The reasons can be as varied as your affiliates.

To start with I will use myself as an example. I signed up, did a few actions and my laptop crashed - by the time I got it back I lost interest and I also thought I blew it so I did not log in again. This month I will be with SFI for a year - why? My sponsor kept on sending her newsletters and one day one of them caught my attention and here I am!! hard at work.

Another personal experience - one of my affiliates signed up

90 to 95% of our PSA signed up to get more information because prior to the Join My Team gateway no outward page summarized what SFI is and does in a manner that did more than peak curiosity.

People would come in through the Invite Gateway or Free Gateway and learn more about how long SFI has done what they do than they learned about what SFI does. Many have preconceived notions about network marketing, and many are looking for a pure MLM instead of an affiliate program and can't see how

Because this question asks about those who become inactive shortly after joining, I will disregard those who never earn the first VP. That, I think, leaves three main reasons that a new PSA fails to thrive in SFI.

1) They open up their To Do List, before or after doing the START and BASICS buttons, and they see that they have a lot of work. They panic in their minds and do not see their Sponsor's Welcome Letter, they never learn that they can have all the help they need just by asking

Hi Alvin
There are so many reasons that an affiliate can become inactive shortly after signing up. Every sponsor faces this challenge and i've had mine.
From my experience i came up with these:
1. Many do not know their way back to logging in. Sponsor's link is not the same as the sfimg.com link. Got that later.
2. Many could not access SFI website shortly after becoming active. Before the problem is solved, they are gone
3. Language barrier. Had this experience on the field.

Hi Alvin,

I would like to share my own experience on the reason many affiliates become inactive after joining SFI.

I, myself, discovered SFI accidentally while looking online for part time job available near my area to earn extra income. During my searching, I signed up with one of the job search engine for part time job. Not long after that I received an email with the subject "SFI is searching for Online Business Operators" and the details is as follows:

You’ll

Why do so many affiliates become inactive shortly after joining SFI?

The million dollar question. Here is the simplistic answer.

They were looking for a "Get Rich Quick" venture and once they got into the thick of things they discovered they actually had to work at it to make any income. Most people are following this Internet fallacy or misconception that money is easily reproducible by Internet schemes where all they need to do is just signup, perhaps pay one time

I’m sure there are many reasons why affiliates become inactive shortly after joining SFI.

I’ve broken it down into 3 groups:

People who are just curious and never serious about SFI – They look around for a bit but never intend to do much.

People who expect to earn money without having to do much. Once they realize they have to put in effort and commitment, they lose interest.

These people are most probably a lost cause and nothing you do will change

I personally believe there is more than one reason for this.

1) information overload
2) it's honest, real, and works. That in itself will always make a person back off.
3) they realize the cold hard facts of life and that to receive #2 that they'll have put in hard work to get it. Most people are much to lazy to follow through. It's up to us to stick to doing what they need to see their team leader do and keep signing up team members for when the right ones arrive.

There may be umpteen number of reasons for becoming inactive for affiliates to become inactive shortly after registering themselves freely with the SFI. I would like to quote some of them for your information ::-

(a) An affiliate may not like the architecture or the business model itself of SFI hence de-activates himself.

(b) An affiliate may not have received timely guidance or support from any external source.

(c) An affiliate might not have fully and correctly
