus points but the intention should be to give them the bare facts about SFI. Your prospective affiliates will decide for themselves if they want to join/stay with SFI or not.
With this course of action, you will be ensuring that only the serious ones are recruited while the lazy/carefree /casual ones will drop off!
4. Your recruits will differ widely in their attitude, intelligence, seriousness, fun loving, indulgent, possessive etc. The intellectual ones would like to read all the free info available in SFI training tools & equip themselves to carry out their business;
The fun loving will like to play Easy Zebra games for fun, while some will like to buy items that they use everyday and so on. All these facets are readily available in SFI and it is big enough to accommodate them all, You need to explain to our prospect about all the dimensions of life where SFI can be of benefit to them .I’m sure they will show their great commitment, once you brief them as mentioned in this paragraph.
5.Making good use of your blog to explain SFI & how it works-the opportunities involved, the fun aspect of SFI by playing easy zebra games in TC, the fortune aspect of it through bidding in auctions on Triple Clicks PB platform will show the true side of SFI to the serous affiliates and thereby enabling them to stay committed.
6. Regular telephonic contacts will also draw & attract them to be committed & serious about SFI & its connected online business.
