1. Communication is one of the essential requirements for progress in any walk of our lives. It is a very important & crucial aspect when it come to running the SFI business; effective communication is mandatory with the affiliates in our down line as well as the prospective ones whom we try & sponsor. This process of communication should be at regular intervals.
Effective ways of communication can be broadly classified into two categories of affiliates.
a) Local
b) Global
a) Local
This covers a wide spectrum from next door neighbour, affiliates living in the same street,nearby areas, to different towns,cities but in your own country
For this category of affiliates, the most popular means of communications are
i)Face to Face:-It is quite simple and easy to discuss, convince prospects to join or give more tipsyou’re your affiliates to progress. As a matter of fact, this is the most effective way of communication and it should be in the form of one to one meeting where there is a personal interaction. Owever due to our hectic schedule and various other factors, it won’t be possible for us to be in personal touch with others always.
ii)Telephony-Landline/Mobiles; Mobile charges are quite cheap these days and popular one.
iii)Stickers and posters-another good means of communication for wider publicity to sponsor affiliates.
b) Global
i)Internet Cyber- space: This includes E-mails, On line chats,Skype(for teleconferencing, face to face interaction), Apps like Viber ,Whats- up, Yahoo messenger ,Blackberry messenger etc; Social Media like Face book, Twitter, Instagram etc
ii) Apart from these we have our own SFI’s Forum, PSA/CSA group mails,E-cards for various occasions, Chat on line through genealogy whenever you see one of your affiliates on line which is indicated by this online icon turning yellow, Individual mails through genealogy, Prestige Custom Domains for marketing Ads & Banners etc.
iii) Personal Blogs, Personal Domains/web sites (where you can leave messages, so that other can see it and/or discuss it - in the form of comments).
Therefore, based on the geographical location of your affiliates whom you are likely to sponsor or those affiliates already in your down line, you can choose either of the above mentioned categories.
2. I have been communicating with my team in a similar manner, using the appropriate mode of communication depending on their location.
3. Apart from this you may also include "Duplication" as a very good /effective means of communication.
I copy & follow & the steps of my up line and motivate & encourage my down line to follow the same process. Most effective way is to lead by example!
4.To put it into a nutshell,the most effective way of communication is the one that you are specialized in or for what are you used to work with.
5.Finally a word of caution;its important to communicate with your team by using suitable, precise to the point, polite and articulate words to guide and make them successful in the system without causing embarrassment or frustration.Pl bear that in mind always while communicating.
